And they're looking at Jesus and they're asking him, "Why are you not teaching them the traditions of your elders?" And Jesus further begins to explain about the Pharisees is that you could be doing a lot of religious behavior. You could put on the apparel. You can talk the talk. You can do the motions. But just because you look like you follow God, you say you follow God, it doesn't mean that your heart actually follows God. And what we want to speak about today is how do we know if our heart is following God?
If our heart is far from him, if it just lip service on my leaders, ladies and gentlemen, it's a pleasure to have you. You are now tuned in to Ja's Mike, home of the world's toughest leaders. If you're joining this platform right now and you're watching this video, one thing you're doing is that you are declaring that you are a leader. Okay? My name is Mike Ja on your chair. I'm a certified life coach. I get the opportunity of pouring into people one on-one. And one thing that I've continued to realize is that leaders like yourself, you need someone pouring into you. That's what this platform is about.
The mission of this platform is to motivate and inspire faith and confidence in each individual that watches these videos so that they can go towards the calling that God has gifted you to go towards. And so my today we got a special message out of Mark chapter 7. And today this is a very important message because I'm going to get real close when I say this. Today we doing heart surgery. Okay. There's something right now that got to be uprooted and it got to be uprooted today. At the end of this video we're going to be praying certain things out of your system right now.
certain things that are in your heart right now that God wants you to leave today, they got to go. They can't go with you. That's what we doing today. Okay? God is going to do a heart surgery. And so, I got to explain something to you. The title of today's message is food has an exit. Okay? Okay? Food Food passes through. sin stays. I'm going say that one more time. Food, the thing that you and I love, it passes through the body. It comes in, it goes out. But what's in the heart? Sin. It remains there. And Jesus is going to break this thing down to us.
All right, my leaders. So, I want you to stay for the entire video cuz at the end of this message, we're going to pray things that are going to leave you today. You're not moving forward after today with these things going with you. They're hindering you. They're hindering you. I'm speaking to you right now. They are hindering you. And we're going to pray against them. Okay? But I got to break this understanding down to you. So, let's pray. Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, I just want to say thank you for this message today, this heart surgery.
Thank you for the leader that's tuned in right now. I don't know where they are. I don't know what they're dealing with. I don't know what they came in this video with. But Father, I know today you want to do something special for this leader if they will come into agreement with the words in Mark chapter 7. And I pray that we're able to release what's been hiding in their heart. I pray we're able to let it go. I pray we're able to cast it out, Lord God.
I pray that after they hear your scriptures that they come into agreement that, hey, I can't I can't walk with this no more. That's what today is about. Heavenly Father, that's what today is about, heart surgery. So, Father, do a heart surgery on us today. Use me. Let the Holy Spirit use me right now. This is your platform. I'm just a vessel. And I just pray that you would speak to this leader today. Let them not leave the same way that they came in. Let there be a breakthrough that happens in Jesus name. Amen. Amen.
My leaders, I'm honored to speak this because when I was reading this, I didn't know where I wanted to start. I didn't know where I wanted to begin. So, we're just going to straight dive in. And for context, we're about to read scripture that talks about things things that are within our heart, 13 of them. And at any point, if any 13 of these things resonate with you, I want you to either write it down on a piece of paper or declare by the end of this video, that's what you're going to be letting go of. I'm going to explain it. Okay?
And just for context, Jesus Christ is speaking unto Pharisees. And these Pharisees in the beginning of chapter 7 of Mark are looking at Jesus and they're judging him and they're ridiculing him because of the fact that he's not following tradition. tradition. Now, originally this was a message I wanted to speak about the other day, but I'm going to save because we can get very deep in this one. But I'm summarizing. summarizing. They see his disciples eating and they're eating food and before they eat the food, they don't wash their hands. Okay? They don't wash their hands. They just go in and they just eat.
Well, how the Pharisees grew up in their tradition, tradition, you wash everything. You wash your hands. Okay? We may do that in today's time. wash our hands before we eat. Very practical. But they're watching this and this was something of a tradition that if you did not do that, you were unclean. And they're looking at Jesus and they're asking them, why are you not teaching them the traditions of your elders? And Jesus further begins to explain about the Pharisees serving God with their lips but their heart is far from him. him. And the idea here that we see is that you could be doing a lot of religious behavior. behavior.
You could put on the apparel. You can talk the talk. You can do the motions. But just because you look like you follow God, you say you follow God, it doesn't mean that your heart actually follows God. And what we want to speak about today is how do we know if our heart is following God? If our heart is far from him and it just lip service. So much so that in the beginning of Mark 7, he speaks about how tradition, the way that they follow tradition, they literally put away the commandments of God in order to follow tradition. Like tradition was higher than the word of God.
That's a whole another message. But today today we're going to talk about Mark 7 and we're going to read a few verses here, okay? And we're going to read from 15 on down to 23. This is heart surgery, my litus, I'mma look around, see if anybody can hear me say this. My litus, this is heart surgery that Jesus is about to do. He about to set us free. If you want to be free, stay stay tuned. Please don't leave this video today. Not this one. Not this one. We're going to start from verse 15. I'm reading out of the KJV.
Jesus is going to break down what actually defiles a man. So, let's read. He says this, "There is nothing from without a man that entering into him can defile him. But the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. hear. Verse 17. And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. And he said unto them, "Are you so without understanding also?
Do you not perceive that whatsoever thing from without enterth into the man, it cannot defile him?" because because it enter not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the drought, purging all meats. Verse 20. And he said, "That which cometh out of the man that defileth the man. man. For from within, out of the heart of man, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, adulteries, fornications, fornications, murders, murders, thefts, thefts, covetness, covetness, wickedness, wickedness, deceit, deceit, lasciviousness, lasciviousness, and evil eye. Blasphemy, Blasphemy, pride, pride, foolishness. foolishness. All these things come from within and defile defile the man.
My leaders, hear the words that are coming out of Jesus Christ's mouth. mouth. Verse 15, there is nothing from without a man that entered into him can defile him, but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. He's explaining how. Those things that are within the heart are actually what's defiling us. food. This mere food that we speak of. You talk about Pharisees, "My disciples didn't wash their hands and they ate food and they're unclean." But he says in verse 19, "It cannot defile him because it enterth not into his heart, but into the belly, and it goeth out into the drought, purging all
meat." The food that we eat that enters into the body has an exit point. point. It's going to go. It's going to be in your body for a few hours and it's going to exit. But here what he's saying here very closely. Those things that enter the heart, every 13 thing that we just described was sin. When sin enters the heart, it's not there for just a couple hours by itself and exits. No, sin stays. Food passes through, sin stays. And so now that sin stays, stays, it defiles the man because sin, not only does sin stay, sin begins to produce behavior.
So whatever is in the heart that's not repented of and cast out or expelled, this my leader will begin to create a behavior. You'll start acting in ways that you typically wouldn't act when your heart is close to God. Food passes through. sin stays. And as we look at this verse 20, that which cometh out of the man that defile a man, for from within, out of the heart of man proceed these 13 things that we're going to describe right now. Okay. one one evil thoughts. Just pure evil thoughts. Thoughts that don't align what God's thinking.
Thoughts of revenge, thoughts of desiring to go deeper into the sin that's contrary to the heart of God. evil thoughts, adulteries. adulteries. Adulteries and adultery is the breaking of a marital covenant. You and I who are believers, we're in covenant with God. So, anything that breaks that covenant is an example would be a husband and his wife. wife. When a husband or a wife decides they want to step out of this marriage and they want to engage with another individual, they're committing an adultery. adultery. There's this emotional affair that happens. There's this sexual affair that happens and it's an affair.
And when we're committing adultery against God, we're having affairs that don't align with his will. We're having affairs with the things of the world. We're committing adultery against God. Fornication. Fornication. fornication. This word fornication in the Greek is where we get the word porna, which is where we get pornography. Fornication is sexual immorality. This is the shacking up to somebody you're not married to. This is going on the online websites and the watching of the pornography. This is the sleeping with individuals. This is the sexual perversion. We are committing sexual immorality. This is coming all from the heart. It's there.
You find yourself still in the space of, hey, lust is controlling and ruling your life. This is what fornication is about. It's your sexual and your sexuality moving in a way that's against God's will for your life. Murders. We know about our commandment that thou shalt not commit murder. But here's one thing that's interesting in the scripture. It speaks about if you hate your brother, brother, you've committed murder in your heart. So murder doesn't just deal with the taking of someone's life, but in your heart, heart, if you hate your brother, you've committed committed murder. murder.
So So murders in this context has to do with wrath, has to do with hatred. If you find right now that there's somebody you hate, this needs to be repented of. Because if there's somebody you hate, it's going to produce a a behavior that looks like taking somebody's life. Think about all the times when a life is lost. They men try to get revenge when vengeance is the Lord's, but we try to get revenge. And when we're trying to get revenge, we're doing it from a place of hatred. Absolute hatred. And so the enemy has an open door.
Now that the enemy has an open door because you have this spirit of hatred, you're already in your heart committed murder. And then you see the behavior. As long as this stays within you, then the behavior comes out. And then you see the news, you see the obituary. This is within the heart, my leaders. Thefts, Thefts, the desire to steal. You just can't help but steal something. Stealing ideas, stealing people's partners. stealing people's vehicles, robbing somebody's home, just thievery. You got to steal. Somebody gives you something, you can't even give it back. You just got to take. You see something that's not yours and you just got to take it.
Thefts, that's a wickedness in the heart. It's defiling us. Covetousness. Covetousness. Covetousness is not being content with what you have and always looking at what everybody else has and you start getting envious. envious. You start feeling jealous. Dang, why they got that and I ain't got that. That's jealousy. That's envy. They got it right now, but maybe your time is tomorrow. But you can't help but to covet. So now you're storing up bitterness bitterness which can then lead to hatred which can also lead to resentment.
My leaders coveting, not being content with your portion and what you have and not even being able to you know what you can't praise when other people are victorious. You can't see the good in somebody else's victory. That's covetousness. So now when they win, you mad. It should have been you, right? It should have been you. I get it. Then we have wickedness. Wickedness now almost goes back to evil thoughts, wicked behavior, evil behavior. It says that this wickedness is also this rebellion. Wickedness is the opposite of righteousness. You just got to do something evil.
You just you the type to use the uh the devil emoji way too much using that little that little pink emoji with the horns. horns. Straight wicked, man. That's rebellion. Deceit. Deceit. Deceit is the inability to tell the truth. You're a manipulator. You use deception to get your way. You use deception to gain control or an edge or an advantage of somebody else. That's deceitful. deceitful. Your intentions is not for the other person. Your intentions is for only your own gain. And you will go out your way to do any single thing you can to use deception because it always worked in your favor. That's deceit. It's not honest.
It's not truthful. truthful. Deceit is within the heart. One of the things about the flood when you go to the to Noah and you read about what happened in the times of Noah before the flood is the Lord speaks about at all times always the heart of man was wicked. Their thoughts were always evil. So there was no repenting. There was no turning of the ways. There was no honoring and acknowledging God. It was just straight wickedness. He had to flood the place. We have lasciv lasciv lasciviousness. Okay. So now lasciviousness, I had to actually look that word. I don't use that word in my everyday life.
But lasciviousness is actually actually worse than the word that we just used. It's worse than lust. Okay? It's it's beyond lust. is now it's true sexual perversion that's lived openly. Okay. You're beyond hiding the lust. You're open to expressing this wicked lustful behavior. This open open perversion in the sight of men. It's beyond just doing weird things in the open. Weird things in public that are just yo that's just that's just perverse lasciviousness. You we see it all the time. An evil eye. is almost like covetness. covetness. Like you ever see those people, they just they always looking at somebody like in disgust.
There's a once again there's a hatred for people's success. that the hatred for what people are doing. doing. Just an evil eye. You hate people. You angry. You can't smile at nobody. You just a just a hater. That's an evil lie. You can't see good in people. You refuse to see the good in the world. Your perception of how you perceive life in others is evil. Blasphemy. Blasphemy. Blasphemy is similar to word curses. You're always blurting out something negative. negative. You're always like when the kid has an evil parent or a adult that says you'll never be anything good in this life. You'll never do anything good.
You'll never accomplish anything in your life. You're stupid. This is cursing. I hope you go to you feeling the blame. Why don't you just shut up and die? Just all this is blasphemy. Our words that are cursing people is blasphemy. Holy Spirit, one of the unforgivable sins is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Ghost. So what's truthful? You're dishonoring what's actually the truth and you're speaking a curse against the truth. Blasphemy. Blasphemy. Pride. Pride. Pride is self-righteousness. Pride is the wickedness of Satan. It's the root of many other sins. It's the reason Satan was cast out of heaven. This is pride. pride. You don't need nobody else.
It's just it's just about you. Not about anybody else. else. You can do all things by yourself. Pride. You don't need God. You are your God. That's pride. You ain't got no humility in you. I don't need nobody else's help. That's pride. pride. And as we know, before that fall, pride is at its highest. Before Satan fell, his pride had reached its peak. And then foolishness. Foolishness is simply doing things that are just dumb. Things that can get your life in jeopardy. jeopardy. Things that are just not wise. Not using discernment. Not using wisdom. Once again, not asking for the Lord to bring you wisdom.
is doing constant idiotic foolish behavior. This is foolishness. Okay? Not wanting understanding, not wanting wisdom. Matter of fact, running from reproof, running from sound teaching is foolishness. Because this foolishness can actually cost you your life. Okay? And so verse 23 says, "All these evil things come from within and they defile a man." Look at all of these things that were in the heart. In the book of Samuel, it says that man looks at the outward appearance, but God is the one who judges the heart. These are things you really just can't know is in somebody's heart.
You may see the behavior of certain one of these, but this is a posture that is defiling us. And only the Lord is able to take this out of the heart and do the heart surgery. surgery. But here's the problem. It does not come out unless we desire for our heart to be changed. Right? Unless we desire the repentance. repentance. Unless we desire to change from the wickedness, we need to repent. We got to repent.
We got to turn and ask the Lord like, "Help me turn from what's defile my heart." And if you're watching this video and you don't know the love of Jesus Christ, the one who actually saves the soul. I talked about this in a whole another video. video. You receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because you're looking for the physician who can save your soul, who can actually penetrate your heart, who has the ability to take this out of you. And this is why we repent. This is why we go to prayer. This is why constantly we're asking the Lord to to search our heart.
David said this in a psalm. He said to the Lord to search my heart. Search it. Why? David was very aware that there could be some wickedness that's in that heart. Why does he know that? that? Jesus explains this very clearly. And this is what we got to continue to do time and time again. Like, Lord, if you notice that there's this wickedness that's within your heart and you can feel it, these are the things that we need to pray against, my leaders. Okay. Okay. My leaders, I'm going to sit down on this one so that we can just pray. Let's pray. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah.
Thank you to Jesus. Thank you, heavenly father. Thank you, Lord. Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord God, we come to you right now with a repented heart, Lord Jesus. Heavenly Father, and we're acknowledging, we're acknowledging right now, Lord God, those things that have been in our heart, that have been wicked, Lord, that have been just straight wicked, that have been defiling us, heavenly father. And we're praying that you would cleanse us today, Jesus Christ. Lord, we need your precious blood. We need your blood to cover us today, Lord God. Father, we want to walk in your steps, Lord Jesus. And we need you, Father.
Have mercy on us, sovereign God. have grace on us, heavenly father. Lord, we admit and we confess right now that there's been wickedness in our hearts. There's been wickedness that we didn't even know was in there, heavenly father. And Father, we thank you that your words in Mark 7 have exposed the wickedness in the heart, the 13 things that are just sitting there. And Father, we are sorry for not knowing that they were there, Lord God. And so, Father, we bring these to you and we set these 13 wicked things at your feet, heavenly father.
Lord God, right now we come against against evil thoughts that have been lingering in our mind today, heavenly father. Lord, we come against the spirit of adultery. Heavenly Father, right now, we cast that out of us right now in the name of Jesus. We come out of agreement with fornications, Lord. Right now, I pray that you begin to put a love for our brothers and for our sisters. Lord, you put a love there. Your word says that if we even hate our brother, we have committed murder in our heart. Lord, I come out of agreement with being a murderer. I am not a murderer. I repent right now in the name of Jesus and I release the spirit of murder out of me right now in the name of Jesus. I rebuke and I release the spirit of murder out of my leaders. Heavenly Father, we cast out the spirit of thefts, just stealing. Lord, we rebuke that spirit right now. covetousness, God.
Father, we rebuke this spirit of covetousness right now. We cast it out of our heart in Jesus' name, Lord God. Father, we are grateful for what we have. We are grateful for all that we have in Jesus mighty name, Lord God. Father, we cast out the spirit of wickedness, that rebellious spirit, has got to go in the name of Jesus. Spirit of deceit, we rebuke you right now in the name of Jesus. Come out of us. Come out of us in Jesus' name. spirit of lasciviousness. You you public display of perversion. Just a perversion that wants to just go against the will of God and not care.
We cast you out right now. You evil eye and blasphemy. I I bind you two spirits together right now. And I cast you into the abyss in the name of Jesus. Heavenly Father, take control of my tongue. Take control of my tongue when I want to be blasphemous. Lord God, take control of my actions when I want to have hypocrisy leading me, Lord Jesus Christ. And Father, right now, cast out the spirit of pride in the name of Jesus. Lord, I don't want to be cast down like Satan because of pride. Lord, pride must be removed from my heart today, Lord Jesus. And I loosen your humility, Lord.
Show me how to remain humble as a servant. Show me how to remain humble like Jesus, Lord God. And Lord, I cast out the spirit of foolishness, Lord. We are not dumb. We rebuke it, Lord. And we open our heart and our mind to understanding. We open our heart to wisdom, Lord. And we thank you for your wisdom, heavenly father. So, Father, we come to you right now. We thank you for cleansing us with your word, Lord God. We thank you for taking out these spirits that were in us, defiling us, Lord God.
And Father, we repent right now once again, and we just want to say thank you for your forgiveness, Lord. We don't deserve your your mercy or your grace, but we thank you for your forgiveness, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. Father, I declare and I decree that this leader is free. This leader is free. Something released out of them today in the name of Jesus. They came against something that was coming against them, Lord God. And Father, I thank you. I thank you, Lord, that we're not just believers that are following you with our lips. We're not all lip service. No, this is going to be a year of heart service.
Lord, our heart is yours, Jesus Christ. So, Father, we thank you for shifting our hearts today. We thank you for turning us in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. You get the glory, Jesus. You get the glory, Lord God. So, Father, we give you the remainder of our day. We submit our lives to you, Lord God. And we just want to say we thank you for this peace and we receive your love now in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen. Amen.
