my leaders. Yo, today we're gonna do something very different and I may start this every week and we may just start doing fate Fridays where I share you testimonials of how I'm walking my own faith journey out. You know, I do a lot of teaching throughout the week and I just believe it's very important that you all see practically how God is also moving in my own life and maybe even the life of others. So, Fate Fridays is what I'm going to call it for now. And most likely you're going to see a thumbnail that says testimony. And so, I thought about it today.

I was like, God, what testimonial can I share? And it was kind of difficult because I felt like I was looking for these big miraculous moments to share with you all. Like, I want these big big supernatural moments. And what I realized is God has been just consistent. He's been so consistent and we've been so close to one another that I feel like I've just been maybe I've been missing the miracles. And I thought about there's so many different things that have happened.

And what I want to share this week is one thing that the Lord has done for me this week or this this month, even in the month of January, that he showed up in my life is I I got my discipline and I got my focus back. And I thought, you know what, Lord, if I share this, it's going to be boring. Who want to listen to a a message about focus and discipline? But honestly, that's what I I got back. I got that back. One of the words that not one of the words, the word that the Lord gave to me um for this year is crucify my flesh.

Okay? And I believe he gave me this word because in December, my leaders, I was struggling. I was struggling with my flesh. I'm not going to lie to you. I'm going be honest. It was hard for me to discipline myself. It was hard for me to crucify my flesh. I was just distracted. That was my most distracting month. And my wife, I remember her when I told her this before, she said December was you were distracted. You were undisiplined. I didn't notice. And it's crazy cuz some things you could be dealing with and going through and you know your standard. You know your level of productivity.

You know, you know when something's off and I felt December something was just off. I was just distracted with every little thing. I couldn't keep my disciplines. I wasn't getting up at the time that I would typically get up. I'm hitting that snooze button a little extra. You know, um my diet was all over the place. I was eating every single thing I could I could put my dang mouth to, you know. I felt myself gaining a little bit as well too when it came to my weight. you know, I'm already like a slim cat, but so if I gain in an unhealthy manner, I'm gonna notice it.

I'm really going to notice. I'm typically in shape because I run all the time. Um, and so I was just like, dang, I'm I'm losing my discipline and my focus. And then the part of losing your discipline, your focus, like daily routines, for example, of just waking up, getting on my knees, and just praying to the Lord, right? repenting of my sins. I realized that I allowed the enemy to come in and now I I left doors open. Lack of discipline just left straight doors open where my mind is thinking lustful thoughts, just bombarded with lustful thoughts, you know, like the flesh was just craving everything. everything.

And it was a battle of the flesh trying to gain control. And I realized that Lord, if I'm going to move into 2026, I need to crucify my flesh. And so that was a prayer that I was praying in December. Lord, give me my discipline back. Show me a new discipline. discipline. And in the midst of December, he was blessing me with new new individuals to serve and help. I'm like, Lord, I need to I need to serve and help myself first. So, show show me what to do. And I remember one of the miraculous things that happened in January was I was determined. Some a shift happened.

The shift happened right in New Year's. It wasn't about a resolution or anything of that nature. It was just the words crucify my flesh was prompted into my spirit. And I said, Lord, what does that look like? And then he started to give me a scriptures when Paul speaking about beating his flesh and making his his flesh his slave and running this race in order to win a prize. You know, running this this Christian walk like an athlete. And so I determined myself that, you know what, this year I'mma go back to living like an athlete. I'mma train as though I was playing basketball again, you know?

Because during basketball season, those were the most hard, intense days. But when I'm reading that scripture, I'm thinking about how he talks about discipline. Really, as believers, we need to be more disciplined than an Olympic athlete. Why? Because the temptations that come, they come to set us off track. There's a scripture that talks about how sin easily besets us. and in Galatians how when we walk according to the flesh, it it stops us from doing things that we ought to do. And I realized that's what happened in December. So much things I wanted to do, but I couldn't actually finish them or accomplish them because my discipline was just off.

It wasn't it didn't even have nothing to do you know with the spirit where you can say okay it was like a spirit of laziness but I felt like I was still in a way disciplined but it was just my focus wasn't on the right on in the right space and what the Lord showed me in January was if I would discipline myself and do the part that I can control everything else will begin to fall in place. So, for instance, in January, all right, I ended off December uh from a financial point in a bang. It was great.

And in January, it comes and in January, January, we enter a fast church and it's a 21-day fast. And I'm asking the Lord, "Okay, Lord, what type of fast do you actually want me to do?" And the fast my leader that I end up doing is I end up doing a fast where I just decide not to eat. I'm still drinking tea and water, but I don't eat until later in the day, like 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m. or sometimes I just go without eating and I'm praying throughout the day. And every time I fast, I notice a breakthrough. I notice a breakthrough. I'm killing the flesh.

And then when you know when you kill the flesh, you get um you your spirit is more sensitive. Okay? You're you're more sensitive to the word of God. you're more sensitive to what God is actually speaking to you cuz your flesh is is is dying. Okay? And as I was doing this, I started to see how I had the energy, more energy now to begin to do things that the Lord was calling me to do. So, one thing he had me do was bring back the merchandise that I used to promote on this channel, but he had me do it in a way that I've never done it before.

He had me make sure everything was professional underneath Jaja Global Leadership LLC. And he just had me doing it the different just creating creating merchandise, creating the website, creating the the tags, creating the the SKUs, you know, understanding the math behind it, understanding what the brand is actually about, understanding who it serves and who it's going to minister to. He just had me doing things that it took focus to do. And one of the reason why I realized I was focused, the first thing that I wasn't thinking about was food in the morning. I'm not thinking about food.

When I go out to go to Starbucks or a coffee shop, I'm not thinking about, dang, you know, stopping to buy a meal. I'm not thinking about none of those things that would typically distract me. I'm not on my phone just endlessly doom scrolling through social media, just anything that could distract me. In January, the Lord had me just shut it off so I could focus on this website. And so for weeks after weeks after weeks, I'm search I'm I'm literally focusing on the website. And one of the things that came to my spirit like, "Okay, Mike, you got to take care of bills, though. You got to go out.

You got to get more clients that you could serve and you got to serve them. You need to get income for the end of the month." But the Lord would reveal to me in dreams when you know when you fast I realize when I fast personally I just get I'm I'm bombarded with dreams and one of the way that the Lord speaks to you is through visions and dreams and dreams speaks to me so vividly in dreams and he continued to confirm to me Michael I don't want you doing what you did in December and I know you have needs but I need you to just focused on one thing

right now that's all I need you to You're so distracted like you got ADHD or something. You want to do everything right now. Listen, I have I'm God and I have the ability to make everything work for your favor. Okay? So, trust me when I say focus on this one thing. And I remember talking to my wife, you know, my wife, she was like, "Mike, I thought, you know, God gave you the gift for this. He gave you the gift for this, you know, to do this. He gave you the gift to do this. he gave you these people to call, you know, and just keeping me accountable.

And I was like, babe, I understand that. I know what I told you last month, right? But I truly believe I'm hearing from the Lord and he's telling me to put all these things down so I could just focus here. Like if I just focus, he just lock in and the Lord is going to provide. I just I just believe it. And so week after week after week, I ain't even cutting my hair, y'all. like bald jaw that y'all see. I'm talking I had a full head of hair. Most people may not have seen it because I was wearing a hat, but I had a full head of hair.

I mean, I was just locked in and it felt good, man. It felt good finally getting to that finish line. But what I learned in that process was patience. patience. Every single day I'm like, "Lord, can I I thought I was going to be finished today." He's like, "No, you're not finished. I'm back at it the next day." Yo, babe, I think I'm going to finish the the website today. I'm going to launch it. I get there and I'm doing things I need to do and it's taking hours to finish and boom, I still don't get finished. And I'm like, dang. Okay, Lord, I'm going to finish tomorrow.

And now I'm being obedient and I'm working on it. But he was showing me like the things that he wants us to complete. A lot of times, sometimes it's not going to be done in a day. It's going to be a process. And I was learning that in December December I had too much impatience. My because I let my flesh win. I was too impulsive. I was too impulsive to have the patience and the discipline necessary to complete the task that he was calling me to complete. My mind was all over the place. I'm too distracted.

And in January, what he did was show me how to focus on one thing. I just need you to focus on one thing and I want you to finish it into completion. And then I would get words and scripture talking about finishing. My pastor at church would be talking about finish the work. And I would just be so convicted that this was the one thing that the Lord wanted me to finish that I finally finished the Declare by Faith website. And I'm so proud of it because of all the work that went into it.

This I built websites throughout the years, but this was the first time I did something this meticulous, this detailed, this professional. Um, I felt like I did it right. And it was because I wasn't distracted. I wasn't impulsive. And I was really learning. I was really researching. And I just feel so phenomenal um about that. And that's a breakthrough for me, you know, because I love to do multiple things, but to be able to say, you know what, although everything looks good, I want to know what's God. And the only way for me to do that was to once again crucify my flesh.

And what I realized during that time, I'm going to the gym still, okay? Ended up getting a Planet Fitness gym membership. So, I'm going there majority of the week, maybe four or five times out of the week, and I'm just feeling good, man. I'm feeling good. My body's feeling good. My my my shape has gotten better. My mind has still sharp. It's actually sharper than it was in December. And I just feel amazing. And I thought to myself, dang, Lord, you had to discipline me throughout this 21-day fast so that I can get back to being disciplined and focused.

And this is part of the reason why lately you all may have seen that I've been able to upload consistently. I've been on a consistent upload because I'm consistently now being able to get back to spending consistent time with the Lord. you know, that never changes, but now it's it's it's a deeper experience. Um, more discipline of getting myself working out in the gym, just doing the hard things, running, you know, it's helping me even in this platform where one of the things about December was inconsistency.

God has put focus and discipline back in my life to where now I can show up to you all and I can serve you all and give you all me messages that I'm getting from the word of God, you know, and sharing these type of testimonials and it's an honor and it's a privilege to be able to do such a thing. He gave me his platform for a reason and ultimately I don't want to let the Lord down, you know, and so I do these videos to submit this to the Lord and that submitting this to the Lord, he's going to disperse it to those who need to watch it.

But that's what has been a a breakthrough for me, my leaders. That's that's been a because I believe it's going to continue to to build this business that he has me in in this ministry. And what I'm seeing is just different breakthroughs with different individuals now because of the consistency, different individuals that I get the opportunity to coach oneonone and get to serve. um different ways to impact people in different in other ways, you know, through individuals buying the merch and just wearing it and feeling like, yeah, you know, they're feeling just they're representing something. They're representing their faith in Jesus Christ.

And I just I'm honored to be able to create. And I've always wanted to get back into the space because one of my biggest problems has been just the consistency. And whenever I'm not posting or doing things like this, which I love to do, by the way, it's because, hey, I may not be focused or I may not be disciplined. disciplined. Okay? And if y'all see that, hey, y'all watching the video, keep me accountable, too. Go back to my other videos and say, "Hey, Mike, why you ain't posted lately?" You know, I want y'all to do that for me. That motivates me, man.

I love y'all comments in the comments below. I love the feedback. I love the remarks whether it be here, whether it be social media. I love the feedback. And so, yeah, man. I just want to say that's been a testimonial for me that I felt like, man, do should I share this one? God, is anybody going to care about this one? But discipline and focus is what God has allowed me to walk in this season. And it feels phenomenal. It feels amazing. And that's how I'm crucifying my flesh this season. It's important.

The Lord has revealed to me, Michael, if you want to go where I'm going to take you, you got to be focused and you got to be disciplined. Okay? It's very vital. It's important. It's imperative. So, if you made it to the end of this video, you're a real one. Hey, if God has been doing anything in your life, anything special, I would love to know. You can email me at jaj globalgmail.com globalgmail.com or you can share in the comments below, you know, what the Lord has been doing for you. You know, maybe you can share a testimonial.

I love for just an opportunity to hear your own story and maybe we can do this on Fridays. You know, if you you want to continue or you want me to continue in this, hey, let me know. We trying something out right now. But Fate Fridays, thank you for hearing my testimonial, my leaders. I love you. I'm going see you in the next video. We out.
