Malas, let's pray. Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Father, I just want to thank you for this moment. I want to thank you for this hour. Father, I want to thank you for this viewer that's watching this video today. Lord, as I go and I speak, Lord, let me say something that's going to impact your leader. Father, let me say something that is going to build them up, that is going to encourage them and lead them towards Jesus Christ. Father, we come together today to glorify the name of Jesus.
Father, allow them today in this video to get a remembrance of what it is to walk in the faith and what you can do versus the wisdom of man. Lord God, there's a lot of things that sound good. There's a lot of things that the world has told us, heavenly father. And Lord, you've shown us things. This leader has seen things. This leader has felt things. And these things weren't random, heavenly father. They were from you. So Lord Jesus, I ask that you would guide me today to speak to your leader. Talk to us today, Lord God. We love you.
And it's in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen. Amen. [Applause] [Applause] Hallelujah. My leaders, today different video than what I was originally going to post. And I'm led to speak about something that I read in First Corinthians chapter 2. And shout out to my brother in Christ, Austin, for leading me here today. We were in a coaching session. And this chapter came as a reference to something he wanted me to read. And as I'm reading it, there's so much things that I can go into, but this is the one I want to speak about today.
Paul reminds us about God's power, and I want us to read in 1 Corinthians chapter 2. I'm going to read a few verses, five verses specifically, and and I'm going to emphasize a few of these verses. All right? So he says, "And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power. that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man but in the power of God. My leaders, today's message is going to be faith in God's power. Recently, I've been getting a lot of dreams from the Lord. And these dreams, God has had me wake up, remember them vividly, and I'm having to write them down in my notes. And as I'm writing these things down in my notes, some of them are about certain individuals, some of them about my wife.
And God is giving me a lot of dreams in order to speak something very clearly to me. And as he's giving me these these dreams, some of them initially don't make sense. and I'm having to seek him deeper in order to understand what he's actually revealing to me. I'm going to God in prayer. I'm reading my word to see what lines up with what. I'm coming together in union sometimes with my wife in counsel to be able to see if we can decipher in the spirit. God is the one that gives the wisdom for these dreams.
And as I get the potent accuracy of what these dreams mean to me, it gives me so much faith in my Lord and Savior for demonstrating his power. When I share my testimonial and I also speak about how Jesus Christ revealed himself to me. When I'm speaking about this, I tell the story of suicide, almost committing suicide in 2014. And during this dark season of my life, it wasn't any words that were able to actually take me out of what I was going through. depression. Words couldn't take me out of it. I didn't even seek individuals to pour wisdom into me. I didn't know I was going through depression.
I just knew that I was doing all the things I shouldn't be doing in order to cope with my dark season. [Applause] [Applause] Matter of fact, I started to read certain books thinking that these certain books or these certain videos were going to help me get out of my deep dark dark depression. But what I come to realize is what took me out was the demonstration of God's power. It was me on a day like today calling out to Jesus Christ and asking him, "Lord, if you're who you say you are, I need you to come into my life today.
Not in the next 5 minutes, not in the next 30 minutes. I need you right here and I need you right now." And lo and behold, I get a knock on my door. Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom And it's my ex at the time. God came in miraculously, used somebody else to pour me out of suicidal ideiation and he showcased a demonstration of his power and his love and here I am over 10 years later. How y'all doing? This was a demonstration of the power of God. When I'm reading this text, I'm reminded that Paul is speaking this thing from experience on the road to Damascus.
Paul is getting ready to do what he's been doing, persecute more Christians. Christians. Paul, one of the wisest that we look at in the New Testament, came from a background, as you all know, my believers and my readers, a very dark [Applause] [Applause] space. And it was profound that once again, it wasn't words from believers that made them come to Christ. It wasn't, check this out, it wasn't the excellency of speech, although I'm pretty sure at that time there's folks who probably were trying to convince him while he was murdering murdering Christians. It wasn't the enticing words of man or the wisdom.
It was once again demonstration of the spirit and of power. It was Jesus Christ coming to talk to Paul directly, giving him this unexplainable experience that changed and forever transformed the life of Paul the Apostle. Why am I going on about this? What reason am I continuously knocking on the door of the demonstration of the power of God? Often times, and I always ask the Lord this when I'm coaching somebody, I'm like, "Lord, I don't really know how to help this this person. I know my word. I'm getting to know you more. I'm getting to be filled with wisdom and knowledge.
But Lord, I know that this person that I'm called to serve, that I'm called to help, maybe this video that I'm called to upload, I don't expect that it's going to be my perfect speech. So, a lot of times I just go off the top. Well, I really just go off the top. I don't have a script here. I just let the Holy Spirit lead me where he wants to lead me. I'm I'm not making sure I don't mess up. Although I would rather not mess up, quote quote [Applause] [Applause] unquote. I don't try to use the biggest words in the dictionary.
Although if I wanted to use some big words, I could use some big words. I'm not trying to convince you with speech with just my words because I know that it's not necessarily how articulate and how educated I sound that's going to affect you and going to impact you. I absolutely have to have a word that I believe that is coming from the Lord and speak that with conviction. Those who have ears are going to hear. And when I begin to speak, you're not hearing me. you're hearing the father. And if you're hearing the father, something powerful absolutely has to happen.
When I come into the presence of individuals and I'm praying for them, it's not the eloquence in my prayer, but it's the faith in the demonstration of power that I know that God is able to do right here, right now, if we all come together and if we come to agreement. This is my faith when I'm coaching somebody. somebody. This is my faith when God is leading me to somebody. This is my faith when I come back the next week with my client and I'm asking the Lord, God, how do you want me to coach this week? What assignment do you want me to do?
What can I pray for him? I want to see the demonstration that God's power is actually transforming this individual. The spirit of exitation, Lord, is lifting them up. I want to know that something something shifted because I know for a fact that when Jesus Christ came to me, something shifted. My old ways began to continuously continuously fall, go to the wayside. I no longer got desires that I used to have that I had for decades. God, what you doing for me? He's showing his demonstration of power.
And a lot of things and a lot of times what we're actually looking for more than just hearing sermon after sermon and sermon on YouTube. Although that's great that you're hearing the [Applause] word and you're reading so much. You got the knowledge here. You're reading which is great. You're spending time in your word. You're spending time in the ancient text. This thing right here. Hallelujah. Hey, you're flipping through the pages. All right, that's great. But what I'm looking for and what we need is God's presence. Because God does not show up void of power. When the presence of God shows up, there's power there. There's transformation there.
There's God's glory there. I want to read this again. He said, "And brethren, when I came to you, I came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom." So, he didn't come to people with the the wisdom of Solomon. Okay? He He shared his testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power. Paul was more concerned about demonstrating the power of God.
[Applause] The thing about wisdom and the thing about eloquency of speech, excellency of speech, what it tends to do at times, it it highlights me. It it it says this is how much I know. This is how smart I am. I know big words that you don't know. I got information that you don't know. And if I'm coming to preach and teach and share my testimony in that manner, I'm coming with the wrong posture. And I'll be honest with you all. When I first began this platform years and years and years ago, I thought that's what I needed to do.
I thought, hey, in order for me to be effective, I got to I got to be speaking these big words. I tried to start looking through a dictionary just so I could see, okay, what words can I use? But no, I realized folks are disconnected. Why am I giving you words that you may not even understand? What is this speaking that I'm doing really about? What is it about? And God forbid me if I'm speaking just so that you can glorify me. I don't want to be glorified.
I'd appreciate to be respected and loved, but I'm here to do what the father sent Jesus to do, which is to glorify the father in heaven. Glorify the name of Jesus Christ. And I'm reminded today that part of glorifying God is sharing the testimonial about his power. Being able to come together and show the demonstration of God's power, what he can actually do, help individuals experience the revelation of Christ. One thing we spoke about that I was reminded is that many individuals and believers have never had a true encounter with the Lord.
We've had we've encountered the text and we've read the text, but we've never had an encounter with the Lord. And my passion, what I'm ignited about moving forward is that those who have not had an encounter begin to have an encounter with God. Those who have not heard the voice of God begin to have hear the voice of God. They begin to have dreams. You begin to see visions. You begin to prophesy. You begin to get fresh downloads from the Holy Spirit. My biggest prayer is that when I'm spitting this word right now and I'm giving you a message that there's a download that comes from heaven up above.
And this download brings you back into clarity. It gives you a revelation. It gives you an idea of what you supposed to be doing. that every single time I spit this word, I'm doing this to do what? Motivate and inspire faith and confidence. Faith in Jesus Christ, confidence in who you are, so that you can go towards the calling that God has gifted you. And let me tell you something, God has gifted every last one of you with a calling. I know mine. Until the day that the Lord calls me home, I'm going to be doing something like this. I'm going to be speaking the word.
And it may not look like being behind a pull pit, which is no problem with that, but it may look different. And what I'm saying to you, your journey may look different. It may not look like the next next man, but your testimonial demonstrates the power of God. My wife has a powerful testimonial. Most believers that I know that I've come into contact, they testimony is powerful. And this testimonial and this revelation of Jesus is something that I realized it comes with so much power. You can't deny it. It reminds me of the uh witnesses when Jesus Christ rose and over 400 accounts and 400 witnesses saw the risen king.
I can imagine he came with so much power. It was beyond wisdom. It was beyond worldly wisdom. So my leaders today my leadership challenge if you are in a space right now where you need to experience God's deep connection, the Lord's deep love, a demonstration of his power, his hands moving in your life. My biggest prayer today is going to be that you go to God and you ask the Lord Jesus, can you reveal yourself to me? Can you reveal yourself to me? In the book of James, if you feel like, man, well, I've been too sinful and I can't come to Christ and ask him, James actually challenges you.
Here's what it says in James. In James, it says this. James 1 vers5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that give it to all men liberally. So freely God gives and upgrade it not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith. So God wants you to ask in faith. And he says this without wavering, nothing wavering. For he that wavered is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
I want you today not to be double-minded, but to go to God and ask him to reveal himself. What's your plan? What's your plan of direction for my life? What's your plan of clarity? Lord, show me your presence. Heavenly Father, reveal it to me. I I got so much word right now, but even beyond this word that I have, Lord Jesus, reveal your word to me. Reveal you. I need you. And so, heavenly father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, father, we come to you today and we thank you, Lord, for your love.
We thank you for your precious son Jesus Christ who came and died on a cross for my sins. Who rose from the dead on the third day. Hallelujah. Who when he ascended to heaven sent the gift of the Holy Ghost. And so, Father, within us, Lord, houses the Holy Spirit. And Lord God, our ability to go straight to Jesus and have this connection with you. Father, I ask that you will fill my leader up with your power. Fill my leader up with your presence, Lord God. Let them dwell in your garden. Heavenly Father, let them feel you move, Jesus Christ. Let there be healing in their body, Lord God.
A renewal of their spirit, a renewed mind. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace and we thank you for your mercy. Father, this week after this message, Father, my biggest prayer that is that this leader will experience your power, that they will experience you moving in their life, that you will move in their situation, that you will move beyond their wisdom that they've collected, that you will move beyond their understanding. Heavenly Father, Lord God, I ask that you do something mighty in their life. Lord, we're praying to you without doubting. We believe that you can and we believe that you will and we're in preparation, Jesus Jesus Christ.
Father, there's a power that you move with. And Lord, I know that you are capable and you are able. Father, do it for your leader today. Guide your leader today. Build up your leader today. Pursue your leader today. Their soil is ready right now, Jesus. If they made it to the end of this video, their soil is ready right now. They want to see a miraculous move. Jesus, Lord, move, God. You do what only you can do. Hallelujah. I'm only a messenger, God, but you do what only you can do as they come into agreement with this prayer.
Father, may we have a testimonial that we can share that may change and impact somebody else's life. So God, we just want to say we thank you, Lord God. We repent for our sin. any sin that we've done today that went against your will, that went against you, Father, we ask that you forgive us right now, Jesus Christ. Father, use us today, lead us today, Father, we love you. And it's in Jesus mighty name that we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. My My leaders, I love you, but Jesus Christ loves you more.
My lead, I truly believe if you call on to the name of Jesus Christ, your life will surely be [Applause] [Applause] changed. God is going to show his power to to you. Get ready. I love you. We out. M.
