If I don't finish that work, the people that I'm called to bless that can't get blessed, that book is going to plant seeds somewhere. That book is also going to reap. It's going to help some people come to Jesus Christ. And if I don't finish the work, how can they be saved? It ain't me writing the book. if the Holy Ghost using me to write the book because this thing that I got to work on that I got to write is going to bless so many people. Hallelujah. Yes, Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah.
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, Father, I ask that you would speak right here, right now, that your spirit will be present and it will go before me right now. Lord God, we uplift the name of Jesus Christ right here, right now. Father God, as I speak to your leader today, heavenly father, I pray that they're ignited to do the will of the father, heavenly father. And I'm ignited ignited today and I am honored today to be able to speak this message to your leaders. Father, allow me to say this the way that you would have me say this.
Father, I pray that this message falls on good soil. Let this leader get something out of this, something that they're going to be able to take with them and use throughout this week, throughout this month. Heavenly Father, let this not be a video that is wasted. Let it not this seed that I'm about to just plant right now. Let it not go off of ground that's concrete. No, let it plant. Let this thing grow. Father, let this seed produce increase right now, heavenly father. Lord, I pray that they don't just hear the physical, but they hear the spiritual inhati.
Father, I pray that they don't just hear the physical, but they hear the spiritual meat of what I'm about to present to them today. Heavenly Father, Lord, I ask that you would use me right here, right now. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. My leader, I love you and I hope that you love me back. And in any case that you don't love love me, you know who loves you more than I do? Jesus Christ.
And today, he loves you so much that what he impressed on me as I was out here for a little bit asking the Lord, what would you have me speak to your leader? What he showed me is that many of us right now that's watching this video, we are looking for a source of substance. And the source of substance that we're looking for is something that's going to bring us nourishment, something that's going to bring us fulfillment. You're looking to be fulfilled, my leader. And so now that you're out here looking to be fulfilled, you're going to different places. You're doing different things, right? You're moving. You're shaking.
You're a go-getter. You're an achiever. You're watching this video. Many of you all are achievers. Y'all want to push forward. Y'all want to run through brick walls. That's you. You're a phenomenal individual. You're the person that people often come to when they need advice. You're the one that most likely has sound wisdom. You be pouring into people. So now you're watching this video today. You're like, "Lord, I need to be poured into myself. I need to be poured into." So you've been down this journey and now that you're on this journey, you feeling a little bit tired right now, my leaders.
This message specifically is for those leaders that are weary right now. You're tired. You need to sit down and you're like, "I just need a break right now. I need a break. And while I'm taking this break, Lord, I need you to fill me up. I need you to fill me up. I don't just want to take a break, Lord. I need you to just fill me up. Fill me up so I can get back out there. And you've been asking this for a while. How do I not grow weary? My leader, that's today's message.
If this is you, please stay tuned to the end of this video because I need you to understand something right here, right now. I've been in the book of John and this message resonates because this in the book of John chapter 4. The book of John chapter 4 is a story you Bible readers may know and it's the story story where we're at Jacob's well. Jesus has went on this journey so far and when he gets to Samaria, this is where it tells us very specifically that Jesus actually gets tired. Okay. In verse 6 of chapter 4, now Jacob's well was there.
Jesus therefore being wearied with his journey sat thus on the well and it was about the sixth hour. Now his disciples went off into Samaria to get some food. Verse six, we see a Jesus that was weary because of his what? his journey. Jesus relates to us so much because he was in flesh and he could relate to our humanity in flesh. He understood how we do get tired and we do get weary. And so as he's ministering to the Samaritan woman, this video is not about the Samaritan woman. I got another video I'm going to do on this. It's simply about being weary.
As even though he's weary, he's still ministering on to this woman. the Samaritan woman. The Samaritan woman believes on the name of Jesus Christ and gets saved. And what happens is that this is the part that I'm I'm interested in talking about today is that his disciples come back from the city and they got food. Now, and in chapter 4, okay? And we start on verse 6, it says, "Then they went out of the city and came unto him." This is his disciple.
"In the meanwhile," uhoh, verse 31, "In the meanwhile, his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat." eat." But he said unto them, "I have meat to eat that you know not of." Wait a minute. He said to his disciples, "I have meat to eat that you do not know of." And his disciples in verse 33 said, "Therefore said the disciples one to another, had any man brought him out to eat?" eat?" there. They went to the city and Jesus was weary. Hey, they about to feed themselves and they gonna feed Jesus. They come back and Jesus talking about he he ate. Who gave you this food? Jesus.
What meat are you talking about? We didn't see no. The reason we went to the city cuz we a we ain't see no meat. What meat are you talking about? I I don't know what you're talking about. And here's what Jesus says. He says in verse 34, Jesus said unto them, "My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish the work." Hallelujah. To finish the work, my leaders, this message today is titled Finish the Work.
See, as I'm reading this, it impacted me so much this month, especially the month of April, because there's so much things that in the world I understand needs to be taken care of. And because of this, there are times where I find myself doing so many other things other than the will of the one that sent me. What does that mean? Jesus Christ is telling the disciples right now that, hey, listen, this meat, this source of substance, what is meat? Meat is something that when you partake of meat, it nourishes the body. It nourishes the flesh. It gives you strength. It gives you power. Okay?
If I'm on a long journey and I haven't eaten, I'mma grow weary. But the idea is that when I get food and when I get meat and when I eat that thing, I got the energy I need to keep going at. All right? I got the energy I need to go down the next. I got the energy I need to do this now. I got the energy I need to do this now. But what happens when you don't have meat? Jesus is saying something very specific. the nourishment that he gets that you would think is on par with meat.
But even better is the fact that hey, when I'm doing the will of him that sent me, I'm I'm nourished all the time. When I'm ministering to individuals that I'm supposed to minister to and I'm feeding them the word of truth. Hallelujah. And I and I'm sowing and I'm also reaping and bringing them to Christ. Hey, I'm doing the will of him that sent me. How do what do we know about Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ, the work that he was called to finish was to glorify the father. And check this out.
When Jesus Christ finishes the work of glorifying the father and he's nailed to the cross and he dies, okay? And he's risen on the third day with over 400 witnesses witnessing the same thing. the risen king. His finished work, check this out, allows you and I through just the belief in Jesus Christ, confessing with our mouth and believing in our heart that God rose from the dead, our belief now, our faith in Christ allows us to have salvation. He gave us the gift of salvation. His finished work gave us the gift of salvation. And then also, what do we get? We get the Holy Ghost.
If Jesus Christ came just to do the will of the father and not finish the actual work, I don't get my reward. And what the Holy Ghost has been reminding me, Michael, Michael, check this out. I know you got all these things that you want to do, but I'm not going to have you start things, start this, start that, start this, start that, and you not finishing nothing. Prime example. Years ago, I was called to finish my book. Pick up your calling is calling fake principles for overcoming depression. I was supposed to finish the book years ago, but because of ah man, I don't know if I'm ready yet, God.
This thing got to be perfect. It got to look like some of my favorite authors. That's the worst part. Comparison is the worst thing. It got to look like some of my favorite authors, guy. Um Oh, man. Look, I don't even have the money to do this the right way. To send it off to this person, send it off to that. I I'm trying to do all this thing perfect. And in the midst of that, because I have yet to finish the work, I can't put the book out. And my book is to help people who are battling with depression.
And the book is also to help people who are lost and don't know Jesus Christ. And my book is also here to encourage those who are in the faith and to help deepen their faith. What do you mean? If I don't finish that work, the people I'm called to bless, they can't get get blessed. That book is going to plant seeds somewhere. That book is also going to reap. It's going to help some people come to Jesus Christ. And if I don't finish the work, how can they be saved? It ain't me writing the book.
If the Holy Ghost using me to write the book, because this thing that I got to work on, that I got to write, it's gonna bless so many people, not out of my strength, but by the strength of God. It's going to have favor on it. It's going to have a type of favor when somebody going to pick it up and that's the thing that they needed. See, finish the work.
What the Lord have been reminding me is, hey, I know you're starving, but Michael, one of the biggest things I need you to do is to remember your true source of feeling fulfillment is to do the will of the father that's my watching this video today. Everybody that's born, okay, you're a bornag again individual. If you haven't given your life to Christ, I I I implore you, it's the greatest decision ever make in your life. My leaders, you as you lean on Christ and as we lean on the Holy Ghost, Father, not my will, but let your will be done. There is a will God has for you.
And there are things where if you've been feel feeling weary this season, let me talk to the weary weary folks. It's simply because of this. You haven't been doing the true thing that God is calling you to do. It don't mean that when you're doing the true thing that God is calling you to do, you're not going to grow weary. Yes, you still may feel a little a little tired, but this is for those who are weary, feeling like, "What's next? What am I supposed to be doing? Why do I feel stuck right now? Hey, my leader, the first requirement, let me tell you this, is to now stop moving.
Stop doing all this extra stuff that you're doing and first sit at the feet of Jesus Christ. There's a story in the word that talks about how Mary and Martha and how Martha when Jesus Christ was in their home, Martha was cumbered about just trying to trying to serve Jesus, just moving, moving, moving. But Mary was the one that was sitting at his feet, hearing the word, hearing his revelation, enjoying intimacy with Jesus Christ. And when we're weary, right, and when we fail to finish the work, God is calling us into deeper intimacy with him.
Because as we get into deeper intimacy like Mary did, what we start to hear is more of his revelation. We start to hear more of his will. Jesus Christ said, "I only do what I see the father do." And every single time, I got to talk about myself right now. Every single time I'm caught up in doing what God wants me to do, I am fulfilled in a way that makes absolutely no sense. especially days when I'm fasting.
Those days when I'm fasting, my leaders, this is a great example because Jesus Christ also says in the time where he's being tempted by the devil, he says, "Man does not survive off of bread alone, but by every word that comes and proceeded out of the mouth of God." Meaning that bread, what is bread again? Bread is the same idea in John 4 of what the disciples were coming back to feed Jesus Christ. And it's the same principle. I don't just survive off of the food and the things of this world.
I survive off of every word that comes out of the mouth of God in my when I'm doing my fast. I realize a few different things. One is that if I'm just fasting and if I'm just sitting there not doing nothing or if I'm fasting and I'm not doing what God is really calling me to do that day, the fast ain't going to be a good fast. It's going to be painful. I'm going to be feeling the pain of not eating.
But when I'm doing the will of the father and I'm and I'm praying and I'm meditating on my scripture and I and I'm out serving the community, praying for somebody, nourishing somebody, planting seeds, trying to reap, I'm feeling good. Matter of fact, those are the days where I'm really doing the will of the father. I can go from 24 hours. I can go for 24 hours and I find myself thinking like, dang, Lord, what you're saying is true. We don't survive just on bread alone. We do survive off of every word that comes out of the mouth of God. And I'm realizing, dang, I'm not weary.
So on days where I'm not fasting, I'm praying to God, hey Lord, how can I do your will? On the days where, hey, I want to move with haste. And there's things in the world that I I think I need and I've been focusing on things too much. And I'm starting to notice what I've been missing in my life. Like for example, one of the things I want right now and I'm praying. I'm like, "Lord, I need a new MacBook. I I really want that new MacBook M4." Oh my gosh. If y'all love me, donate a MacBook M4. I want a MacBook M4. Either the Pro or the MacBook Air.
Regardless, I need a new computer. My computer is just straight up jacked up. And I need it for editing. I need it for photography work. And and I remember last month I found found myself focusing so hard on the fact that I needed a MacBook. I mean, I was online hours and hours of the day looking at reviews of MacBook Pros, looking at influencers talking about MacBooks, looking at tech reviews, searching on Amazon. I got I got lost in that world. I got so lost that I began to become sad that I could not at the moment afford this MacBook. And I found myself just seeking. I found myself sinking.
And matter of fact, I found myself growing weary. Think about it. I'm growing weary just to offer what I'm focusing on. And the Lord had to smack me in the spirit. Say, John, hey, Matthew 6:32, even the Gentiles seek those things. I know that you have need of these things, but the word says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto thee." That's a whole another message. My leaders, if you have been feeling weary, let's follow the example of Jesus Christ and let's find out how we can serve.
One of the things about having the spirit of Christ is always going to prompt you and propel you forward to serving serving people. I know you're tired. I know you're lost. Some of y'all, I know you feeling feeling stuck, but let me tell you something. Many of you all have the answers. I had the answers on how to get out of my weariness. It's always there. Hey, Mike, what have I told you to do? What have I had you write down in those journals? What did I speak to you when you were praying the other night? What what did I tell you to do while you were fasting?
What have I been showing you in your scriptures? Have you done it yet? Or have you been so focused, Michael, on what you want to do? on what you want to finish, on what you trying to obtain. My ladies, if today you hear the Lord speaking to you about things that you got to do to be in service for him or to just be still and remain at his feet so that he can give you your next assignment, do it. Many of you are watching this video. I guarantee you have something that God has been telling you to do and it has something to do with service.
Who wants you to serve? There's somebody at the well right now and they're looking for they're looking for a different source other than Jesus. He's causing you to sew some seeds and reap. There's people right now that are weary right now and they need you to speak life into them. They need you to pray for them. They need you to encourage them. They need you to do that. And I guarantee my leaders, if you take it yourself and you say, you know, God, I know I'm weary right now, but I know there's somebody that's more weary than me because they'll have you in their life.
I know, I know I feel a little stuck and lost, but I know I got the road map. Hallelujah. I know how to get back into this space. If that's you, my leaders, I guarantee you if you read John John 4 and you begin to meditate on John 4, not my words. Go to God about John 4. Pray about John 4. See if this word is for you. And I guarantee you if you do that and you take the principles from John 4 and what the Lord is telling you to do and the actions that we see Jesus Christ, our risen king doing, I guarantee your life will be changed.
Not because of my word, but because of his word. My leaders, heavenly father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, I just come to you today and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for the life of this leader that's watching this video today. Father, I don't know where they are right now, but I'm praying that you will begin to cover them. I don't know where they're feeling weary at or why they begun to feel weary, Lord God, but I'm praying that you would shower them with your presence and you would shower them with your love.
And I rebuke this spirit that wants them to be stuck, heavenly father. I rebuke this spirit that wants them to be lost. Heavenly Father, I rebuke the spirit that wants them to procrastinate. Heavenly Father, we rebuke procrastination today in the name of Jesus. Heavenly Father, Lord God, I pray that you ignite them in a space where they begin to serve. I don't know who they got to serve. I don't know who they're called to serve, Lord, but let them serve. Let them pray for folks. Hallelujah. Lord God, and as they begin to minister to individuals, Lord, put a joy in their spirit. Hallelujah.
As they begin to minister to individuals, put an energy in their body. Hallelujah. Fill them up with the Holy Ghost, the strength of the Lord. Let them have the joy of the Lord and let it be their strength. Heavenly Father God, I'm praying right now, Lord, as they let go of their own problems and they begin to find problems to serve for other people that you begin to give them a new strategy of purpose, a new clarity and direction. Heavenly Father, this will be the last day where this weariness continues.
Father, if they've been going to worldly things, Lord, to try to get the fix of how to get out of this weariness, Father, I rebuke it right now. Lord, lead them back into the right space. Father, your word says weary not in welloing. Lord, let them keep doing the things that you called them to do. Father Jesus Christ, they asked them, Lord God, where did this meat come from? What is this meat that we don't know of? He said that his meat is to do the will of the father and to finish the work.
Father God, I'm praying today that this leader under the sound of my voice is convicted enough to begin to finish the work in Jesus name. Lord, let them finish the work. Let them finish the assignment, Lord God. Let them not get halfway and stop. No, no, no. That's not what we doing today. Lord, let them keep moving forward. They got an assignment and it got to be finished in Jesus name. Lord, somebody's about to be delivered because they finished the assignment. Even themselves, they're going to find their journey and they path because they finished the assignment, Lord God. So, we're praying today that Lord, this weariness be lifted lifted off.
Hallelujah. [Laughter] [Laughter] weariness you be lifted off of this leader today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. My leaders, the meat this season for you to get off of that weariness is to do the will of the father that sent you here on this planet earth to begin with and to finish his work. I love y'all. Yeah.
