God Is Raising You Up To Deliver His People | Judges 3 Breakdown & Bible Study

my my leaders yo thank you for joining me in my humble AB Bo today I got a special word for you you God God is Raising you up that was dramatic wasn't wasn't it that was dramatic God is Raising you up up listen today's message is for the individual who feels like man I'm going in Cycles I'm good following God that I'm kind of not good and I'm really backsliding but then I'm good again with God I'm kind of not good backsliding and the cycle continues there a cycle going on there's a cycle going on there's a cycle and because you experienced this cycle once again again like a few

videos I I mentioned before you feel like man is is God using me can I be used you know what I mean and I want to share with you something in the Book of Judges stay with me please because I need you to hear this God is Raising you up so that you talking to you right now can deliver his people I'mma say that again God is raised ing you up so that you you may be the first in your generation you may be the first in your your family he's raising you up so that you can deliver his people and he's going to use you in a special way

he's going to use you in a mighty way but also he's going to use you in an unconventional way okay today I want us to pray and before we begin praying I want y open up to the Book of Judges we're going to go into chapter 3 I'm going to give us a quick summary of what we're at and how we got to this point in Judges chapter 3 then I'm going to read the text and I'm going to point a few things that the Lord wants me to point out that he revealed to me today that's going to connect with you okay so without further Ado my leaders let's

pray heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ father I ask that you will go before us right now Lord I'm with your leader and as we're here we're just here first and foremost to glorify you give you the honor give you the praise give you the worship Lord Lord we're surrendering our time right now so that we can be fed by the word your word say that we don't live off for bread only but by every word that comes out of the word of God father I just pray for this leader I pray for their Spirits I pray for their mind right now Lord I even pray for

anything that they been doing that have gone against your will we I Repent they repent we repent right now Lord and we just ask for your forgiveness wash us clean Lord God father you died for our sins and we just thank you for the blood Heavenly Father we thank you for the blood Jesus Christ that you shed for Sinners Like ourselves making us hes to an inheritance Lord God that we will one day get to dwell in and see and so father Lord we just want to say thank you Father thank you for this word today thank you for this seed that you're about to plant in the lives of

these individuals Lord just use me today in a mighty way Heavenly Father lessen me more you allow the Holy Spirit to speak through me Lord God and I pray that after this message after this message in Jesus name somebody going to be set free Lord I'm praying for a Deliverance right now I'm praying for a Deliverance of somebody watching this video right now that something breaks that they get a fresh Revelation Jesus Christ Revelation can only come from you heavenly father so Lord use your word to pour out a fresh word for this leader right now so that they can walk boldly this week this month this year if they're

watching this video right now they were meant to watch this video today so Lord we thank you we love you and it's in Jesus mighty name that we pray amen amen my leaders today I'm sitting here thinking that man I was going to speak about something totally different but the Lord led me to do a continuation of my my reading last month I was reading a lot about I was reading the whole book of Joshua okay and Joshua his name in Hebrew means who is like Yahweh okay who is like God and what was so interesting in that book was Moses dies dies and Joshua becomes the successor of Moses

so Joshua immediately becomes the spiritual leader but also the military leader as well for the children of isra Israel okay and things are going fine and Danel because Joshua is a man after God's heart as well too he's following the Lord the Lord's hand is on him but there's a few things that happened within his camp that every now and then they start losing a few different battles okay but ultimately what ends up happening is Joshua goes on a great Conquest in the Promised Land and they're literally slaying and defeating King after king after king after King it was reported about 31 Kings slaughtered their land and their territory taken

why because the Lord revealed to Moses that when I give you this land and when I give you your inheritance I don't need you to make a covenant with these people in this land They don't serve me they serve other gods and so I don't want you to take their daughters to Mary I don't want you to take their sons to Mary I want you to completely and utterly destroy these kingdoms okay this will be similar to like spiritual warfare God don't want you making a covenant with the devil you know he wants you to completely destroy the Devil that's how these people were seeing in the eyes of God

so that's what Joshua did he did as the Lord revealed to him he went out and literally they're conquering kingdoms kingdoms that the Bible says my leaders are way greater in mightier than the children of Israel even some like the anakims who are the Giants you know what I mean we think about um Goliath but man it was a whole society of goliaths you know and so it's powerful to see how God used Joshua now Joshua divides The Inheritance he divides the spoil amongst the tribes of Israel and in the Book of Judges now we're going to see that Joshua is 110 years old and Joshua passes away his time

on this Earth is done so now judges starts with a new generation a new generation and it's important that I open up like this because Joshua starts with a new generation of children of Israel who they didn't see the miracle of The Parting of the Red Sea when Moses was alive they didn't see the miracle of The Parting of the Jordan where they once again got part of that they walked over the Jordan left memorials so that this new generation can see what the Lord has done they didn't see the great conquest of Joshua how they were going into these kingdoms God giving them Divine strategies like how to break

down the wall of Jericho how to conquer the the battle at AI right they didn't see these great kings that that feared God being slayed they didn't see the hand in the miraculous move and work of God so now what happens they get into this land now and there's still so much land to be conquered for the children of Israel but what you're going to see in the Book of Judges is that if you go to judges 2 you're going to see in judges 2 that they literally could not conquer the enemy they wouldn't completely completely destroy the enemy so what did they end up doing you keep you keep

seeing it you see in verse 29 of Judges 1:29 neither did ephra drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in gazar verse 30 neither did zebulun drive out the inhabitants of KRON verse 31 neither did Asher drive out the inhabitants so you keep seeing this and in Chapter 2 if you read verse two and it says and ye shall make no league with the inhabitant of this land you shall throw down their altars but you have not obeyed my voice why have you done this verse three of chapter 2 judges where therefore I also said I will not drive them out before you but they shall be as thorns in your

side and their gods shall be a snare unto you you so the angel of the Lord is telling you all children of Israel if you don't drive these people out and you make covenants with them this is what it cause not to be unequally yolked with unbelievers whatever they ser serve which is definitely not me because you're yolked with them now you've made covenants with them now you're going to begin to serve other gods I'm a jealous God as we know God is there should be no other God before him but this is what happens in chapter 2 and when we keep going down let's read they start serving um

ba l g got they start serving ashat ashot is a a goddess of fertility in other words also like a Sex God okay this is where we get this lustful Spirit from this goes even deeper than that and they start to become manipulated and they start to become become suede so now check this out here we are at at Judges chapter 3 okay and I'm going to read read this in Judges chapter 3 if you start on verse 5 I'm reading out of the KJV version it says and the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites the Hittites amorites perizzites hites and the the jebusites okay verse six and they

took their daughters to be their wives and gave their daughter daughters to their sons and serve their gods that's nasty what do we just see that the Lord told him not to do was to take take daughters to marry in these don't marry these these individuals okay because it was going to lead you astray and so because of this in verse 7 it says and the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and forgot the Lord their God and serve balum in the Groves The Groves you can also say fertility goddess asot verse 8 therefore the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel and he

sold them into the hands of kusan rash King of the Mesopotamia and the children of Israel serve kusan 8 years years so the children of Israel in in judges because they forgot the god that they serve the God that was keeping them delivered they completely now are serving a whole another God and now they're in captivity under this King for eight eight years and it reminded me to just stop and say that when we forget God at any point in time that we really just we close our eyes and we turn our eyes towards God we got to realize that we have the ability to be stuck in some type

of bondage some bondage to some addiction some principality something that has a hold on on us something that is not going to feel good you're not going to have your peace cuz that's what happens when we take our mind off of God the word says that those who keep their mind on deep will experience perfect peace we start serving other gods that peace is going to be stripped from us and we're going to be trying to look for all these other things to try to get our peace I need to sleep with individuals I need to drink this thing to get my peace away I need to smoke this thing

to get my peace back right I need to watch this thing to get my peace back I need to do all the other things to get my peace back but we're not thinking about focusing on God and so I'mma read this verse before I continue on in uh remember we're in judges Judges chapter 2 verse 10 and it said and also that the generations were gathered unto their fathers and there arose another generation after them which knew not the Lord nor yet The Works which he had done for Israel okay so this is just some context as to why they begin to serve other gods they didn't have a strong

foundation in understanding just how Mighty God was the god that they serve The God Who was actually for them waiting for them to worship Him waiting for waiting for them to cry out to him this next Generation remember this is the emphasis on the Next Generation this next Generation just did not know you may be strong in your faith but if because You' seen what God has done for you but if you know anybody who's of the Next Next Generation you may realize dang why they Faith ain't as strong as it needs to be they just haven't had an encounter they just haven't had an experience so what does God

do because Joshua their leader is dead dead he raises up judges okay and in chapter three we're going to see three judges that God raises up and I'm going to show you in the text see oil Eden okay and shamgar and why did he raise these people up these judges were sent out to deliver the children of Israel they're like a um they're like a a preist all right they represented a Christlike figure these judges because they were here why did Jesus come God sent his only begotten son to die for you and our sins okay so that we may have eternal life life salvation so that we will have

power and authority over sin so we would have a right relationship with God the Father Father okay so what we're going to see is is this in verse 9 of Judges chapter 3 it says and when the children of Israel Cried unto the Lord the Lord raised up deliverer to the children of Israel who delivered them even oil the son of kenas Caleb's younger brother so God is such a merciful graceful God that now when the children of Israel they cry out to him God ah Lord Lord please we know we've committed this sin but Lord please it's been eight years we don't want to be in captivity no no

more we don't want to be lost wandering no no more we don't want to go towards this torturous Wicked experience no more Lord please please please God please deliver us they in tears it's like when we sin I know whenever I sin and I do something I'm not supposed to do and I got to go to God and I'm repenting I got a contrite heart while I'm crying I'm in tears and I'm like God I need you to deliver me from this Lord please forgive me Father I repent for my sin them crying out to God is a a posture of repentance and an acknowledgement that God we need you

so God instead of it's a question I had to ask say okay now that God he he raised raised a judge like he raised somebody up I thought to myself okay why didn't he just do it himself God is omnipotent he's Almighty he could have just literally out of nowhere wiped Everything clean but God in his strategy raises somebody somebody up which is the title of this message God is Raising you up he raises the first judge is oat Neal almost sounds like oatmeal he raises oil whose name in the Hebrew means god God's lion or the strength of God think about who was God's li who was the lion

of Judah it's almost like a play on words here that's Jesus Christ as the lion of Judah the first judge is symbolic to that I'm going to raise up a lion who's like a man of war and what does he do how does he conquer how does he deliver the people check this out verse 10 it said and the spirit of the Lord came upon him and he judged Israel and went out to War and the Lord delivered delivered kusan kusan rhat king of Mesopotamia into their hand think about that and his hand prevailed against kusan so the spirit of the Lord when Jesus Christ get get baptized in the

Water by John the Baptist the Holy Spirit came to meet Christ Christ was filled with the Holy Spirit and then set off into the Wilderness that Holy Spirit was to give power so O'Neal was not moving out of his own flesh now when the time was right the spirit of the Lord came upon him and when the spirit of the Lord came upon him only then was he able to go to war and be victorious when the spirit comes upon us and we're surrendered to the Holy Ghost which Jesus Christ gave you and I after he went away to be with the father he said I'm going to send the

helper that helper gives us power and it gives us us authority to be victorious in places that the flesh simply cannot be victorious in just impossible O'Neal has the holy spirit this is Old Testament now we seeing the Holy Spirit come upon somebody this is good good stuff and what happened they had rest in the land for 40 years my God now unfortunately what did I say in the beginning of this video ever feel like you're following God and then you're kind of not and then you're really not and then you're following God again this is the story of the children of Israel at this point after 40 Years of

rest odneal perishes he dies and after he dies check this out the children of isra Israel go back to Boom backsliding doing evil before the Lord's eyes eyes okay so what did the Lord the Lord did this he strengthened Eon the king of the Moab against Israel because they had done evil in the sight of the Lord that's verse 12 so here it is new king this new enemy this new stronghold God is actually giv the enemy favor to Humble the children of Israel how is that and the Captivity that they were in for eight years on the old enemy in this new new enemy check this out they're in

captivity for 18 years in the New Testament we hear that when we get delivered and the enemy flees from us the the demon what happens to the demon when a demon goes out tearing and comes back to that same vessel he doesn't come back alone that enemy comes back with seven more more demons demons stronger more ruthless than the first one so here goes 18 this number 18 now 10 more years of this captivity than they had last time it's bad but God is going to also raise another leader up in this captivity it's crazy cuz it's sad but it's often times until we're in captivity a lot of times

we don't we don't cry out to God like we should we don't seek him like we should until we're going through something it's unfortunate but this is something that's biblical it's sad and I believe we have stories like this to remind us to seek ye the kingdom of God every single day repent every single day but never forget the Lord God because once again you may fall into a stronghold that at its beginning stages you even recognize it's a a stronghold right or you just may be given to it because now that stronghold it's called a stronghold for a reason it got Aon hold on you and you trying to

get out of this thing without God you can't get out of let me tell you this let me tell you this you and I cannot get out of any stronghold without the power of the Holy Spirit the flesh does not want to get out of a stronghold the the flesh is wicked Above All Else and does not make a great leader the word says in the New Testament to have no confidence in the flesh like no confidence in it it is the beautiful Temple that we house the Holy Spirit but also it needs to be led by the Holy Spirit and so these strongholds the only way for us to

conquer is to be submitted surrendered to Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to do what only the Holy Spirit could do so what does God do now God raises a new leader he raises an assassin we got games like Assassin's Creed all these assassin video games out here assassins been in the Bible spies been in the Bible God raises an assassin his name is let's go to to verse ahud verse 16 well verse 15 you'll find out once again that the children of Israel Cried unto the Lord the Lord raised them up and deliver ahud the son of Gara a benjamite a man left-handed and by him the children of

Israel sent a present unto eigan the king of Moab but Ehud made a dagger which had two edges of a cubit length and he did g it under his reignment of upon his right thigh and he brought the present unto iglon king of Moab and Eon was a very fat man and when he had made an end to offer the present he sent away the people that bear the present but he himself turned again from the queries that were by gilgal and said I have a secret errand unto thee Oh King who said Keep silence and all that stood by him went out from him and eood came unto him

and he was sitting in a summer parlor a summer parlor was a room that was at the top of a building that was almost like a sun room it had windows open the sunlight can get in and that's where you find find eood eood alone with the King and as he's there with the king of the moabs eigan there's a dagger that's strapped to his right thigh he's left-handed delivers the present unto the the king takes that dagger cuz they're alone now and literally the Bible says he does this verse 21 and Ehud put forth his left hand and took the dagger from his right thigh and thrust it into

his belly and the half so the half is the the blade handle okay also went in after the blade and the fat closed up the blade so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly and the dirt came out so then Ehud he went forth through the porch he shut the doors of the Parlor upon him and locked him so he takes the dagger and the whole dagger even a handle is now inside the belly of iglon the king who is now bleeding out and has been been assassinated okay he's assassinated eood gets his butt up out of of there and they make a signal to the

children of Israel to now they blew a trumpet in verse 27 in the mountain of Ephraim and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount and he before them so they go back into this place and they take the land of the moabites they start Conquering the land they have favor now to conquer the land again no more captivity no more okay but this is all led by a deliverer by a savior a hood it's a beautiful thing God is Raising you up and after they get delivered my leaders it's 80 years now 80 years of rest they get a double portion of what they had last

time 80 and one more individual now God sends out out okay this individual's name is shamgar if you go to verse 31 it says and after him was shamgar the son of ani which slew of the Philistines 600 men with an ox goad and he also delivered Israel shamard is a type of Christ as well well too he's a type of Savior an example and a representation of Christ shamar's name one of the meanings is sword God sent and raised up a sword another word another way the Bible symbolizes and uses the word sword what does that sword mean it also represents the word of God we know in the

New Testament the sword is the word of God that's beautiful poetry that the Bible is using right now so Shamu guard's name is sword and this guy would deliver the children of Israel using an ox goad an ox goad my leaders to take out 600 Philistines with an ox goad is divine favor it was a farming tool a wooden tool with a sharp end that was used to control the herd to tend to the animals all right to direct the ax it wasn't used for fighting Wars or fighting battles the ox goad would be a representation of what the slingshot is to Goliath it was something unconventional that God's favor

and honor and and power was on his anointing was on that o goad his anointing first and foremost on sorry shamgar but also God gives you an instrument as well too he he anoints that thing so that when you use it you'll be able to do what other people can't can't do when David went to go out to Goliath he didn't take a shield he didn't take one of the the swords that have probably been sharpened to the te could slice through anything he didn't take any of these these weapons he took the weapon that God had him take shamgar the sword took and Ox goad to deliver the Philistine

the people of Israel from the Philistines that's that's powerful made me realize okay what has God also as he's raising me up as he's raising you up what is he going to have you use that may be in your surrounding that you may have right now that you may have been using your whole life that you may just be you may it just may be something that's around you what if he have you using to deliver the people that you're supposed to deliver my leaders leaders ahood oat Neil shamgar all represent judges of Israel that God literally raised up to deliver his people my Ladi if you're watching this video

right now here's the deal okay God is Raising you up you're here for a reason and although you may feel like man ah it's a psych on following God go um then I ain't following him then I'm in this cycle understand that if he's raising up a child you and I he understands that we are all going to fall short of the glory of God okay we're going to fall short but his expectation is that we don't turn to worshiping other gods and forget about him it's about the posture of repenting turning from our ways diligently seeking Christ because we can't go out in the world and try to clean

ourselves and then come to Christ no no no we got to just come to Christ broken crying dirty how we are so that he can cleans us and while we're coming to God he's going to use you he's going to use you regardless and you want to be used I need to be used by God because it gives me it gives me an active duty it gives me active assignment it gives me participation in this walk with God I feel like his helper and rightfully so I am and you are where his hands where his feet what he did for odneal where the spirit of the Lord came upon him

through the death of Jesus Jesus Christ those of you who have been born again baptized in the name of the father Son and the Holy Ghost and have receive the Holy Spirit you have that same power within you you have the Holy Ghost you have the spirit of the Lord dwelling with inside of you waiting for you and I to submit so that we can do the father's perfect will with power and with authority and it's not about us feeling like we're doing it perfectly but just doing it willingly because it says the flesh is weak but the spirit is willing I I get on these videos and all the

time I don't feel like y'all it may be the most perfect message in the world right from a fleshly standard but I do know from an obedient standard it's perfect enough somebody's going to connect with this message that needs to connect with even if it's one sheep and it's going to help somebody so I don't have to try to be perfect in these videos I just got to share what the Lord wants me to share and give it to you so that you can receive this word this may be a word that truly does something phenomenal for you I know it's done it for me so who am I to

hold back he's raising me up so I could eventually become what he wants me to become but he's raising me up first and foremost so I can what deliver deliver his people that's what the Holy Spirit testifies of the work of Christ Jesus that liter the word says has come to heal the brokenhearted heal the blind heal the Lost he's our savior Jesus name actually means means salvation tell my leaders my my encouragement for you today is if if you have not received Jesus Christ as your lord and your savior or you feel as though hey I've just been backsliding and I I haven't even been turning towards God I've

been turning the other way and you feel like you're in bondage or string hold hey today right now confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and just believe in your heart that God Rose Jesus from the dead and your sins are forgiven we receive Jesus Christ by faith not in walk doing a s-day streak of trying to cleanse Yourself by yourself going a month with not cursing you know what I mean or slapping somebody up inside of the head we don't receive Jesus Christ by these works we are Justified according to Galatians by our faith it's just making that confession hey right now as I'm watching this video Jesus you

are my Lord You Are My Savior I admit I've done wrong Lord and I admit that I need you as my Messiah I need you as my savior Lord come into my heart lead me today I believe that God Rose you from the dead and that you died for my sins the sins I've committed today the sin I committed yesterday the sin that I I I can never hold do you you died even for me to to begin to forgive myself I haven't been able to forgive myself Jesus you died for me that's what you did you died for all these wrongs that I did you became the curse on

that tree for me so God I thank you and I repent for my sin and I turn from my ways I turn from worshiping other gods I turn from worshiping the drugs I turn from worshiping the the idols I turn from it and I receive you as my Lord and my savior today my if you would just do that and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord the Bible says that you are literally born again you are born again you are now going to start becoming a new creation in Christ because let me tell you something God allowed you to come into this world world because you have an

assignment he allowed you to come into this world he allowed me to come into this world because I'm an answer to somebody's cry I need you to get this you you are an answer to somebody's cries so God heard your cries like he did the children of Israel and he's raising and yeah the story in this chapter just talks about three individuals but we're going to see more judges we're going to see more judges and it's such a miraculous work that God is doing in this day and age because he's raising so many why is he raising so many because the kingdom of darkness there's so many of them so

God I repent and I'm not perfect I'll admit Lord God but father if you would just give me another chance Lord and just continuously work with me work with me the way I am strengthen me give me power God lead me I need a leader in my life and I need you your word says that the Lord is my shepherd that means you are our pastor you're the ultimate Pastor heavenly father so Lord we need you as our pastor I need you as my shepherd I need you Lord God we're crying out to you yes Lord work in my life right now work in this Leader's life and move us

towards your glory Heavenly Father Lord allow us to feel convicted when we're not spending too much time with you God let us Focus back on you show us the things that are distracting us show us the stuff that are moving us away from you Lord father we need you we need your help we need your guidance God we can't do this without you heavenly father so Lord we thank you we thank you for hearing our cries we thank you for answering our prayers we thank you for the gift of the Holy Ghost L we thank you that you sent your only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for my sins

Lord we thank you Heavenly Father we are Unworthy of it God but we thank you for your grace and we thank you for your mercy Heavenly Father Lord we thank you that you love us so much God and there's nothing that we can do to really earn that love back but to serve you and to worship you and to honor you God so Lord I rebuke the spirit of balum I rebuke the spirit of ashat I rebuke demonic spirits right now that have tried to enter my leader today I rebuke those spirits and we cast them to hell right now in the name of Jesus Lord God and we uplift

the name of Jesus in which every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord in Jesus name Hallelujah God I can feel your presence and I can feel your spirit Hallelujah I can feel a fresh anointing Hallelujah falling down right now to bless your leader that's watching this video or just listening Hallelujah bless this leader God move their life Lord shake some things up in the name of Jesus freedom from the sin Lord God freedom from the addiction in the name of Jesus fre freedom from the stronghold in Jesus name Lord I declare and I decree there's been a release there's a release right now God
