Hold Tight to God’s Promise: How Caleb Overcame Fear and Giants

my my leaders yo thank you all for joining me here here today today I got a very specific assignment right now and I need to tell you off the gate to hold tight to God's promises I'm speaking directly to you I don't know who you are I don't know where you are but I need you to hold hold tight on to God's promises and I got to start this video off like this because I just been hearing a lot of different different news and all this different news that I've been hearing towards my Believers things that folks are experiencing they're seeing it they're experiencing it they're feeling it and what

is causing folks to do right now the devil wants to put fear inside them the Devil Wants to put fear inside you he wants to manipulate he wants to put doubt he wants to say see I told you so I told you so I told you you should never done that I told you you should have never began that I Told You So and today was on my heart was on my spirit right now very passionately is to tell you hold on tight to God's promises and the Lord led me to scriptures today out of a phenomenal man of Fai by the name of Caleb I'm going to read scripture

I'm going to share with you what he did okay and how he moved and how we ought to move just like Caleb did right he showcased showcased Christlike spirit in moving forward in a very real reality of him possibly needing to be scared he should have been afraid he should have had fear he did not okay he did not so I want to begin this with prayer those who don't know me my name is Mike ja on your Cham I'm a certified life coach I'm your internet Pastor all right and I just love to Shepherd I love to pour into others that's just what God has called me to do

until the day that he calls me home okay so if you can with me let's pray Hallelujah heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord we give you all the glory we give you all the praise and the honor right now in your son Jesus name father we thank you for this time we thank you for this hour Lord we thank you that you love us so much that you will send your only begotten son down here to become a curse and die on the cross for a sinner like like myself Lord and we believe that he rose heavenly father he ascended sits at the right hand of

the father Lord has sent a beautiful gift this holy ghost that is the revealer of all truth and Lord I'm praying right now that the spirit of this leader will begin to be ignited today this week this month that the spirit of this leader will begin to go towards what you've called them to go towards boldly heavenly father that the spirit of this leader will begin to hold on tightly to the faith the things that you've promised them in Jesus name Hallelujah father I'm praying I cast out any fear any stronghold Lord God that has lifted itself above you Lord I cast in I bring it down right now in

jesus' name father Will you pour out your peace on this leader today will you give them a peace of mind your word says that those who keep their mind on thee will experience perfect peace God lord if their mind has been in the world Lord I pray that they put it back on you if their mind has been on their problem on their struggles I pray that after this message today Lord there's a new reignition of Faith within them today Lord they need it today not tomorrow not next week they need it at this moment they need it in this hour they need it in this space and I believe

Lord and I receive through faith that after I spit this word and they hear your words Jesus Christ and this example that there will be a peace and that there will be a healing and that there will be a lifting off off of a stronghold today Lord we will hold on to the faith the things that you've promised us Jesus Christ we will hold on tightly and not give up we will hold on tightly and not backslide or go back to our old ways we will hold on tightly today Lord God so father I pray that you would give me the words to speak on to your leader Lord Jesus

go before me right now and prepare the mind of this individual prepare their soil so that when I spit this word today it produces a 30 fold a 60 fold a hundredfold increase in Jesus name Lord God father I just want to say that we love you and we thank you and it's in your precious son Jesus mighty name that we pray pray amen amen amen amen my leader I don't know about you but there's times where when I'm looking at the reality is of my life and God has told me to move forward on the idea and to move forward on a plan it often times comes with a

a resistance in some shape form of fashion the enemy always attempts to put a resistance resistance a trial in front of me to see if I believe in the thing that God said that I should hold on tight to and I realized along this fake Journey that I'm not the only individual that experience these things from time to to time you are just like me and I am just like you and there often resistance and what I'm really realizing more and more is God revealing to me the words do you trust me my question for you right now in this moment whatever you're experiencing do you trust trust God do

you trust in your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to deliver you in this moment in this hour in this season in this year do you expect the Lord to heal you what's your expectation what's your level and measure of belief in Jesus Christ what do you think he's capable of doing how big does your giant have to be in order for you to say okay this one God is not like the last one and I know that you can not do what you did last time for this one it's just it's just too great have you gotten to that point where you're saying this one's just too great my lady

the beauty of what we're walking in is a power that comes from the Sovereign God the one that created all things and nothing could have been created unless he created it the one that is outside the realm of possibilities exist in a world that is impossible for us in this human brain to even fathom this is the god in whom we serve and what I've been reading a lot my leaders is the Book of Joshua I've been in several different areas but the Book of Joshua is where God led me about last month and I've just been reading it methodically I've been reading it slowly I've been exting the text

concordance words cross references and is such a power ful book and today we're in Joshua 14 where we get to read about an individual by the name of Caleb okay so backstory on Caleb Caleb first and foremost the biggest thing that you need to know about Caleb is that Caleb is a man of unwavering Faith Caleb was one of the 12 Spies that Moses sent out okay to spy out the land God had delivered them from Egypt we know about the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea and here we have hallelujah thank you Holy Spirit feel you here we have a Caleb who is amongst one of the leaders Moses

chose leaders out of the 12 12 tribes Caleb was amongst one of them he goes out into this land and the Moses sent him out into the land to do what he wanted to see what these people were about in this land of Canaan what do these kingdoms look like how great are these kingdoms are some of these Kingdoms in tents or are they built with strongholds Great Walls barricades were the people strong were they weak but the Bible tells us all these people in the land of Canaan which is their promised land that they're to conquer were going to be far greater than the children of Israel this is

a facts this is scripture so they go out into the land and is just as great as promised land flowing with milk and honey there's provision everywhere there's resources all over the place and there's a race of people in particular that brought a fear amongst the people in the KJV version they talk about how it it caused their hearts to melt and it was the anakims the anakims we know about the anac why do we know about the anac we don't hear too much about them but in the New Testament okay not even the New Testament in the story of David we hear about an individual Who David conquers who

you all know who you know it's Goliath all right Goliath is known as a giant with massive strength massive power somebody that you would not want to face one onone Goliath brought an immense amount of of fear fear well the anakims there's a land called Hebron where the anakims live it's their country in Hebron fun fact Hebron is the place where Sarah Abraham's wife actually dies at the age of 127 in the Book of Genesis this land is a very special place and crazy how the more special it is the more dangerous it is this land is a country filled with people that predate Goliath okay it's a country of

goli a country of anakims known as great warriors Great Mighty Mighty Men their City also was said to have strongholds like they were built onto the onto the heavens it was a Great and Mighty place that they probably it didn't look like any other spot and it brought great fear so when the people came back the spies came back all that we hear in the Bible is that there was a fear amongst the men and the spies that came back and when the spies came back to tell about what they they saw the people's heart began to melt okay but here's what Caleb had to say so before we even

open up to Joshua I'm going to have us open up to numbers Hallelujah and I'm going to have us open up to numbers uh chapter 13 chapter 13 is where you can read about Moses sending out the 12 Spies read that whole chapter to get the context I want to paraphrase to save us some time for this video I thank y'all for staying with me but if you go all the way to 13 okay and if we first first read vers uh 27 this is when the people came back and it says in 1327 and and I'm reading out of the KJV so my may sound a little different and

they told him and said we came unto the land where you sent us and surely it floweth with milk and honey and this is the fruit of it so it flows with milk and honey this is facts verse 28 nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land and the cities are walled and very great and moreover we saw the children of anak there they had to point out specifically we saw the children of anak these are the Giants my leaders he said 29 the amalekites dwell in the land of the South the Hittites the jebusites and the amorites dwell in the mountains and the Canaanites dwell by the

Sea and by the coast of Jordan and and Caleb stealed the people before Moses and said let us go up at once and possess it for we are well able to overcome it Caleb's response to the Giants and all the land that was great filled with all these great territories was a posture of Faith he knew that they had the ability to possess it and overcome it and we're going to see why he has such a great faith so let's go over now to Joshua the book that I've been reading okay and if we go over to Joshua 14 Joshua 14 is now the Fulfillment of the promise that the

Lord spoke unto Moses and it's now when Moses talks about these are going to be the people that inherit the land in 14 we begin to see in 13 as well too they're finally inheriting the land Joshua there's two people that actually made it to the promised land out of the the children of Israel that wandered in Egypt because of the Disobedience of the first generation of people that made it out of Egypt because of their Disobedience none of the men actually made it to the promised land god killed off that generation and he raised up a new generation okay and but amongst that old generation were Joshua and Caleb

these are the only two men that actually make it to the promised land that was promised everybody else is a new generation so this is a very interesting fact to know and the reason is is because of their unwavering faith that they were able to inherit the promised land okay this also even in Caleb finally inheriting uh Hebron it's an example of us you and I inheriting the promise that Jesus Christ talks about eternal life our kingdom that's in heaven right if we can continuously not grow weary in the faith of Jesus Christ The The Promise so stay with me because this gets really good okay and Joshua 14 Caleb

he's speaking to Joshua and he's talking about the land that he's supposed to inherit and I want us to begin to read from verse is 14 verse 7 so 40 years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from cadesh Burna to aspy out the land and I brought him word again that was in my heart so seven talks about what we just read in numbers 13 of how Moses sent him out Moses sent out Joshua uh Caleb when Caleb was 40 years old at the time okay in verse 8 it says nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people

melt so the people that went with him the other the other spies the other 11 they went out and literally hey wait a a minute hold on hold on all right well not the 11 cuz Joshua was amongst the spies too Joshua believed so the other 10 they came and like hey hey wait wait wait wait wait they brought so much fear from the report of what they saw in that land in verse 18 just confirms that they made the the people's heart melt but he says but I wholly follow the lord Lord my God Caleb was a man that Holy fully followed God full obedience this is also a

reminder of of John 6:38 okay this also when we have this it's like a spirit of Christ in when you wholly follow God it's an example of a Christ Spirit how do we know this well John 6:38 if I can go there real quick and just read what John 6:38 States States okay this is Jesus speaking by the way in John 638 in John 6:38 Jesus says for I came down from heaven not to do my own will okay but the will of him that sent me Jesus Christ did not come to do his own will but the father's will Caleb as much as they he may have wanted to

do every other thing Caleb was about the father's father's business Caleb was a man which says here holy follow the lord my god let's keep reading verse n and Moses swear on that day saying surely the land where on thy feet ha trotten shall be mine inheritance and thy children forever because thou Hast holy follow the Lord my God here goes that word again reaffirming him holy following the Lord fully following the Lord God and now behold the Lord had kept me alive as he said these 40 and5 years ever since the Lord spake this word unto Moses while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness and now lo

I am this day four score in five years so that word score is also it's a way that they counted in old times and the word score actually means so one score means 20 so he says he's four score so 4 * 20 is going to be 80 he said I'm four score and 5 years old so he's 85 years old at the time of him saying this to Joshua God has allowed him to be stay alive to see the promise long enough in verse 11 he says and yet I'm strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me as my strength was then even so

is my strength now for war both to come out and to come in he's 85 years old saying he can still go out and he Built For War God has preserved his health it's such a beautiful thing such a beautiful detail not even a not even a theme of this but it's a beautiful thing of verse 12 now therefore give me this mountain whereof the land spake in that day for thou heardest in that day how the anakims were there that the cities were great and fenced so here is a pivotal verse in verse 12 here what he's going to say next about the anakims this is the place that

he wants out of all the places everybody's inheriting a land and out of all the places Caleb wants the land of the anakims where the great Giants the great Giants there's still Giants in that land all the Conquering that they did all right in Joshua chapter 13 and 12 all the kings that they conquered the Lord confirms there's still so much more land for y'all to conquer Caleb is not even asking for a free land he's asking to send me over to the Hebron and this is what he says if so be the Lord will be with me then I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord

said I'm going to read that again if so be the Lord will be with me then I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said I got to pause right there because this is also why in the past when he saw all the great multitudes of land and the people that they would have to conquer and he saw the great Giants his faith was like let's go conquer them because I seen what God did for us I was there when he when we crossed the Red Sea I saw us cross the Red Sea I was there again when we crossed the dang Jordan I saw what he

did to the Jordan I was there when we conquered over 31 different Kings and kingdoms I seen what God did so if the Lord is with me the same thing that he did before he's going to do it again he's going to allow me to conquer the land of the Hebron where the Giants dwell who which the giants that are mightier than me in the flesh but not mightier than the God that I serve Hallelujah I'm going read it again if so be the the Lord will be with me then I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said and Joshua blessed him and gave unto Caleb

the son of yauna Hebron for an inheritance Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of jauna the kenite unto this day because that he holy followed the Lord God of Israel come on he holy followed the Lord God of Israel and the name of Hebron before was Kat arba which arba was a great man among the anakims and the land had rest from war so I'm going put this Bible down now thank you Jesus my leaders so because Caleb holy followed the Lord holy trusted God he he obtained an inheritance because he held on to the promise of God he held on to the fith that he had in

the Lord God my leaders this connects with us so much because the symbolism of Giants Giants are the devil's way of bringing us new problems I've seen individuals get re diagnosed with different diseases this season I've seen people be rediagnosis season seem so great and the beautiful thing about this passage passage is that the reason the children of Israel were able to conquer all this territory in the promised land because first and foremost God promised it to him and what did he promised he promised to go before them he does a preemptive thing he goes before the children of Israel and he already delivers and causes a fear amongst the

people so that when the children of Israel come against them there's already this guard up there's a trembling and it's not a trembling because of who they are it's a trembling because of the god that we serve those of you right now who believe and have received Jesus Christ as your lord and savior have been baptized by the Holy Ghost and have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you you have this power within you you have the Holy Ghost the same ghost that quickened Jesus Christ and allowed Jesus Christ to rise from the grave the same holy ghost that discerns even the things of God the same power that Jesus had

the same Spirit it dwells within us the word says the kingdom of God is within we got this anointing and this anointing is a spiritual thing they give us a real ability to believe in things that are not as they are the way that we conquer these goliaths right now is to believe that we have this Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ABA the father that wants to do Mighty great things for us and wants to give us a promise because he is truth and not a lie he's not perverse he's truth and not perverse when he speaks a word it doesn't come back void when he gives you a promise

that promise is going to stand it's going to come to fruition and what we do to give up our inheritance is we forfeit the promise based on the reality of where we are right now there's many things that God has shown me that he's going to do for me and my family as long as I got breath in my lungs the ability to pray and the ability to Holy follow the lord these things shall come to pass but if I decide I want to just turn now because I'm disappointed in what I see right now disappointed at the report disappointed at the bank account disappointment that I ain't get the

acceptance letter disappointment of the losses or the loss right disappointed that the relationships ain't work disappointed that the job ain't caught back disappointed in an eviction disappointed in so many of these worldly things the folks don't like you like they should like you you ain't getting the favor that everybody's getting you've been praying for the thing for 10 years you may be in an Abraham situation and you seem like you waiting until it's going to be 100 years old until you get the promise it seems that way but my leaders it's not about our timing but it's about God's timing and it's not about our will but it's about his

will and it's about standing still and remembering to hold on tight to God's promise it will come to pass and if it don't come to pass in your generation generation Moses it's going to come to pass in Joshua's think about this if it don't come to pass in your generation Moses even though You' seen all these great things that may come to pass in your children's children's generation but it's going to come to pass and what you and I need to do as pillars of the faith is to keep holding on and keep believing because one thing that I realize in my own season and my own trials is that

I got an influence and I got people around me and the last thing I need to do is not be like a Caleb because Caleb was sent out and he was sent out as a spot and he came back with some facts and instead of his posture being that of depression his posture was that of a resurrection his Spirit was even more fired up to keep moving that's where we got to move that's where my faith is and that's the type of faith that I wish to impart to you in this video today I ain't just speaking to you just to speak to you I'm speaking to you to impart

this level of Faith within you I read my Bible every single day so I can have this word of God which Revelation says that Jesus Christ is the word of God I need the word of God to ignite my spirit spirit and reveal to me things in secret Dark Places reveal to me things that I can't see right now ain't no way what I'm seeing can motivate me but the only way I could be motivated is the things that I'm fiting I'm it's the FI the things that my fate sees that's what motivates me right now the things that I believe in the spirit that's what motivates me right now

that's what keeps me moving moving Hebrews 11:1 which this whole Ministry this whole culture is based off now Faith is the substance of things hoped for evidence of Things Not Seen Caleb has this fate of things that he's hope and he's hoping that hey when we get into this land hey God is going to do what he said he's going to do he's going to deliver us so he goes to Hebron and the Bible say says that he gets Hebron meaning that when he went to Hebron and when he was amongst all these Giants God delivered him and my leader your giant God will deliver you from your giant but

you got to hold on to the promise as long as you got breath in your lungs my leaders don't move astray I need you to hold on tight as long as you got breath in your lungs I need you to hold on tight to God's promise like you've never held on before my leaders and I'm a firm believer that your life will be changed not because of my words but because of his words we give Jesus Christ all the glory all the praise and all the honor right now in this moment in this video and my leaders those of you all who have not received Jesus Christ as your lord

and savior I entice you take a leap of faith and receive him him [Music] [Music] confess with your mouth that he rose from the dead that you believe that he's your savior like really that simple and I'm a firm believer that your life will be changed confess with your mouth believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for you he became the curse for you he became an advocate for you and through his death he took away your sins he wants to be your lord and savior make him your lord I promise you the worst thing that can happen is you start talking like me you got this unwavering Faith

that's the worst that can happen but the best thing that you receive is his love salvation eternity your your eternity in heaven with the father get baptized get this receive the gift of the Holy Ghost that wants to reveal all truth to you that wants to comfort you that wants to lead you that wants to guide you this this world the enemy does not want you to look around and see blessings unless you serve Satan and if you serve Satan he's going to give you false blessings that come with a contract where you got to sign your soul and you got to sign your life away and there's a time

limit when that thing runs out and you going to start to see all types of demonic stuff happen that's a whole another video probably never going to get into cuz I don't want to glorify that demon but what I'm saying is don't give your life to the world don't give your life to Satan and what I'm saying is don't give your life to to fear because God didn't give us a spirit of fear according to scripture but a Love A sound mind okay love power and a sound mind that's the gift that you have that's what Caleb was walking in he was walking in the power he was walking in

a sound mind to know that God was going to get them through and this is why I need you to continuously walk in all right my leaders let's pray dear Lord heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ father I just want to say that we love you we absolutely adore you we absolutely surrender our life today and give you the glory we give you the honor we give you the praise Lord we need you father we need you like we've never needed you before and Lord we repent for our sin today we repent for our sin anything that we've done to disrespect you anything that we've done to

harm you God we repent right now Lord God and we ask that you would change our hearts Lord if our hearts have been hard and soften our hearts if we begin to stop believing in the things that you've been saying that you're going to do in our life Lord we repent right now for our unbelief Lord we know that in your word that you couldn't do many miracles because of unbelief so God I rebuke this Spirit of unbelief I rebuke the spirit of Doubt right now God and I ask that you would give me the boldness and give us the confidence that we need to move forward and trust you

God all we're praying is to trust you we're praying to trust you more it's just the enemy's been coming so hard lately it's been getting hard so God forgive us for our weakness which oh lord your word says your grace is sufficient and your strength is made known in our weaknesses so God while we're weak heavenly father I'm praying that you will continuously move us towards your promised land lord Jesus don't allow us to die off like the children of Israel in the wilderness who wander for 40 years no no no no make us be those who see the Promise Jesus give us the strength and boldness that Caleb had

Lord God let us walk in the spirit of Christ so that we can do things that we're called to do so Lord I'm praying that you will cover my leader today that you will grant them a peace and you'll grant them rest and you will grant them a reassurance that everything is going to be exactly like you said it's going to be so Lord we give you our burdens today and we accept your peace right now in Jesus name Lord God we accept your peace your perfect perfect peace and we commit our minds to be stayed on thee right now but I don't know who this leader is Lord but

I'm praying that they will begin to become more peaceful by focusing more on you and less on their problems Lord God we give you and we hand you our problems today in this moment in this hour Lord I Thank you for hearing this prayer Lord I cover this leader with the blood of Jesus plead the blood of Jesus over this Leader's life right now and as your peace falls upon them let them begin to praise you let them begin to shout let them begin to Worship You Lord God father we thank you for this time we thank you for this hour Lord God it's in Jesus mighty name that we
