[Music] [Music] What you stopping me now for? You should have came when I began. Or maybe maybe it's that when I started this thing, you ain't believe I was going to be at where I'm at right now. And now that I'm at where I'm at right now, and I'm getting closer to the finished work that God is calling me to do. Maybe now you feel like, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm making you nervous a little bit." I already told God I'm giving it to him. All right? And he's been building me up. He been building my wall. He's been patching up the old places.
Yo, why should I go back to you today? Why should I don't want to go back? Hallelujah. Holy Spirit, go before me. Let's pray, my leaders. Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, I ask that right now you go before me in this message and you literally pull in the leader that needs to hear this message today and that if they stay, Lord, that you pour into them today that you prepare their mind for this message. Somebody needs to hear this. Somebody has started building something. They started a routine.
They started a path and the enemy has been trying to pull them down, been trying to distract them, been trying to take them away from it. Lord God, this message specifically is for that leader. God, I pray that you give them a word today. Lord, I pray that you give them strength today. Father, if they've been breached, if a wall has been breached and their confidence is going away and they're growing weary, Father, I pray that this message addresses that, God. Father, build this leader up today. Let them not come in, Lord God, with this heavy burden, Lord, or something that needs to be shifted and it not be shifted.
So, Father, right now, I come against that spirit that's on them right now. And we ask that you rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Heavenly Father, you be with us right here. This is your word. So decrease me and increase your spirit. Lord God, let there be a seed planted today in Jesus mighty name. Amen. My leaders, you I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you. You've been doing a great work. You've been doing an amazing work. Let's come back to me now. You've been doing so so amazing. You've been moving. You've been shaking. You've been building up your character.
You've been changing your old ways, removing the old habits. You've been working on yourself. And matter of fact, as you've been coming to God, God's been showing you things to do and things to build. How to build up others and how to build up yourself. and you're disciplined and you're dedicated. But if we're being honest and we're being real, there's been times this past month recently that things have tried to break your cycle. They've tried to come and distract your mind. They've tried to come and bother your spirit. They've been pulling you.
What's been going on specifically is being addressed in Nehemiah chapter 6, where we're going to read from today. Nehemiah is building a wall. And as Nehemiah is building this wall, three individuals hear about this wall he's building. And they send enemies. They send messengers to pull him off of this wall and distract them. My leader, there's been enemies sent from Satan himself to come and distract you. This is the message today. And if you feel me on this, you know that you've been feeling distracted. You've been feeling pulled away. Why is it every time you about to start something, something feels like it's pulling you away.
You f to start something again. Something feel like it's bothering you. All of a sudden, you were good. But now you going to do something right. Now you ain't good. We stopping that today. This is the message today that's going to put us back on path. The Lord says in Isaiah that I'm going to make your crooked ways straight. And something that he's been doing for me, he been making my crooked ways straight. every time I'm about to do something great. And then there's a lot of phenomenal things God has me doing, needing to get done, stuff I haven't done before.
He's he's given me a new path, showing me new ways to bring in income for my family, build the platform so I can touch leaders and and plant seeds across the globe, help folks that are in my very community. Right? He's been showing me these great things that I've prayed for. And as I start moving towards them, there's like a resistance coming. I'm putting brick up. I'm putting a brick up. You're putting a brick up. You put another brick up. And then you put that next brick and you put that next brick and you feel like you building and all of a sudden something comes to get you.
My leader, God is coming back to get you. If you open up your Bibles to Nehemiah chapter 6, Holy Spirit, let me speak this. Nehemiah is building a wall. And in Nehemiah chapter 6 verse one, there's three people I want to put to our attention. Now it came to pass when Sandbell, one person, Tobaya, second person, and Gishm, the Arabian, and the rest of the enemies heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein, though at the time I had not set up the door upon the gates. There's a wall Nehemiah is building.
He ain't put the doors up, but the wall that he's building is almost flawless. He's about to finish the work that God has called him to finish. He started. Now check this out. Something very clear. Thank you, Holy Spirit. People heard now of what he was building. Folks heard of what he was doing. They heard it. It came in the ear. One way faith comes that the Bible mentions is faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God. Hearing is a very powerful concept in the Bible because hearing it moves us to action. It moves us either towards hope or it moves us e towards fear.
In this case these three gentlemen will move towards fear. Let's keep reading. Verse two. Sandbell and Gashm sent unto me, this is Nemiah speaking, saying, "Come, let us meet together in some of the villages in the plain of Uno or Ano." But they thought to do me mischief. So they sent messengers to tell Nehemiah, who's building this wall, to hey, pretty much stop what you're doing. Come, let's meet. You ain't got to continue that thing. Yeah. It ain't that important. Not right now. Maybe maybe do it later. Quote unquote. Come meet meet me. But Nehemiah knew that it was to do mischief.
You trying to distract me so I don't do nothing good. The Satan sent a spirit to distract you. So you don't finish building the wall that God is calling you to wall. You don't build the wall that God is calling you to wall. You don't build the wall that God is calling you to build. You on a you on a journey Nehemiah. Nehemiah about to finish. What you stopping me now for? You should have came when I began. Or maybe maybe it's that when I started this thing, you ain't believe I was going to be at where I'm at right now.
And now that I'm at where I'm at right now and I'm getting closer to the finished work that God is calling me to do. Maybe now you feel like, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm making you nervous a little bit." Nehemiah was making him nervous a little bit. Let's keep reading. In verse three, it says, "And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work." So, check this out. They sent messengers to Nehemiah. Nehemiah sent messages back to them. And he says to for the messengers to tell them this, I am doing a great work so that I cannot come down.
Why should the work cease while I leave it and come down to you? So give me a good reason that I should stop the work that I'm doing right now in order to come to you. You who wants to do mischief. Satan, I see the bait of temptation that you putting in front of me. And I know throughout the years you've used this same temptation to stop me when I'm progressing forward. Why should I listen to you now? safe. I know the fact of the matter is that legitimately about a week ago, you know, the area that I've been falling short to in the weakness.
I already told God I'm giving it to him. All right? And he's been building me up. He been building my wall. He's been patching up the old places. Yo, why should I go back to you today? Why should I don't want to go back? Nehemiah sent messengers to tell them, "Hey, why should I cease the work that God has me doing? He said verse four, "Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort, and I answered them after the same manner." So here they are. This is like the example of Jesus Christ in the wilderness according to the account of Luke. Jesus tested for 40 days and 40 nights.
And what happens? Satan gives him a word. Turn the stones into bread. Jump off and leap off of this mountain. I give you the kingdom. And every single time God refugees him with the word of God. Nehemiah, it says four times. They keep coming back to Nehemiah. They won't leave Nehemiah alone. Check this out. You're building yourself up. And the way you get rid of Satan is you start reading your word. You start praying to God. You start coming to agreement with other other believers. You start getting this power. Satan leaves you one day. Okay, cool.
And then Nehemiah XK four more times he saying why you keep sending the same thing back my way. I already rebuke you one time. Now he's saying rebuke him again. Like saying rebuke him again. Like saying rebuke him again. Nehemiah kept rebuking the devil. The reason I'm speaking so passionately because when I'm getting attacked and the enemy tries to send the enemy the same way, the same way. The same way. I'm having to rebuke him the same way. the same way. The same way because I don't want nothing to do with whatever you're offering me. Check this out. I want y'all to come in a little closer.
He said, "Four times of this sort they sent messengers to Nehemiah in verse four." Verse 5 says, "Then sent his servant unto me in like manner, the fifth time with an open letter in his hand." So now, not just four times, five times. My lead is five. [Music] Five. The enemy is a persistent individual. We not the only, us believers, we not the only one persistent. Sometimes the enemy is persistent and we try to like let him go one time and we think we good that I remember being so so juvenile in my thinking and I let the enemy go. Oh, he ain't going to come back no more.
He we good. Only to see that enemy show up the next week or the next month or the next few months. All right. Or maybe in the same day the enemy tried to come up multiple times. Then I realized I got to get in the spirit and I got to keep praying to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I got to keep calling on the authority gifted to me by the name of Jesus. Five times my look at his hand. Five. Not one, not two, not three, not four. Five times, my leaders, five times. Five times. I'm mad for Nehemiah because you messing with my brother in Christ.
That's my brother in Christ right there and you telling me you coming to him [Applause] [Applause] again. Verse six, there was a letter in his hand. This how verse 5 ends. But verse six, wearing was written. It is reported among the heathen and Gashmouth said it that thou and the Jews think to rebel for which cause thou buildest the wall that thou mayest be their king according to these words and thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem Jerusalem saying there is a king in Judah and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now, therefore, and let us take counsel together.
Then I sent unto them to him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou faintest them out of thine own heart. So they were making a false accusation of why it is that Nehemiah is building this wall. And Nehemiah sent a messenger back once again to deny these false claims and these false allegations. This is not the reason I'm building this wall. I know you're faint-hearted. I know you're in fear for what God has begun in me and for what God has started in me. But that is not the reason.
And one of the things we have to realize is the reason why the enemy comes to stop you, right? Four times, five times. And he keeps coming because if you keep building what God is calling you to build, the devil has this fear of what you ought to become when you finish building this thing. Verse 9, my favorite verse right here, it says, "For they all made us afraid, saying, their hands shall be weakened from the work that it be not done." Now therefore, oh God, strengthen my my hands, God, right now, these hands of mine. Strengthen my hands. Strengthen them. I need you to strengthen my hands right now.
Nehemiah said, "Oh God, strengthen my hands. Give me the ability to finish this work. Give me the ability to do your will. Give me the ability to proceed forward. Lord, I need you. My I'm sharing this to you because I was on a coaching call with a client. Shout out to you. You know who you are. On Friday, it was powerful. It was impactful. And the Lord gave me this just before we started the actual meeting. And he reminded me that as we're building new wall up, right, we're building not a wall against our heart, but as we're building what God has called us to build.
And as we're building also this temple, okay, the temple that houses the living God, the Holy Ghost. All right? The kingdom of God that's within us, the enemy is going to come through several different times, especially in your building phase. Like when you not building, you good. When you're not building what God wants you to build up and you're not going towards Jesus Christ, the fact of the matter is most of the time we're already dwelling with the enemy. We in the enemy's camp. We eating the enemy's food. We participating in the enemy's vices. We already there. He ain't got to come to us because we're already there.
But the moment that we get into the camp of Jesus Christ, the kingdom of God, that means that what we've done is we've created a separation. And now that we've created this separation, we're no longer in the enemy's camp. We're somewhere building ourselves up in a way that now we can't be controlled by the devil. We can't be manipulated by Satan, right? We can't be sifted. We can't be buffeted. Okay? We're building this thing. And then when we become strong in this thing, the what did the Jesus Christ give us? He giving us a power. I said a thou a tower would be good.
He giving us power and authority to trample over scorpions. to trample Satan. We have power to no longer be controlled by the world. We have power to no longer be oppressed by our vices. We have power to no longer be influenced and taken off like an animal to be slaughtered in the wilderness of the devil. We have power and authority over here. And we start getting our identity in Christ.
and we start being bold and we start moving with audacity and we start moving with a different level of grace and mercy gifted to us by the heavenly father and we move off shame and we move off guilt and we get into a place of identity and when we're in that place of identity we're powerful. Hallelujah. We ain't got to be the king because we serve King Jesus. So we ain't got to be the king but we got the king of kings. We got the Holy Ghost within us giving us this power and authority and we're able to be Jesus Christ's hands and his feet.
So I don't got to be king, the king you talking about, but I am becoming every single thing that Christ wants me to become. I'm building whatever he's calling me to build. And not only that, as I'm building what he's calling me to build, as I'm spending time in God's presence in his word, I'm building myself. And that that frightens the enemy. And if you watching this video today and you've been getting attacked by the enemy, it's and you've been going towards Christ and you're wondering, "Hey man, why am I getting closer to Christ, but now I got these messengers coming?" Hey, it's a testing.
The Bible tells us in the book of James, consider it pure joy when trials of many kinds present themselves, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have his perfect work that you are whole, complete, and tired. Basically, patience has a work to do and the testing has a work to do. So, the messengers that we're testing Nehemiah, but Nehemiah a Nehemiah, consider it pure pure joy. For the testing of your faith produces produces patience, my leader right now, consider it pure joy. For the testing of your faith produces patience, and patience have a perfect work. Wholeness, completeness, lacking in in some versions wanting nothing.
God allows things to happen. And as he allows it, that's the only way that we can prove our faith and grow in our faith. If nothing was happening to me, I don't have a test. And if I don't have a test, I don't have the I don't have the measure of how to even measure where my test where my faith is right now. But I love it when I am getting tested. I'm able to have victory. Hallelujah. Because those days where I had victory, I I I get to get a little bit more confidence. Like, oh yeah, I'm saved.
I feel a little more confident because what would have had me last year, it don't it don't do that for me no more. So, I know where I'm at. And when I know where I'm at, I know I was going to say who my is. I know who my father is. I know what kingdom I'm from. I know the authority that I walk in. But I get tested and I overcome. Now those times that I fall short, even those I say, "Hey, God's grace is sufficient for me." And your strength is made known in my weaknesses.
And even on those days that are tougher than some battles that I don't win, I'm able to thank Jesus anyway. Even in my afflictions, even in my failures, why? Because I'm still thanking Jesus knowing I'm not willfully giving myself on to the enemy. Enemy, you still don't got me. I still not acknowledging that I I like you or I need you or I want you. That was the past. I'm still fighting you and I'm going to keep fighting you and I'm going to get back up. And some of y'all need to hear that, too. Cuz there sometimes where we win, but some of us some days we lose.
And in those days where we lose, we feel like this shame and guilt and this condemnation. When Jesus Christ after we gone and repented, he forgets those sins. And he's saying, "Hey, sin no more. Just sin no more." So my leader, I'm spitting this to you today because I need you to realize as you're building like Nehemiah, the enemy going to come talking in your ear and that messenger. It may be people. It may be torments in your mind. It may be, hey, let me He puts a bait out. Go back to the vice. But the enemy is going to send messengers.
But I want you to know you you have a God that you serve that has already defeated Satan. Call on the name of Jesus Christ. And my watching this who don't believe in Jesus, hey, let me tell you something. The greatest thing that you could do is give your life to Jesus Christ. Almost committed suicide back in 2014. I was on everything. Drugs, sex, alcohol, pornography, you name it. I'm in that vice because I thought that this was going to be where my power came from. None of those things gave me power. In fact, I wanted to take my life.
But like Nehemiah, I wanted to build whatever God was calling me to build. I said, "God, how can I do this?" So, I called on to the name of Jesus Christ and he saved me from suicide. So, my ladies, if you have not given your life today, the Bible says, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God rose him from the dead, you are actually saved. I want you to build what God is calling you to build. And those of you who are believers, keep building.
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, Father, we just thank you for today. We thank you for this hour. Father, I thank you for this leader. I pray for this leader right now that you will cover them with the blood of Jesus. that you will guide them towards the green pastures and you will remove the temptations coming from the enemy. Lord God, the devil has tried to send them messengers to stop them from building and to stop them from growing. Father, I rebuke that spirit right now by the name and authority of the name of Jesus Christ right now. That demon has to go.
It must flee in the name of Jesus. God, we put our mind back to you. We put our focus back on you. We put our thoughts back on you right now, heavenly father. Lord, allow my leader to keep building. I don't know where they are right now, but I know it's beautiful. I don't know where they are right now, but Lord, allow them to forgive themselves, Lord God. I don't know where they are right now, but allow them to feel your overwhelming love. I can't give this to them, but you can give it to them right now, Lord God.
And for those who don't believe, Lord, let them repeat after me. believe that Jesus is Lord and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that God rose Jesus from the dead. Come into my life, Lord. I need a savior. I repent today and I turn to you in Jesus' name. Father God, I know under this video right now, there's people that have come to Christ. There's folks recommitting their life to Jesus right now. And there's some folks that are just focusing again. They know that what's going on. They see the schemes of the enemy. Somebody got delivered today.
Somebody got strength today, heavenly father. And I pray, hallelujah, that they keep moving forward. Lord God, I just want to say thank you for this time. Thank you for what you're doing. Hallelujah. In this earth, Lord, we just want to say that we love you. We thank you. And it's in Jesus mighty name that we pray. pray. Amen. Amen. My leader, I love you, but Jesus Christ loves you more.
