Many Are the Plans in a Man’s Heart, But God’s Will Shall Stand | Proverbs 19:21 Insight

my my leaders thank you for joining me today we got a quick message that I want to share with you inside the Book of Proverbs okay and before I begin I just want to ask you something if you've ever been in a season where it feels like you have so many things and so many ideas that you've been thinking about and you've been trying to execute them and nothing has been endearing nothing has been being established and it just seems like you're going on a different path and you're asking the question Lord I've been praying to you I've been talking to you I thought that you were guiding me it

seems like I'm jumping off a cliff right now and nothing seems to be working all right and then many of you all things are working they're just not working the way that you thought they were going to work then there's the other Spectrum things are going exactly according to how you thought they were going to go because you know that right now it's God's will not your will okay we're going to be reading Proverbs 19:21 ask my wife today I said wife man what should I talk about on this platform today and she gave me some ideas and this was one that came up because our marriage you know and

I'mma share a little bit about our marriage um in this video I want to pray and I want to read this verse and I want to break this down first and foremost heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord God we thank you for this time we thank you for this moment Lord that we get to just read your word and be fed by Your Word Of Truth we know that this word is infallible there's nothing there's no error in this word and when we read it and when we speak it out there's an increasing of faith and I'm praying that you ready to mind of this individual

who's watching this video today Lord get their soil ready so when I plant this seed God they will get a fresh Revelation guide us today grant us wisdom and direction in this video and Clarity use me as a vessel today to speak to your leader in Jesus name we pray pray amen my I thank you for joining if you got your word I want us to get to this Bible right now um many of you are going to have a different version I'm reading out of the KJV and Proverbs 19:21 it says there are many devices in a man's heart heart nevertheless the counsil of the Lord that shall stand

some of your vergins are going to say there are many plans in a man's heart but it's the Lord's plans that shall Prevail and out of the KJV I'm going to read a few things I want y'all to see some of Hebrew meanings for some of these verses before I talk about uh today's message and so there are many divices in a man's heart so this word device in Hebrew is uh Masha shaba and it's multiple meanings like Hebrew how they build up their words you'll see that there's multiple meanings for a multitude of words um so devices which is Masha shaba um that word also stands for thoughts plans

inventions purpose or scheme so in your version you may see the word plans all right so a plan is also a device not like our cell phones you know the technology that you use but there are many thoughts there are many plans there are many inventions there are many purpose there are many schemes in a man's heart that word heart is the word in Hebrew Leb and it means mind or understanding the few other meanings as well too but in this context mind or understanding nevertheless the counsel which is ETA is is advice purpose plan wisdom all this going to make sense we're going to reread this again so there

are many devices so there are many purposes in a man's mind nevertheless the counsel okay the advice the purpose the wisdom of the Lord that shall stand that word stand is the word quam which also means establish endar or remain it is God's word his counsel that shall stand one thing I want us to realize right now is if we go around the Bible you're going to see that the one that's called the Great counselor you would have to go to Isaiah you're going to see that one of the names of Jesus Christ is counselor another thing you're going to see in Luke 22:42 is God speaking and praying to

Jesus praying to God the Father and in this prayer at geine before Jesus Christ is going to be the the Fulfillment is going to die on the cross for our sins you and I there's a prayer in a statement that he says and I want to read this father if thou be willing remove this cup from me nevertheless not my will but thine be done okay okay this is Luke 22:42 and it's a powerful concept to understand understand because here it is Jesus Christ is willing to submit and willing to surrender and this is what today's message is about in Isaiah 46:10 it talks about how God's counsel shall stand

we see this word again his counsel shall stand his plans are the only thing that stand okay and so here's a Psalm that connects with this Psalms 33 10:11 I want us to go here real quick and I'm going to come right back to the message I just want to connect this because the Bible is a big meta narrative and what that means is everything connects back to Jesus Christ the Bible should always prove itself correct all throughout the Bible it's consistent it's perfect there's no error and um we don't really talk about this too much but I'm here to share this with you all so in Psalms 33 the

Lord 33:10 it says the Lord bringeth the counsel of the Heathen ton not right so we know what that word counsel means once again advice purpose plans the Lord bringeth the counsel of the heeden to not to nothing he make it the devices of the people of none effect the counsel of the Lord standeth forever the thoughts of his heart to all generations so the counsel of the Lord once again I got to establish this principality this rule here the counsel of the Lord stands forever so if we go back to our verse of the day let's read it there are many devices in a man's heart nevertheless the counsel

of the Lord that shall stand there are plans and there are ideas in my mind that I'm thinking about that I think that right now are the best possible solution for how I'm going to move forward in life right now if you're thinking about your life I want you to put your life in here right now and you're thinking about these plans they are are phenomenal okay you think like ain't nothing going to go wrong with this but when you've tried some of these plans you realize like dang one maybe when you went forward it didn't bring about the solution that you thought it was going to bring it didn't

bring about the Fulfillment that you thought you were going to have okay you went about your own PL you did it your own way and you realize that doing it my own way got me into the mess that I am currently in right now now because there's also one of my wife's favorite scriptures in Jeremiah 2911 right for the Lord knows the plans that he has for you plans not to harm you right but to give you an expected end in some versions it says a hope which is fate in future so when we are going towards a r that tends to now lead us to Earth and we have

yet to submit to God we tend to realize that dang I need more wisdom I need more understanding God I need you to show me a lot of times we go to man my advice to you right now is first and foremost fix your eyes on Jesus Christ who is the author and the finisher of your faith who knows and has already written the plan that he has for you and one example I want to use is in my own life right now and I've been married to my beautiful wife mcle for over a year now and initially when before marrying my wife I did not know that God was

even calling me to be married in this season I had ideas of where my money needed to be my finances because of my Nigerian background make sure you got a big load of money in your treasury you know what I mean and so bank account didn't look like it needed to look quote unquote according to my own own idea and really that's it it was really a money thing for me plain and simple you know when I get all the money that I need then I'll be right to get married I'm not going to say it was anything else that's what it was and the Lord had to rebuke me

he had to rebuke me because he is the one that provides and has always provided for with me every single moment of my life and because of my faith and my trust in Jesus Christ God the Father I understood that okay Lord not my will but your will and in surrendering the Lord would give me the strength that I needed to move forward and marry my beautiful wife mle sake I love you baby if you're watching and also one of the things outside of money that I had a fear of was okay I've been single for so long how am I going to have perfect days with my wife how

am I going to take care of my wife now how am I going to provide for my wife now how am I going to do all of these things and it created so much chaos in my mind where there was a fear that begin to develop but as I read scripture the Lord said that I didn't give you the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind and so once again here I am having to trust in the counsel of the Lord because it says here that nevertheless the counsel of the Lord that shall stand when the counselor right when you receive Jesus Christ

as Lord and Savior the beautiful thing is in the detrimental thing is he died for us he didn't need to die for us he died a death made for criminals but it was a journey he had to go on so that we can have salvation so that we could be redeemed and have our relationship back with God the father in in leaving he says that he was going to send the helper who is the Holy Ghost a gift from Jesus Christ and in scripture talks about the Holy Ghost being the revealer of all truth so Jes Jesus Christ has given us this gift that reveals when we allow ourselves to

surrender and open ourselves up to the Holy Ghost he Reveals All truth to us and he begins to counsel us and he begins to direct us you're thinking about going right holy ghost is like no don't go right go left and you know it's the holy spirit cuz often times it contradicts everything your flesh wanted to do sometimes the often conf conflicts in contradicts anything that the device right your mind wanted to do and you just remain obedient Jesus Christ his Spirit was willing and ready to do the calling but his flesh was not that he still had a human flesh he would have to experience death nobody wants to

experience that not even Jesus but it was the call to save Humanity that was greater than his comfortability he loved us that much and God the Father IA loved us so much that he would send his only begotten son literally to save you and I it's such a beautiful poetic reality not just a story and I'm saying this because my fate to get married was no longer in what was tied up into my bank account my bank account could have been in the negative negative and I'm going tell you the truth my bank account was very low when I got married and I be had to just trust God and

going into the marriage he's allowed us to be here still thriving in our marriage Hallelujah growing every single day all right and he's provided for us Mana food resources finances Union bonding so much things have been established because of just trusting in God and the reason I'm sharing this message as the holy spirit is speaking to me there are many devices in a man's heart nevertheless the counsel of the Lord that shall stand where you want and what you want this season is God's count once again this word is ETA I love it advice purpose plan and wisdom okay advice purpose plan and wisdom those things have already been predestined

they've already been established they're already walked out those are the those are the spaces that God has already gone before you when you pray the prayer God go before me what you're saying is God as you go before me as you lead me lead me in the way that you've already predestined and in this place there's blessings there he's already prepared blessings he's already prepared favor he's already prepared opportunities but it's when you walk according to his will and not your own understanding the word also talks about let's see if we can find it here uh proverbs B 3 I know y'all know it okay yep proverb thank you Holy

Ghost Proverbs Proverbs 3:5 it says trust in the Lord with all thine heart and we know that heart that word in Hebrew is Le which constitutes the mind and lean not unto thine own understanding in all thy ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct thy paths be not wise in thine own eyes fear the the lord and depart from Evil fear the lord this word fear in Hebrews also it's not just like a this trembling fear it's it's reverence and a have reverence have respect for God have this all for God and ultimately trust in him my leaders as I conclude and close this message I want y'all to understand

that God understands and he knows exactly what it is that you need he hears your prayers he knows your thoughts he knows your prayers before you even pray them is what it says in the Bible which is profound profound and if it's according to his will he's already answered your prayers before you've even asked him so laders this season want us to read that verse again and really get us locked in there are many devices in a man's heart nevertheless the counsel of the Lord that shall stand that is wisdom and advice that built on a rock not sand when we start building things in our own understanding we it's

fleeting it's like quick sayand it start sinking real quick start sinking real quick but the Lord his counsel is concrete even even more it's like that metal that just indestructible metal it's going to stay there for generations to come it's immovable it's perfect so Lord this message today father as we come to you today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord we just thank you that you're challenging us to continuously keep your counsel to keep seeking your purpose and your wisdom and that your wisdom and your advice and your plans are perfect they're just enough they everything that we need they're beyond our own comprehension they're beyond our own

understanding they're great and so God I just challenge myself and I challenge this leader today to have us continuously lean on you this season yes we have plans that we pray come to pass but ultimately we pray that these plans they line up with your will like Jesus prayed not my will but your will be done and I'm praying that over this leader that today moving forward before we get into this New Year's that you make our crooked ways straight Jesus and that we no longer walk in our way but we walk in yah yah way we love you we thank you for hearing this this prayer it's in Jesus
