he got up he said God is real Jesus is real holy spirit is real that's the first thing he started shouting out of his mouth as he got his composure back and I told him we not doing this today this is not what we doing not today we ain't doing that today nah nah n you a man of God man God got you covered you are going to have Victory today man I said get up and keep walking the man is bleeding out on the side of the road he was on the road to Jericho fell among some thieves and had been brutally beaten his clothes were stolen from him
and Jesus is explaining this to a certain certain lawyer about a Samaritan to describe compassion so he tells him a little [Music] [Music] story one man took a stroll all the way to Jericho then he ran it to some thieves stripped him down and took his clothes didn't stop at burglary probably even broke his nose they departed had to leave and left this man upon the road first help that showed up was a priest that had to go second help that showed up a levite that wouldn't so third help that showed up the Samaritan was slow to keep moving on his journey a compassion he did show found his WS
gave him shelter that's the neighbor that I know when you ask me who's my neighbor that's the one that you should know [Music] [Music] right yeah my leaders today I got a special message for you if this is your first time joining me you are a part of a community of some of the toughest leaders on the planet all right and so I thank you for joining me because these are brck wall Runners leaders that see a problem they see an issue and they they're deciding in their mind I'm about to run through this all right this is my this is my brick wall and I'm running through this brick
wall so that's why you're here today because you are brick wall Runner and you on fire for Christ you love healing you love this journey that you're on and so today we want to speak about compassion I've been called to speak about compassion today and I'm excited to give you this because the Lord just gave it to me on my mind when I woke up was not compassion it was not compassion my leaders I tell you that one thing right now it was compassion so if you got your Bibles man I would love it if you all can open up to Luke chapter 10 let's pray heavenly father in the
mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord I just want to say thank you right now for this time that I get to share with my leaders right here Lord the individuals that have decided to tune in to this message and get a word from you Lord I just want to say thank you for these leaders these leaders that are across the globe father I just want to pray for them right now that Lord you would bestow compassion within their hearts heavenly father so that they may be moved and that they may be compelled Hallelujah including myself to act and serve those those who do need the actual help Lord help us
have compassion when we see our brothers who are wounded who are beaten not only beaten physically in this world but also beaten and bruised spiritually Heavenly Father Lord give us the compassion to move and help whether it be with resources whether it be with a word of encouragement whether it be with some form of action that shows that we care Lord give us the ability to move with compassion father I thank you for today's word that you allowing me to spit today about this Lord going into this Samaritan story there's just so much to extrapolate and take out and to look at in this simple story yet profound and Powerful
Lord let us get everything that we need to get from this message today father bless every leader that ears right their ears are hearing the sound of my voice right now God your word said that there is gold there are Jewels but the lips of knowledge are a precious Jewel so father let my lips be a precious Jewel right now to go forth into someone's ear and may they benefit May there be a return as this word plant a seed deep within the root and may there be a hundredfold increase in this word in Jesus name and let nothing come and stop it interrupt this message today and in the
mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray amen my leaders today today today I'm excited right because I didn't wake up thinking I'm about to speak about compassion but here we are right now okay and I'm going to start reading we're going to get straight into this because in Luke 10 there's so much juice the other day I was reading out of Luke 10 and I was speaking about Martha and Mary but now we just going to even go to the story before before that okay we're going to go to the story before that and we're going to read about a story that Jesus is telling a certain certain lawyer who
asks Jesus who is my neighbor and we're going to see how it even got to this we got to start on Luke 10: 25 and it says and behold a certain lawyer stood up in Temple him so first and foremost we know that this lawyer is seeking to tempt Jesus tempting to trip up Jesus trying to trick Jesus all right in this question that he's about to go in and he's about to ask and behold a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him saying Master what shall I do to inherit eternal eternal life he said unto him what is written in the the law how read this th and he
answering said Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart with all thy soul and with all thy strength and with all thy mind that message right here that's a whole another message that eventually I'm going get into but we're going to keep it going for the purpose of the title of this message and he said him thou Hast answered right do this and thou shalt live but he willing to justify himself said unto Jesus and who is my neighbor and Jesus answering said a certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among Thieves which stripped him of his rment that word rment is a another
word for clothing and wounded him and departed leaving him half dead so this man has gone down to Jericho and these thieves strip him leaving him half dead in the next verse it says and by chance by chance okay my chance there came down a certain priest that way and when he saw him he passed by on the other side so the priest passes this wounded Samaritan man up now the second person that comes verse 32 and likewise a levite when he was at the place came and looked on him and passed by the other side so here goes a levite we know they come from the descendants of the
Levi the third son of Jacob and Leah here here it is these people also kind of like they're not called high priests but the Levites also religious as well the priest is also as we know this priest specifically because of the actions can't fulfill a Pharisees somebody that knows the word they ain't really took vers 33 it says but a certain Samaritan as he journeyed came where he was right came where the guy who the certain man was beat down and he stops and with compassion is it says in verse 34 and went to him and bound up his wounds pouring in oil and wine and set him on his
own beast and brought him to an end and took care of him when we are move with compassion I'm reminded in this text there is an action that comes with having compassion there's an action that comes with actually caring I'm reminded as I'm read reading this text the Samaritan that stopped to to look at this beaten individual went out of his way even to utilize his own resources how can I pick you up how can I also utilize my resources and help you you know it help you reminds me what I went out to run the other day I'm running and I think that day I may have ran about
maybe 8 n miles I was on fire my body woke me up early saying Michael you have got to get out you have got to run I didn't run early that morning so literally about 12:00 comes p.m. and I'm out it's hot the boying sun is giving me a tan I don't need any more tan I'm dark enough and I'm out there and I'm running and I got my ball so when I run I I I get a basketball and I'm I'm dribbling you know dribbling doing like dribble moves and I'm having a great time I'm getting my workout in I'm I'm training my abs I'm doing push-ups I'm on
fire god is giving me this energy and as I'm out there running I'm often praying at the same time talking to my heavenly father telling him what's on my on my mind with on my spirit and just asking him to reveal things to me you know get I need a revelation and often times in my runs I get these Revelations and they're powerful powerful so God G me this beautiful revelation about how to better my marriage right how to how to better understand the needs of my wife and I I'm so excited about the Revelation Hallelujah that I end up running an extra M I said Lord for that Revelation
I said this I I was so hyped I said oh God even when I think about I was so excited Hallelujah of the Revelation I said God I'm running an extra mile I started to speak in my heav L language and I go run that extra mile and as I run that extra mile there's a individual on the floor drugged up passed out you can see but his eyes are open and I can see the eyes they're turning gray and the only other time I've seen somebody's eyes turn gray is when a demon was possessed they were demon possessed or they were on the verge of death right and so
we have to call that person back to life the the only times I've seen it so running and this dude looks like there's those two things happen either this dude is dying right or there's a spirit there there's a spirit that has this dude on the floor with his pants half half almost butt naked and as I'm running I'm so hyped Hallelujah I'll go to extra mile I see this individual and I just start to speak to him I say get up I tell this man I said get up I said we've been here before I said we not doing today and I'm really talking to that demon I'm talking
to that demon like we're not doing this today we F to get up it's like the Samaritan man it says and he went and bound up his wounds pouring in oil I needed to bound up whatever spirit that on this man I needed to extrapolate it so I started to speak to the spirit I started to pray in my heavenly tongue and I started to cast this demon out and then I began to pick him up this physically get my hands and I started to pick them up and as I picked him up he got up he said he said God is real Jesus is real holy spirit is real
that's the first thing he started shouting out of his mouth as he got his composure back and I told him we not doing this today this is not what we doing not today we ain't doing that today nah n n you a man of God man God got you covered you are going to have Victory today man I said get up and keep walking and this is not the first time that seen that this has happened another day on my run there was another individual who was carrying a load of bags and God had me carry that person bag during my runs at during my run as we went the
distance just to help him get to his destination and when we are filled with compassion what I'm realizing thank you Holy Ghost is that when we see our brothers in help right in need of help when we're move with compassion we're we're called to do something about this just to help them go the extra mile just to help them get to the actual destination they're going to get to that destination anyway right well some actually won't let's think about that let me let me backtrack yeah they they they want to get to that destination but it don't necessarily mean that they will get to that destination if we don't help
our brothers and sisters out the men on the street could have been could have been gone the dude that was stuck in the day had no more energy to push forward this dude on his way to Jericho has been beaten so when you have been beaten you are physically exhausted it's not even psychological even though it does affect your psyche but you are physically beaten meaning you are most likely exhausted you are exhausted he's on the side of the road probably most likely dehydrated on this journey probably now is thinking I don't even want to go down to Jericho no more from Jerusalem like why did I even take this
path to begin with but it says by chance by chance there's going to be people in your life that they're going to see your issue they're going to look at it and they're going to keep going even people you highly love even people you may highly respect they may look at your situation and keep going they ain't got their ability to show the compassion and it's okay they not obligated to show you no compassion it's a free will baby but it is an indicator of the character and it is an indicator of the type of individual that that person is and it's okay when you see the reality of that
it's okay not to sit and judge because you don't know where they are in life you don't know what their situation looks like you don't know where they they're walk what God is you don't know so we can't even we can't be offended by that the guy that's beating down sees the priest leaving we can't be offended by by that was Jesus offended when he's rebuking the fair yeah he is but he's rebuking the Pharisees like this is we know that there's going to come thing there's going to be individuals that see you they see they may even see the anointing on you they may even see the favor on
you and because it's on you decide to move and not help you I'm just ecstatic when I look at this because I'm thinking to myself man I have to ask the question Holy Ghost help me help me help me finish this have I been a good neighbor because those that I filled with with compassion those are the ones that are dwelling in love like the word says and those that dwell in love they dwell in me and part of dwelling in Christ he gives us the spirit of compassion the multitude that was following Christ before he feeds them the 5,000 loaves the multitude it says that when he looked back
and he saw how they hungered when he saw how they hunger he had compassion and he was moved and so now that I move with this level of compassion where does he tell his disciples let's not just look at them starving let's feed these people let's give them this nourishment let me not be moved with compassion and stare my brother in need and not do nothing stare my sister in need and not do nothing there's a reason why Jesus Christ used this specific example of the Samaritan and I'm reminded again man I'm God why you speaking like why you doing this to me why you got to why you got
to hit me with this message right now though why cuz think about this for a second and I just gota I gotta spit this the the priest the levite and the Samaritan are all going on a journey and they all got a place to go and nobody knows if where the priest got to go or where the levite got to go or where the Samaritan got to go wherever they're going right whatever they got to do that day we don't know just how important it is that they they get to the destination that they get to but the thing is regardless of the destination that we're on because I tend
to do this sometimes I'm so busy in in what I'm doing that man I ain't even got time to stop for you right now there's been a few people even even recently because of my own issues I'm like Yo God I ain't got the time to stop right now to help that person I ain't got the time I don't got got it but see the thing is what if God has called you specifically to help that person in order to receive a blessing and this is what the Lord showed me Michael I got things for you to do I got people for you to serve I got people for you
to help and if you keep moving the way that you move and you going on that you going that path that you going yeah you going to get to your destination but but why how I don't want you to just get to your destination and neglect the individuals that I need you to help remember one thing I am God right and it's God that gets you to your destination to begin with so if he calls you to stop Michael and if he calls you to serve and he calls you to help if he calls you to dwell in love and he calls you to be in this space of compassion
for just a moment and just the extra hour if he calls you to do that right then just maybe God has a better way to get you to your your destination along this road there is nobody more important in this Faith walk than the journey Jesus Christ was on and while he was on his journey preaching in synagogues going from town to town walking sometimes on donkeys regardless he was interrupted because of the multitude that followed because of the name of Jesus Christ how far and vast it went out into the land without having social media Instagram emails his name spread out people were seeking him they were trying to
get healed they were trying to touch his hinge you know what I mean they were trying to get him to just come to Rooms touch my daughter she's dead like yo help us this one he was any place he needed to go to was the most important yet even Jesus Christ had compassion enough to stop to weep to feel man that's this gets me excited and so as I close this message I'm thinking to myself wow who is my neighbor the neighbor of God according to the scripture those who do the will of God and those who do the will of God will have the compassion of God and to
have the compassion of God means that you are bearing a fruit of God that compassion of God is always going to have a fruit that comes from the fruit of the spirit which is found found in Galatians Galatians 5: 22 and it's but the fruit of the spirit is love love joy peace longsuffering longsuffering gentleness goodness fith meekness Temperance against such there is no law who is my neighbor as also those that are showing the fruit that can only come from the spirit who is my neighbor as we read in first John are those who confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God coming in the flesh who is my
neighbor those who don't only speak the word of Faith but through Faith and Action keep Faith alive for faith without works is dead and if we say we have faith but we have what we don't have charity we don't have love what does the word speak about this this is going to be in 1 Corinthians 13 vers 13 it says and now abideth Faith Hope charity these three but the greatest of these is Charity in your Bible we know that charity is love the greatest of these is love why does it also say charity because charity is a form of serving so love is also a form of serving and
when it's time to show compassion we get to so the serving portion of our love my ladies let's pray dear heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord God I just want to say thank you for this time thank you for this hour thank you for this moment Lord we just want to say thank you for this space that you have put us in right now to just soak in your precious perfect infallible word man Lord we thank you for even drawing us closer to wanting to hear the word like we thank you that we even desire to hear the word of Truth we thank you Lord God
as you even put it on us to to to take time in your presence God and I know today specifically it was about compassion God on what it looks like to show compassion well you use three people you use the levite Hallelujah you used the priest and you used the Samaritan to give specific example on what it looks like to look upon our brothers and just walk away versus look upon our brothers and show actual Compassion or what it looks like to know the word of Truth and have the faith but not have the love not have the charity not have the compassion Lord this is what you've showed us
today that the one thing that you truly call who is my neighbor and who would actually be your neighbor and wouldn't just be saying Lord Lord and calling your name out in vain are those who are actually doing the will of Christ and is showing comp passion to our brothers in Christ when our brothers are beat down when they're bruised when the enemy knowing that Satan has come in and devoured them how do we come in and show the love of Christ to initiate a healing Hallelujah so God I just thank you for this time right now I thank you that this compassion that you are speaking about is taking
root in our heart God and I pray even from our heart Lord cleanse out the heart Jesus Christ cleanse out the wickedness cleanse out the self-centeredness cleanse out out the the heart that wants to see his brother hurt cleanse out the heart that wants to see his brother and not be able to move towards compassion and help cleanse that heart heavenly father but let us be moved with compassion like it says in your word Lord God let us move with the compassion of Christ like it says in your word and help those that we ought to help heavenly father will you lead us to these people heavenly father will you
put it in our heart to take the action Jesus so father we just want to say we thank you for your word Lord we thank you that your word and the word of knowledge are precious jewels precious jewels and we thank you that you've given us the heart and the mind to Value these precious jewels heavenly father so Lord I just want to pray for this leader and say thank you that this leader made it this far into the video may you continually bless their life may you bless their family may you heal any area that needs healing Heavenly Father Lord may you continuously be our Lord and savior as
we rest upon the shadow of your wings we just want to say that we love you we thank you and it's in Jesus mighty name that we pray amen amen amen hallelujah my leaders I love you but Jesus Christ loves you more we out
