You Are God’s Chosen Vessel – Why God Can Use You No Matter Your Past

my leaders yo thank you for joining me today I'm actually excited because I got a special message I know I say that every time because every breath that I get to take every message that I get to share is truly a blessing and so this is definitely a special message for you because today there's something very specific on my heart I had to ask the question God why did you choose Paul let me say that again there's one question that I asked today during my Bible study as I'm studying Galatians I'm in Galatians I'm in the Book of Micah and as I'm in Galatians though one question prompted a video

topic why did God choose Paul and the reason I'm even starting there is because because this is going to be a answer to a question of why did God choose you why did God choose me if you're watching this video right now before we even begin I need you to know that although there's as much people it appears as the number of grains on a beach it seems that every single person can't possibly have a assignment but I'm here to tell you right now if you're believer in Jesus Christ you have an assignment and even if you don't yet believe in Jesus Christ I'm going to convince you that you

have an assignment you've been chosen regardless of what your life has looked like up until this point and if it's still looking a little raggedy a little janky a little ratchet you still falling into some things myself included God has chosen you specifically this is not some word of encouragement although it is it's the reality of why you're still breathing and I need you to really get this message today okay so before we begin I love us to pray right here right now heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord we magnify your name right now we give you the glory we give you the honor we give

you the praise father we give you this time and we give you this space right here to pour into US Lord there's a word that you want to pour into us there's an idea you want us to understand there's some love that you want us to catch right now there's some Grace you want us to embrace there's favor right here right now and so Lord I just ask that you will use me in this moment that you will use me to speak to your leader that you will use me to share a word of En encouragement that this leader knows that regardless of what they've been doing how they've been

struggling if they feel like they've been lost Lord that you want them to know that you've chosen them despite so father use me right now to speak a word unto your leader we magnify your name in Jesus mighty name amen my leaders I don't care care what has looked like this past 6 months what has looked like last year what has looked like the first 14 15 years of your life I don't care where you are right now what you just did yesterday what you just did last night I need us to come here together and just hug one another right now and I need to whisper something in your

ear God loves you God loves you y God loves you he loves me and there's times my leader as I'm going through life and I I backslide or I do something I ain't supposed to do and I need to repent and I'm repenting every day that I I I I feel like dang Lord why did you choose Lord you know I still got anger in some areas you know I'm still trying to control my patience in these areas you know I still got certain desires that man they ain't fully they ain't fully got a cap on them yet Sometimes they come out randomly look why you choose choose me I

see a couple people you could have chose I see a few individuals that you could have put in this position why me for this role for this assignment you could do better and as I say certain statements like like that God continues to remind me gracefully without him being offended he understands that we need reassurance throughout the Bible you see Great Men of God and women of God you see them getting this assurance reassurance that comes from God and I'm here to remind you again that God made no mistake when he chose you he made no mistakes in the gifts that he's giving you in your abilities that he gave

you he made no mistakes in the role that you're playing he made no mistakes in your assignment he makes no mistakes when he puts people in leadership positions we are only in leadership position because God puts us then he made no mistakes okay my leader God makes no mistakes I need you to repeat that after me again let's say this together on the count of three let's say God Mak no mistakes on account of three one two three God makes no mistakes if you're in the comments below you want to write this thing down I want you to write down God God made no mistake can you write this down

for me God made no mistakes and the reason I'm saying this over and over and over over again because I got a scripture I want to read when I asked the Lord the question why did you choose Paul if you got your Bibles I'm reading out of the KJV go to chapter one of Galatians I'm going wait for you to go to Galatians go to chapter one of Galatians when I read chapter one of Galatians it almost reminds me of chapter one of Jeremiah okay I'mma read this right now this is Paul but before I even read this scripture let's talk about Paul real quick because if I have all

these doubts and I have all these hangups we have Paul which we spoke about before in a few few videos Paul was a Pharisee let's just first and point that out he was a Pharisee he knew much about legalism okay not only he know much about legalism he knew great about Judaism he was in a student of Judaism great he exceeded in Judaism as we read in the text today and he persecuted the Christians like he was out here murdering Comm committing murder bringing down God's very chosen individuals this man was chosen chosen why why how what level of Grace does God operate in we don't understand from this human

understanding and Paul's writing in the book of Galatians one thing that Paul is tasked with and has been separated for let's first read this in Galatians chapter 1 if you go to verse 15 it says but when it pleased God who separated me from my mother's room and called me by his grace Hallelujah for when it pleased God who separated separated me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace separated in the mother's womb is not a idea that you just first hear in the New Testament you hear this in the Old Testament in Jeremiah if you go to the Book of Jeremiah if you put a placeholder

right there Jeremiah the very first chapter of Jeremiah you're going to see this womb talk again you going to see the calling talk Jeremiah 1 verse4 it says then the word of the Lord came unto me saying before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou camest forth out of the womb I Sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the Nations Nations Paul before he came into the world in his mother's womb Paul is separated to one day he's going to be the individual that brings the Gospel of Jesus Christ onto the Nations to the Gentiles he's going to be preaching to the Gentiles

he's going to be the Pioneer that it's okay to preach to the Gentiles they don't got to get circumcised they don't got to be doing the Jewish Traditions they just receive Jesus Christ through faith it's their faith not the works of the Mosaic law but through this grace through faith is how they're going to receive Jesus Christ why does he preach that because on the road to Damascus he was about to go find some dang more Christians and persecute them he gets hit by a light and is blinded and the Beautiful part about his testimonial which you can find in Acts chapter n is it is grace that brought Paul

un to Jesus it is grace in which God had favor upon him and still set him out even in the midst of what he was going to do and despite of what he had already done it was Grace it wasn't him doing some type of works of the Mosaic law it wasn't him trying to get right before God and then comeing into Christ cuz we can't get right before Christ we got to come to Christ in the word receive Jesus in order to be cleansed Paul is saved by grace through the faith he has in Jesus Paul is going to be chosen to speak to the gentille this individual should

have been slaughtered and put to death a long time ago according to my own understanding what you mean you messing with God's chosen what you mean is not a curse on you what you mean you getting you getting it's okay for you to get through with everything that you're going through and you still living and you still breathing drown that man somebody take Paul out no no no no no in the mother's womb he was separated and God knew that even as he was being brought up he wasn't going to be brought up like the normal Christian would he was going to be brought up committing all types of sinful

acts against God and God says what I have still chosen this one one specifically and check this out let's go to acts Acts chapter n if you go to Acts chapter n let's actually actually read what Jesus Christ has to say in Acts chapter 9 if you go to verse 15 it says but the Lord said unto him who is he talking to the Lord is talking to ananas ananas okay ananas is to deliver a message to Paul ananas don't want to do this CU ananas like God what are you talking about you talking to Paul this guy has been persecuting Christians like he's not one of us he's not

like us in the words of y'all know what I'm talking about in the words of Kendrick Lamar they not like us Paul is not like us but in verse 15 it says but the Lord said unto him go thy way for he is a chosen vessel unto me to what to Bear my name before the Gentiles and Kings and the children of Israel wait a minute this is Jesus speaking he is a chosen vessel and I have to ask myself the question despite the stuff that I've done in my life up until this point the only reason that I have not been taken out is because God still has an

assignment for me to do the only reason there's breath in your lungs right now and you're able to watch this video right here right now it's because God has chosen you and there's still something for you to do you are a chosen vessel you are and because you're a chosen vessel those of you who are believers in Jesus Christ have received the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost is only going to testify of the things of God first and foremost just like Jesus is going going to speak what the what it hears the father speak and it's going to come and give you the conviction not condemnation but it's going to

convict us of sins and it's going to begin this sanctifying process the conviction of sin sanctifies us it cleanses us and then as it cleanses us we start to develop This Heart of Christ and we start to have a conviction to one to go out into the world make disciples preach into the Nations that other people are saved and healed baptized in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Ghost we want to we want we feel the need to save people we want to help people the reason why I'm so compelled to preach is not because my flesh wants to do it it's not because this

is something I said I'm going grow up doing my when I grow up I'm just going to be a preacher when I grow up this what I'm going do no quite honestly that's not what I wanted to do okay that's not what I wanted to do growing growing up this this is not what I thought I was going to be doing but this is where I find myself as God keeps convicting me I want to save as much Souls as possible I want to teach this word to as many people as I can teach I want to pray for as many people as I can pray for I want to

do as much for God right as I'm here on this Earthly Kingdom before I go to my heavenly Kingdom I want to do as much for Christ as I can that's why I go as hard as I do but it's because it's the Holy Spirit that's convicted me to do these things yo I used to be somebody who every other sentence I was I had to say the curse word I had to curse I love cursing I used to emphasize my cursed words it used to be bad man used to be ugly I'm getting angry all the time for no reason and I'm cursing on top of that so much

pride so much ego objectifying woman looking at them in ways I shouldn't be looking at them fallen short heavily to pornography addicted to alcohol dairies to go come on fornicating having premarital sex before before before a ring on my hand the list goes on my leaders I should not be here right now but you know what Paul says check this what Paul says I want y'all to read this Paul says this in his epistle in first Timothy First Timothy ironically all these verses on uh are 15 whatever that that means I'm just noticing that why am I giving y'all the 15 verse of each chapter chapter so 1 Timothy verse1

15 he says this it says this is a faithful saying and worthy of all exception that Christ Jesus came into the world to save Sinners of whom I am am the chief of whom I am the chief Paul admits that Christ came here to save Sinners and of whom I am the leader of the Sinners all right and I want to put my hand up too I may not be as bad as some folks but I do at times feel like I am the leader of the siners okay y'all should have seen my Twitter account back in the day it was vulgar profanity it was just bad I am a

leader of the Sinners but the grace of Jesus Christ abounds so much that he would choose me and the reason I'm harking on myself and talking about myself like this is so that I know right now as many of you all y'all feel the same way let's just keep it 100 we all fall short of the glory and I'm saying this not to beat myself up I continuously repent every day and I ask God for forgiveness I always know I'm falling short of the glory some way some shape some fashion but there's people watching this video right now and you just can't seem to get over the fact that God

has chosen you you can't you still can't get over the fact that although you're a broken vessel you you're going through some stuff you still hav't overcome things you just feel like you can't be used and that's why I'm doing this video because to be honest there's times where I could fall into that same place and I have to be reminded yes I'm not perfect but I'm perfecting perfecting because of Jesus through his blood through surrendering whatever Perfection I think I have I'm giving my life to him and every single day as I give my life to him and I Surrender my life to him I allow him to just

Lord you know how I am just use me use me and cleanse me as much as you can cleanse me even before this video I'm praying to God God if you don't use me I don't know what I'm going to do I'm going turn into something I ain't supposed to be my lady you got to recognize regardless of your past in which you still dealing with you will overcome through the strength that has been gifted to you by Jesus Christ but you need to realize that even now God chose you to spite okay he chose you to spite in in his eyes you're perfect you're enough oh yeah yeah yeah

all that extra stuff he's the one that makes us blemish free in Ephesians before I married my wife God gave me the word in Ephesians about how he cleanses us and he washes our blemishes through the watering of the word of God and as long as you continuously are leaning on Jesus getting in your word this is what cleanses us we can't go to God clean this cleanses Us in repenting every single day and looking to turn from our own own ways and not just looking to willingly participate in our sins with no contrite heart or convicted Spirit you're being perfected if you don't have any more taste for some

of the things that you used to have a taste for and now you just you feel like dang I'm winning this fight now you're being cleansed you're starting to change your ways you may change your environments you may change your group of individuals you're hanging with you're changing some of the things you watch you're changing some of the stuff that just you're saying you're changing not because you want to be perfect but because you just ain't got no there's some things I ain't got no appetite for no more I don't got an appetite for cursing all the time I'm trying to build a family I'm trying to grow a community

I'm trying to impart some wisdom and some biblical principles I can't trying to impart all the other stuff that's not going to help you I'm trying to pour into you the best that I possibly can I'm only trying the best that I can and so I say this to say my leader before I close this video I need you to understand how much God loves you and if God can use Paul a murderer somebody who's the biggest sin today in this world is the rejection of Jesus Christ the unbelief if God can use Paul like I said I asked why' you use Paul Paul's perfect for the assignment he's perfect

for the people that he's going to minister to he's perfect for the people that he's going to talk to I said God why' you use me he said Michael you're perfect for those people who are going through anxiety and depression yep you're perfect for those people who were addicted to alcohol you are amongst the chief of them you're perfect for those people who feel like yo they just can't stop smoking the weed they feel like they have to have the weed cuz you was smoking weed every morning every night and throughout the day like you know what it you know what that looks like you know how it is to

be broken free and don't even feel the need for it there's somebody else right now that wants to feel that same Freedom you're perfect for it and yeah I gave you Grace when you were doing it but I took you out of that cuz I want you to take some more people out one thing that I've been reading uh I think about this book called Andrew Moray and uh I said book the uh the the author and it's the book called The Christlike spirit and one thing that he talks about is literally when we come into the conviction of the Holy Spirit and we allow the Holy Spirit to lead

and we come into the presence of God it should not just be just so we can be in God's presence that's one aspect but now we should start wanting to be God's hands and his feet and wanting to go out into the world world I mean willing to Die to Save the next person I know it sounds radical but that's what Paul wanted to do so my leaders the next time you're thinking about man why me because you're a chosen vessel just like Paul to do God's will and you may not know what that is just yet but I promise you as you continuously surrender to guide and allow the

Holy Ghost who's the revealer of all truth to lead you you're going to figure out your assignment and one of the first things that you can do is find a way to give back to the community find a way to serve find a way to help those who are in need find a way maybe it's Financial Resources maybe it's clothes maybe you can bake some food for somebody maybe you can go to the 7-Eleven and somebody waiting just waiting for a meal to find a way each week each month to just begin serving and as you begin serving Watch What What Happens watch what begins to happen you start to

see like dang I kind of see what God wants me to do because it's always going to be some form of servant Christ says to the disciples who are arguing who is the greatest amongst us who is to be the greatest and he says the greatest is going to be that who who is serving the one who's serving and becomes the servant that's the greatest Jesus didn't come to be served he came to serve all right so that's what I want to leave y'all with in this video today you may not feel like you can be used but I guarantee you there's people who have done far worse than you

could even imagine and God is using them right now all right Bel leaders so let's pray dear Lord heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord father we just want to say thank you today for this time thank you for this hour thank you for this peace Lord thank you for this word Lord you use Paul as an example he was doing some of the most tumultuous things that seem really unforgivable but Lord You're a merciful god you're forg God and so Lord I'm praying that this leader who's watching this video today will know that you have Grace you have a mercy that abounds and you love this

leader and you're literally saying hey keep coming to me and I'm going to send you out I'm going to show you your assignment I'm going to show you your purpose I'm going to show you your worth and your value you are worthy you are valuable despite so Lord we come to you today and we just repent right now we repent for any sin that we've done to go against your will we repent for any sin that disrespected you we just repent and we ask that you would lead us and you would turn us into the right direction father make our crcket way straight and lead us if you can give

Paul a mission and a purpose Lord give me a mission give my leader a mission and reveal it to us show us how purposeful we are show us how on time you are Lord God but show us why we've been a chosen vessel so father I just want to say thank you for this message thank you for this lead lead's life I pray that when this leader leaves that their life is blessed that they're at peace and that they feel this new sense of love and conviction may they share this video with somebody else that needs to hear this word father we love you we thank you and it's in
