Discovering Your Identity in Christ (Proverbs 18:16)

all right my leaders yo welcome welcome welcome you are really at my crib right now today's goingon to be a little different um I know this is a late night message and I'm talking like this because my wife is sleeping and I don't want to wake her up normally I'm outside and we're jumping up and down it's a big party but today I kind of got to be a little quiet right now so my wife can sleep sleep um and I wanted to stick to the vlogmas trying to go every day this month and I thank everybody who's been showing up I thank the new people that's been showing up

as well too I'm getting comments from Ethiopia I'm getting emails from individuals in England I'm getting emails from individuals in London and I've had the opportunity to communicate with many of you all and so this is this vlogmas actually pretty dope so today I don't got a crazy message for you I have a another message for you tomorrow that's going to blow your mind at least in my opinion but today is really about what's right there something I have on this wall in my crib to remind me of why I do exactly what I do okay why I've been coming so hard every single month since I believe February 2015

now okay I've been on this YouTube thing for that long and um to be honest with you the idea of where I thought I would be number-wise far greater you know my early videos I used to have the Subscribe button used to have the number one million at the bottom of it because that was a goal of mine to reach a million million and I want to reach Millions but what God has shown me is with this consistency as I keep showing up as I keep speaking to you leaders what I've seen is I've met some of the most amazing people on this YouTube Journey believe it or not at

the number count that I that I'm at at the numbers that I typically average it's like a small group Community um like a average about 30 50 of you all um and then months down the line the increase happens but really the small group of leaders that watch this video y'all are very special individuals that come across this video a lot of y'all leaders a lot of y'all are growing in your leadership and when I really say leadership I'm saying y'all are growing in your spiritual journey your spiritual walk you're building your faith if you're watching this video today you're somebody who is constantly looking to improve and you're looking

to grow um that's my life okay and you're looking for that fuel that's going to keep you pressing forward along this journey that Jesus has you walking on you've been called all right you've literally been called by Jesus and he's looking to have you do something on this race of life before we get to this next life and on this wall it says the world needs who you were made to be okay the world needs who you were made to be this reminds me of the scripture Proverbs 18:16 one of my favorite scriptures because it says that a man's gift will make room for him and lead him before a

great man and versions it says Kings that's pretty much leaders a man's gift will lead him before a great man all right and it will make room for him him and as much as I have big dreams and big goals and even higher aspirations I can attest to proverbs 18:16 my my gifts this calling of mine to motivate and Inspire faith and confidence in each and every single person that I meet so that they can go towards their gifting has allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people you know these past 10 years I haven't been rich in finances but it's like one of my uh my University

profess said back in the day and I'll never forget it he said it just like this he said I may not have a lot of money and I may not be rich in finances but I'm rich in in relationships my laders I'm very wealthy when it comes to relationships I'm fortunate to meet individuals that truly they inspire me they've impacted me they've influenced me they've pushed me and I've also had the ability to pour into them as well too along this journey my gift has also allowed me to meet my wife you know I'm Nigerian so if you know anything about Nigerians man we're very hardworking we're very ambitious and

at the top of the list is Financial Security having a good job a stable career and um these were the things especially money and finances I thought that I was going to have like six figures in the bank before I met my wife or before I was going to be ready to meet my wife and the Lord had to rebuke me on my journey to become a pre pharmacist all right never finished the pre- pharmacy degree but I was on that trajectory and he had to show me that your your confidence should never be in silver and gold it should never be in riches because the scripture says that money

it grows wings is here today and it's gone tomorrow that's not the foundation that determines if you're ready for a wife the foundation God was showing me that I was ready for my wife was my faith my walk with Jesus Christ for those who don't know my testimonial of Jesus Christ saved me from stupid addiction I play basketball my whole life and eventually I didn't know what I wanted to do after high school so I tried to do the pharmacy thing which my mother wanted to do I wanted to please my Nigerian parents shout out to y'all and I end up getting severely depressed along this journey I'm doing weed

for the first time I don't got an issue with medicinal marijuana but for me I'm doing this to drown out my reality I'm trying things cuz is a peer pressure for the first time I'm drinking alcohol alcohol heavy I'm going out every weekend we're drinking I got daquaries to go I'm drinking daquaries to go all the time before I get into work I'm drunk things like that if you're a believer in Christ I'm shacking up I'm living in the same house all right with a woman that's not my wife right and we're engaged ing in premarital sex we're just in sin and throughout that time I'm still trying to live

for God I got one foot in the world another foot trying to understand who God is but the marijuana the sex the alcohol also drowning in pornography which at the time I didn't think was a bad thing cuz I was in the world completely in the world and when you're in the world like that and Satan has bribe you with all of these things that look like gifts they're really not gifts at all they're things that I hear today and they're gone gone tomorrow the greatest gift that I've ever received in my life first and foremost before the anointing and the stuff that he's called me to do the greatest

gift I've ever received in my life was Jesus Christ coming into my life back in 2014 when I wanted to commit suicide you talk about a gift that's going to make room we first got to tailor this thing back to Jesus Christ not the activities that I'm able to do not the skill set you may be great at music not the musician that you are you may be somebody able to write screen plays oh man not the not the screen plays not the talent that you do even that gives you the most income right not those things that you are absolutely like wow people notice it on you before any

of those things Jesus is the greatest gift that I could have ever received when I said you know what God I know who everybody else says you are but during the day where I wanted to commit suicide I said Lord if you're who you say you are I need you to come into my life today not in the next five minutes not in the next 30 minutes I need you right here right now or I'm going to do something real stupid and because God is such a loving God and he's a God that does not hide when you call out his name guess what Jesus Christ did 2014 he came

into my life and stopped me from a day of suicide and I wouldn't be here right now and in answering this call he's made room for me he's led me before great people I'm not waiting on a day tomorrow to meet the next great person or some imaginary individual or king or leader that I've yet to meet I'm going to meet more those people but the people that I have met so far has been because Jesus Christ has made a way and in receiving Jesus and him gifting me with the Holy Ghost the helper then all of the other gifts and talents began to be magnified and he doesn't just

magnify you for a reason so if he gave you an in a instrument like this instrument over here the ability to play the guitar he won't just give it to you just so you can get the glory or you can get the praise he's going to give it to you so that you can be a Healer all right he's going to use your anointing you're going to be able to break yolks you're going to be able to vessel the holy Spirit like some people need to hear your music in order to even feel connected to God some folks got to hear me speak my voice is the voice some people

hear the way I say things my mannerisms the way I break certain things down it may not be like some other folks but it's not supposed to be that that way when God gives you this gift it's for the kingdom of Christ it's for the body of Christ it's also for those sheep that are lost as many sheep that are lost they don't know God and the Lord is waiting for you to pick up your call so that you can be used and the first call if you haven't picked it up is accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you see I wish I had it next to me but

I don't one thing that people don't realize about my book and if you made it this far in the video you're special breed of people and I and I'll expose this what people don't realize there's a certain as interactive as my book is every chapter is going to lead you to have in t to open the Bible okay every chapter has reflection questions leadership challenges that you're going to end up telling your own Story by the time you finish this book but inside the book secretly put is a place for you to confess Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and make a commitment and why do I do that

I had to put that in the book Because as great as all the other principles are you can't even truly begin to follow the book If you don't believe that Jesus is King and if you don't make him Lord over your life there was somebody that asked me the other day he said man I don't know how you speak in front of the camera like this I don't know how you openly reveal about pornography your weed addiction alcohol addiction how do you even open about these things and I told him I said it's not out of my strength because if it was up to me my mouth would be zipped

it's because because of the calling when you got a call call and you will walk in this walk and you have surrendered your life to Jesus you begin to do things that are truly Supernatural out of the ordinary okay things you wouldn't think about about doing you find a necessity to do it because it's not you utilizing Your Vessel it's the Holy Spirit using you okay so my leaders I share this video because the world needs who you were made to be be and I don't know who that is is but part of my mission in life someone who eventually wants to become a pastor not because I want to

but because the call has been on my life since a young age I'm here to Shepherd you but I'm also here to equip you so that you literally can do that very thing somebody needs you to be who you were made to be and a part of me if I don't share the fact that it's Jesus Christ that's enabling me to do what I'm called to do and help the individuals I've been able to help up until this point I would be holding back the what they call the secret sauce the secret sauce is not my strength it's not my ability it's not the depth of my voice it's nothing

that I'm doing it's Jesus using my vessel to speak to you and if you hear the sound of my voice today and you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as Lord I open up the invitation for you to accept Jesus is something as simple as accepting Jesus as Lord and confessing this with your mouth my leader if you have already accepted Christ and you find yourself not being who God has called you to be one thing I need you to look at is what are those distractions what are the strongholds what are the sacrifices and what things do you need to let go of this season so that you can cuz I'm

telling you as you answer the call it's going to be the greatest decision that you've ever made because internally you want to make impact one of the greatest feelings I experience is when I'm able to make impact when I know that I've touched somebody something connected somebody just the dots the dots connected somebody just got a revelation and it changed their whole life you are looking to make impact go make the impact because the world needs you okay to be who God made you to be heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ father I want to thank you for this time I want to thank you for this

hour L I thank you for allowing us to be who you've called us to be be unapologetically you know who we are you know what we've done in the past you forgiven us of our sins and Lord you know exactly what we're supposed to be doing and I'm praying that this leader he here today today will begin using the gift that you have blessed them with and that they don't believe that it's a waste of time the enemy wants them to think it's a waste of time nobody's going to hear me nobody's going to to listen I'm not ready father this imposter Syndrome has gone on for far way too

long may this leader wake up and begin walking in the gifting and Lord for those who are watching this video who have not accepted you as Lord father I pray that in this time that they confess right now that today they make you their Lord that Jesus is King over my life and that they confess him with their mouth and that they receive him through faith for God we've been Sav by grace through faith and we thank you for forgiving us so father father tonight do a miraculous work like let them feel the Holy Ghost your presence let something shift in their mind let something change in the atmosphere let

them get a new Fresh revelation of who you you are and let them walk in there gifting have them read and meditate on Proverbs Proverbs 18:16 their life would never be the same it will never be the same to those that accept you they are a new creation in you their life will never be the same so father we thank you for this time we thank you for this hour we love you and it's in Jesus mighty name that we pray amen amen amen I love you my leaders but Jesus Christ loves you more all right now I need y'all to get out of my apartment see you in the
