Gods Grace Sustains Me - His Grace Is Sufficient

Myas Myer thank you for joining me on today's video I got a special message for you today I'm going to do something a little different in my I'm going to read out of my journal today today's more of a reflective video this is some of the reflective things that I do when I'm doing Bible study and I'm taking notes and I believe this is going to impact you in a beautiful way okay so if you got your I want you to go ahead and turn over to 2 Corinthians 12 I want y' to go down to verse 9 we're going to read this passage but before I read this passage

let's keep impacting and let's help one another impact the globe all right my leaders but let's pray dear Lord heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ father I just want to say thank you for this time thank you for this hour thank you for this moment Lord God thank you for this message thank you for this leader that's watching this video right now father I pray as they listen to this video that they get a message from it they get a word they get a revelation there's Deliverance there's healing there is peace that somebody is set free today I don't know what they came in this video with

but Lord I'm praying that even now that they're not going to exit and leave this video with it Lord may this video do exactly what it's supposed to do for the viewer the one that is called to this video the one that happens to be watching this video right now let them get the whole word heavenly father and Lord lead me give me the words to speak the words to share father I only seek to make impact right now God so Lord allow me to be open allow me to be vulnerable allow me to be transparent transparent Lord God we ask that you be in the midst of this video

in the midst of this time go before us right now prepare the mind of this leader that when this word is dropped that it produces a 30 fold a 60-fold a hundredfold increase in their life God we seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus we love you God it's in your precious son Jesus mighty name that we pray amen amen amen my leaders today I had to ask the question that I want you all to ask I was doing my Bible study in I'm in the book of Galatians right now on one of my studies and there's a book that I've been reading that had made me ask a

specific question as I'm reflecting on Galatians and one of the questions was in my life right now am I led by a set of rules that I've made or am I led by God's grace and as I'm asking that question I begin to write down in my journal I think I need help understanding more about God's grace and I think that God's grace I need to understand how to allow his grace to be evident in a myriad of areas in my life and so I had to title this message message that God's grace sustains me God's grace sustains me and here's what I had to write in my journal and

I want y'all to know if y'all feel this way this is for anybody that feels as though you know I don't feel like I'm doing enough like I don't feel like I'm doing enough sometimes I I set out to make some plans I set out to continue doing certain things and and have a streak but I lose my streak sometimes I'm not having the days that I want to have it don't seem like this was a perfect day because I Ain I ain't check off my to-do list I didn't check off the boxes I didn't call everybody I had to call I did I wasn't as peaceful as I could

have been I may have got angry today I may have been thinking thoughts that I shouldn't have thought today so many different things we just feel like Lord am I doing enough like I'm always thinking about my performance and this video is for you you're watching this video and you feel like you underperforming and you just not living up to the glory of God and you just feel like this has been happening week after week year after year you're just like dang God how can you even use me and are you using me and can I be used I just want to be perfect if you ever feel like you

just want to be perfect at times I want to speak directly to you okay if you ever feel like dang man you just can't get it right I want to speak directly to you because these are the times where I'll be feeling the same way and God had to speak to me about this as I answered this this question so one verse I'm going to read I'm not going to break this thing down EX extensively the whole chapter but I'm going to read this and then I'm going to read my uh journal and I just want us to hold this St about what God tells Paul I just said that

God is the one that sustains me and I just want us to read this verse 9 we all know this verse but this what the Lord tells Paul my grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness now I've done another video where I break this whole chapter down and I'll do it again in the future but right now I just want to focus on this thought this scripture right here my grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness as I'm holding that scripture in my mind in my journals as I reflect okay this is some truth that I came to

express I said there are times when I feel as though I haven't done enough to be perfect before the Lord or to do the things in which he has called me to do and when I fall short of the glory due to sin I must remember to repent and have Grace on myself it's not my works that make me complete in Christ it's my faith in him and in him alone I must remember that God has the power and the ability to do far more than I can ever do no matter how hard I strive no matter how perfect my streak or even when I lose my streak Jesus Christ

still loves me dearly I must change the way I look at Grace even in every area of my life if I don't see grace God's grace the one that he has for me it will be impossible to have Grace on those that I love those that I lead in the community around me Grace says that God is enough God is sufficient and that word sufficient literally means enough it means as much as is needed Grace is as much as is needed I'm going to say that again Grace means as much as is needed God's grace is more sufficient than my rules I'm I'm I'mma hark on that again God's grace

is more sufficient than my rules one of the reasons why we feel this intense level of guilt when we don't live up to our rules and our expectation is because we're leaning on our own understanding this what the Holy Spirit had to reveal to me you're leaning on your own understanding you're leaning on the fact that you've made these rules and these rules seem adequate they seem righteous they seem right they seem beautiful and although those rules maybe are they're not according to God's standards of what it takes for him to love you they're not according to God's standards of what it takes for him to work in your life

in fact many of these rules that we set out to do we do it without the the leading of the Holy Ghost we do these things that we have we ain't even go to God to pray about the idea of the rules and the things that we set out to do we just do them even if they're in a space of Good Intentions we just do them but the beautiful thing when we start reading about the life of Paul and even Paul's Ministry unto the Gentiles one thing that he emphasized Reales very closely is that our faith that we receive and are justified by is in the faith of Jesus

Christ our Salvation is through faith just believing on him it's not in our performance it's not in our perfect streak it's not in our perfectly crafted days or our perfectly crafted week weeks it's not because we've done everything right and we're doing everything perfect no no no no no the way we are justified by Jesus Christ is through faith it's through faith and I'm reminded as I'm thinking about all these perfect days and these perfect perfect streaks and how when I don't meet up and I meet my expectations how how disappointed and distraught that I feel but then I go back to this verse and I'm reminded about Paul praying

and praying earnestly for this stor to be removed and this storn is never removed but God has the audacity to tell him that my grace is sufficient for thee so Paul my grace is enough [Music] [Music] my grace is all that's needed and in fact Paul my strength is made perfect in weakness so when you finally finally realize that you can't actually live out the perfect plans in which you've made in your own flesh in your own will with your own understanding under your own desires when you finally realize that all your striving is futile my strength is made perfect in weakness now that the flesh realizes that it can't

your spirit realizes that it can and it doesn't realize that it can it just can Jesus says that the flesh is weak but the spirit the spirit is willing the spirit is always able to do the things of Christ but once again this is not about performance because God loves you regardless of your performance God loves me regardless of the ideas that I said I want to go out and do and haven't been able to truly just stick to it to the tea the behavior that I truly want to operate in that I haven't been able to behave perfectly in he loves me beyond that and I had to write

a couple points down is that one three there's three things one his standard is higher and greater than my standard standard so God has mercy on me and not condemnation when I don't meet my Earthly standards and the things that I set out to do the very first thing that I do to myself is I condemn myself I condemn myself I reticule myself I may call myself a name I may get down like dang man ah rightfully so I didn't me I didn't meet my goal but I can't keep condemning myself because Romans 8 speaks about there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not

after the flesh but after the spirit so if I'm condemning myself because I having met my standard once again I'm walking according to the flesh hallelujah holy ghost can I speak this [Music] [Music] word can I speak this word when I'm condemning myself let me say that again Romans 8 chapter 1 I said no Romans 8 verse1 it says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit so when I'm literally walking in the flesh is the only way that I can enter a space of condemnation but when I'm walking according to the spirit I'm walking according to

the spirit of Grace and in that Grace there's a freedom in that Grace there's Mercy in that Grace there is no condemnation in that Grace there's a realization that Christ is Enough God Is Enough God let your will be done not the will of My Flesh but let your will be done second point he carries what we cannot where we see failure he sees an opportunity for his power to shine where we see failure you just fell short of the glory of God you just relapsed you just went back to something you weren't supposed to go back to you just did something that you said you would never do before

you feel guilty you feel shameful you feel weak in the flesh there goes that word you feel weak again the flesh is weak you went towards your flesh again you feel weak this is the area for God's power and his might to shine this is the area for him to get the glory in a new testimonial story this is why I have my testimonial of wanting to commit suicide back in 2014 My Flesh was ultimately weak in all my striving I got to the point of breaking down to the point where Lord I don't have no confidence in my flesh I don't have no ability to move forward but guess

what in that area of weakness what did God do his strength was glorified it was magnified it's what picked me up is what lifted me when you think about your life and what God literally took you out of when your flesh ultimately was weak God took that opportunity to pick you up because his standard is higher than my standard I don't care how perfect my plan looks I don't care how great the strategy that I've written down God is going to order my step man we plan but God orders the steps so if I'm inadequate or incapable of taking this step in this page it's okay at the end of

the day as as I'm submitted to the Holy Spirit surrendered to God in love for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ doing everything I can to just be obedient God is going to make my crooked way straight even no matter if the enemy has done something with the Enemy meant for evil God will use for your good so he carries what we cannot it was never meant for me to carry all of those ideas and all of those things I'm striving to do I need to give it to God once again this is about Grace God's grace is sufficient sufficient [Music] [Music] three he defines enough that's my favorite one

God is the one that defines sufficient he defines enough it's not based on performance but based on his love for us one of the things I had to write down on the side is that we we make rules so one of my rules I should have done more today God is saying what you did was enough another thing I should have been stronger today God saying my strength is made perfect in your weakness I I I should have done this God saying no no no no no what you did was is okay I I forgive you my grace is made perfect in your weakness but my grace is sufficient my

power is perfect I'm Sovereign over your life I got a standard for you I know where I expect you to go because Jeremiah 2911 said I have a plan and a hope and a future for you I have an expected end for you so even though you don't feel like you're doing everything that you're trying to live up to do according to your flesh when you let go right and just follow me follow me let go my yoke is easy all you are heavy burden my yoke is easy come to me give me your weight give me your problem and what I had to be liberated from today is this

need of just being perfect trying to overperform God I ain't done enough videos this week I don't think I prayed for enough people this week I don't think I served enough people this much I ain't get a chance to tie as much as I used to all of these things I want to do am I loving my wife the right way am I calling my brothers in Christ the way I need to call my brothers in Christ am I checking on my family the way I'm supposed to be checking on my all these standards and things that I I want to do I want to be phenomenal every single day

every week but but ultimately in all that striving and all that activity and all those EXT expectations the one thing I need to do more than all of those things is seek ye first the kingdom of God and and sit before his presence and get before the Lord and ask the Lord for strength and say God I know I want to do all these things but Lord right now right here I'm giving it all to you you can have it I can't hold all this way matter of fact me trying to live up to this expectation is stressing me out me trying to do all these things myself actually leading

me into deeper sin Lord I'm sorry that I tried to make a standards beyond your standard Lord I'm sorry that I couldn't understand that you will forgive me for what I've done Lord I'm sorry that it's hard for me to be content and have this Godly contentment but I just want to make it I just want to make an impact Lord I'm sorry help me help me realize that you just waking me up today with a blessing my family still being around and alive is a blessing the food and the provision that you've already given to me is a blessing I have more than I need right now father father

even if I didn't get anything else Lord You're enough your grace is enough but I thank you that even your the hand of Grace I thank you that your hand of Grace is on because my le the one thing we don't want is for God's grace his graceful hand to be off of us no no no let's thank God that his grace his hand is on us and we have such a powerful scripture like this that he can look at our infirmities and connect with it you know what it says in Hebrews and this is going to be the last verse I read in Hebrews chapter 5 talks about the

high priest in chapter 5 of Hebrews 5 is really going to be verse two but I'm going to start at one it says for every high priest taken from among men is ordained for man in the things pertaining to God that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sin who can have compassion on the ignorant and on them that are out of the way for that he himself also is compassed with infirmities our Lord and Savior Jesus [Music] [Music] Christ has compassion on us he has compassion on our weaknesses he has compassion on our Humanity no matter what you do he's no respector of man he don't care about

your title your title in society your title in the church he doesn't care about this he's no respector of men right so he doesn't he's not picking and choosing who is his favorite God loves all of us those are who his children he loves his children and quite frankly he even loves those that are in the world so much that he wants to save them because you and I were once in the world so God understands what you and I deal with and what we struggle with and what he's saying is that when we let this stuff go and when we lean on him then we'll have strength but what

God wants to do in this video right now is just free you of these unrealistic standards and expectations that you've put on your yourself we are born in sin we are of Flesh the flesh wants to do nothing that the spirit wants to do the flesh is going to eventually Decay and decease your spirit is eternal and so what God did for you and I in this video if you don't know Jesus one thing that I pray if that you get to know Jesus get to know the one that came here on this Earth Satan's playing fill to die for you and I and our sins and these feelings of

inadequacy and these feelings of being perfect we want to be perfect but God didn't see your sin he sees the blood of Jesus Jesus came and became the curse for you and I he died for us those feelings shame those feelings of guilt he died for those things and every time we come to God and we repent we ask for forgiveness you know what he does he forgives us you know what he tells us in the Bible to do if our brother sins seven times in one day right but repents and asks for forgiveness he tells us to forgive and he's not just telling us something that he's not going

to do he's doing that for us as well too so my leader before I close this video I just want to tell you something something the Lord is just prompting me today to ask myself hey Mike forgive yourself you need to forgive yourself that's part of having Grace forgive yourself okay forgive yourself for these thoughts forgive yourself for these doubts forgive yourself just forgive yourself and then ask the Lord for forgiveness there's going to be a a freedom that you're able to operate in my leaders remember God standard is hiding our standards he is the one that wants to hold the weight that we are trying to hold and lastly

he is the one that determines what's what's enough you may have got up this morning and all you did was hug on somebody today give a word of encouragement today God may have said hey that's enough that's all you did you may have fallen short but you got up and you repented and you ain't do nothing else you feel like you wasted your day God is saying hey you did enough today and his mercies are new every single day so I pray that this helps you understand how much God loves you it's not about your performance it's really just about your faith in Jesus Christ Don't Stop Believing in Christ

even now his grace is sufficient it's enough everything else is extra only then when we lean on to this Grace can we now begin to feel the indwelling of the Holy Ghost which is calling us forth to do his will let's pray dear Lord heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ father I thank you right now for this leader who watching this video to the end and I'm praying that you will continuously bless this leader father Lord I Thank you that you forgive us Lord we repent for our sin of not feeling like we just doing enough and wanting to just strive and Lord we we we repent

for not even understanding what it means that your grace is sufficient especially during those times that we are weak Lord we don't want to feel weak but Lord when we are weak father let us be strong in you from this day forward let us not be strong In the Flesh and think we got to perform our way to your grace no your grace is sufficient and your power and your strength is made Mighty in our weaknesses so God help us in our weaknesses help us when we're low help us when we're feeling shameful help us when we're feeling guilty help us when we're tired help us Jesus Christ understand that

your grace is sufficient Jesus Christ from this day forward Our Lives will never be the same Lord God because we're letting go we're asking you for forgiveness right now and we're saying that we forgive ourselves Jesus Lord we ask for you to lead us and guide us heavenly father and whatever we're doing that we don't need to do reveal it to us but God today we come into agreement with your word that your grace is sufficient thank you for loving us beyond our performance beyond what we do Beyond The Works of the law thank you for forgiving us and thank thank you for loving us just for us Loving You

Lord God and having faith in you father I'm praying that under the sound of my voice that this leader is healed that this leader begins to feel whole Lord God and whatever they came in with Lord that you will remove it right now in the name of Jesus that there will be a peace Hallelujah that falls on this leader right now God they are letting go they are shaking loose Hallelujah they're giving it to you it's yours it's not their problem no more God you for given them Heavenly Father Your Grace sustains them so father we thank you for sustaining us Lord I can feel your peace right now I
