My leaders, my leaders. Hey, listen. 7 minutes ago, I was stopped by the police. [Music] [Music] I'm over here running favors, serving the community, doing deliveries, and I get stopped by the police. I see them behind me. I don't think no I don't never think too much when cops are behind me. I know I'm I'm not riding dirty. I know I'm good. I know I'm clean. I know everything Gucci with me. At least that's what I believe. So he pulls me over and the phenomenal police comes out and he is very nice. Not aggressive, you know, not overbearing, just absolutely absolutely nice.

And he pulls me over because unfortunately he sees that I have an expired tag. and he sees this expired sticker, gets my license, and he says, "You know what? I'm going to let you off with a warning. I'm just going to take this ID. I'm going to go back to my car, and I'm going to give you a warning. Okay? Stay put." He's chilling. He's back there. I'm chilling. I don't think nothing of this ticket. Everything smooth. It's gravy. All right. policeman comes back and he gives me back my driver's license. He gives me the two tickets and he says, "Yep, that's it. Um, this is just a warning.

Make sure you take care of that, but there's something more troubling than these tickets." I said, I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "There's something more troubling than this warning." He said, "Had this been three hours ago and I pulled you over, I would have had to take you in." I said, "What are you talking about?" He said, "I pulled up your record and you actually have two class C warrants from years ago. Years ago. And had this been 5:00 p.m., I could have actually took you in handcuffs. And I was flabbergastic. I'm like, "What in the world did I do two years ago?

What did I do 3 years ago? What happened?" And he tells me, "Well, it looks like it could have been something minor like a traffic violation or um failure to appear in court or to pay some fines. But he said, "You're going to want to get these taken care of. I'm giving you a warning." Okay? But what I really realized at that moment, my leader, is that God was giving me grace. He could have still took me in. I could have still been in some handcuffs. handcuffs. Okay? But in that moment, he gave me grace. I leave and I look up my my little warrant.

I'm like, "Wow, something happened in 2023. Something happened in 2022. Failure to appear in court and a fine." And I'm like, "Wow, here I am driving this whole time these past few years, and I have no idea that I have a warrant. There's been a beautiful grace period." And what this reminded me of my leader is that truly when you think about it, I deserve because of something that I did before, I didn't deserve grace. I didn't deserve mercy. The facts were the facts. I deserve to be put in handcuffs and to be taken in for my offense. Warrant is an offense.

And it reminded me of the love of Jesus Christ. I deserve the punishment for my offense. But because of the love of my Lord and my Savior, he takes my offense. Hear me out, my leaders. Check this scripture out. Okay? Romans 4:25 says that Jesus was delivered for our offenses offenses and raised again for our justification. So that means that even though I was guilty, he already took the penalty. Okay. What should have been handcuffs was a reminder that God covers covers even my legal battles. He covers me from things that I'm going through here that I don't know of. He's covering me these through these years.

Like there's a path that I'm focused on. And as I focus on this path, God is always covering and protecting and guarding. And I got to say that I'm very honored and I'm very thankful. Okay. Today was a reminder of things that the Lord has already been doing behind closed doors. My leaders, there's things right now in your life that you may have done that have been offenses. Jesus paid and became the payment for those penalties. And this quick story just reminded me today of how thankful and how grateful I need to continuously be for God's grace and for his mercy.

Because today didn't have to go the way that it went. I could have got somebody that was aggressive. I could have had somebody who pulled me over with no heart of Jesus. I could have had somebody that was cold and saw a black African-American male and said, "Hey, it's game time. Let's let's let's take them." I could have had somebody that was stubborn. I could have had one of those moments. Instead, I had somebody to just, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, I need you to take care of those." God used one medium to bring my attention to some other things.

And I just want you to be reminded that God is a God who can bring to your attention other things that got to be taken care of. of. Okay? Okay? Out of one situation that may not be quite right. be on the lookout and be aware. I just thought I'd share this real quick with you all because it was fascinating to see God show his grace, God show his mercy, and reveal things that I got to get taken care of that were not on my radar. How awesome is God to do something like that?

And if he's done that for me, I know for a fact he's doing that for you as well, too. So my leaders remember God God in this scripture of today which I'm going to read again Romans 4:25 [Music] [Music] who was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our justification. God Jesus Christ was delivered for your offense and for my offense. He paid the ultimate price so that we could be free. I love you my ladies.
