“What’s The Point of All This?”

Yo, my leaders, something I want to share right now is very simple, but it's on my heart right now now as I was approaching doing this video in is to [music] truly tell you right now to not feel like what [music] you're doing is pointless. Listen, Listen, I was sitting there looking [music] through different things on my platform and I was appreciating the different comments [music] that have been coming through. And as I'm appreciating different comments [music] that are coming through, there was this video that I had uploaded. Okay? And [music] it's a video.

I spent so much time, you know, making sure that I had the P's and Q's, [laughter] [laughter] you know what I mean? I I made sure the edit was looking nice, the scriptures were laid about, and I'm like, "Yeah, man. When this one when this one hits, folks are going to be impacted. People are going to be connected, man. [music] Oh, they're going to love this one." Got a little worksheet that I had at the description below.

I'm like, "Yo, they about [music] to get this, man." And as I go to look at the video after about [music] maybe 5 days, you know, I see that the video had only gotten 10 views. Right now, this channel is not based on views. I'm not motivated to do these videos just on the views, okay? That's not what it is. But a part of me, if I'm being honest, wants to be able to get the type of reach reach where reaching thousands, if not millions of people. Why? Because I believe I have a word to impact folks. All right?

But as I'm looking at that video, part of me wanted to say this. Why upload the next video? I'm going to be real with you. What's the point? If you gonna put all this effort in these videos and it's not going to go anywhere, why upload another video? Why do this again? Why keep doing this again? Why keep doing this again? Hey yo, Mike, your platform ain't where it needs to be. Why keep doing this again? Slow reach, lack of growth that you would like to see. There's been growth behind closed doors, but what you're looking to see right now is not what you want.

It's not where you want to be at. You want greater impact. So, part of me is like, man, why why do the next video? Then I remember somebody coming up to be in my church. Like, yo, what you're putting out is so good. I'm being fed by this thing. He said, he said, "But man, you should be getting more views." [laughter] [laughter] He said that to me. He said, "You should be getting more views." But what the Lord reminded me once again is that the scripture that speaks about if a shepherd shepherd has a flock of sheep, okay, and one of the sheep goes astray, will that shepherd not leave

the 99 in order to go find the one. And when he finds that one, rejoice. Put him on his shoulders and rejoice because he found the one. Okay? And that's honestly how I feel. I truly feel at the end of the day when I'm reminded and I'm not in my flesh and I'm not in my feelings, okay? I'm reminded that these videos are specifically ultimately for one person. Could be you that's watching this right now. And when I'm pointing at you, it could be me sitting behind the computer editing this video. [laughter] It could be me re-watching this video.

I'm here because I have a word that I got to speak. in this word ultimately even if I don't realize how much it's going to impact is going to impact someone someone okay and it may be one person and that one person's life let me be honest with you it's important to Jesus Christ if you're watching this video right now your life is important to Jesus Christ he died on the cross for you and I okay he literally took his life laid it Now for you and I so that we can have salvation, be forgiven by the Father, and be able to enter in to a place that he has

prepared for us. So we can have this relationship with Aba, our father in heaven. heaven. So we can be friends with Jesus Christ. so that we can walk into all truth. Because who did he send? He sent the Holy Ghost. My leaders, when I was going astray, I remember back in college when I was on the wildest time doing the wildest things. things. This was a time where I needed one person. I needed one video. I needed one perspective. And I remember very vividly. I was watching somebody, it was a YouTube video.

[laughter] I'm watching this YouTube video and the dude is like, it's the most it's the most bootleg YouTube video, man. No production quality, nothing. But guess what? The dude is saying something real. He's just talking some honest truth. And as I'm listening to that video, bro, what he's saying to me is hitting me so hard. It's impacting me. And I'm like, yo, I'm binge watching. I may have been one of his only views, but what he had to say was so vital. What he had to say was more important because what did it do? It changed my life. life. It got my mind right.

during a time where I needed my mind right. So So what you're doing, what I'm doing at some level is bigger than just the views. That one view count is someone. someone. Those 10 views that I had on that video could have been somebody on the other side that was like myself. someone that needed that word, a lost sheep that when they heard that word stopped stopped completely completely thoughts of suicide got lifted up out of depression. depression. And here's the deal, my leaders. There's only certain things in this life that you can control.

And then there's other things that are completely out of your control, to be honest with you. And what I can't control is the fact that hey, I'm I'm motivated and I'm inspired to deliver this word, to give it to you because I know that you need it. And if all of a sudden God would love to bless the algorithm to give it to more people, then those are the people that need it. But what I'm saying is my leaders in the work that you're doing even if it's not to the degree in what you believe it's supposed to be in. Okay?

Like I know you have great expectations and I know you really want to excel and exceed in this thing. But even if it's at the starting stages and you feel like only a little people are getting affected, don't quit. Don't give up. Don't stop. Now is not the time for you to grow weary. There's a beauty in consistency. You [snorts] know, I just went to a a place called Mr. Natural where an individual just got honored today. today. 37 years in business and the dude is probably in his latter 80s or 90s and they gave him a special day, Mr. Natural. And he gave me some advice.

I asked him, "What would you what advice would you give?" He said, "Listen, I've made my life a lifestyle." And the lifestyle for him, this is a vegan shop. He said he'd been vegan since 17. He said since he opened the business, he never felt like he was working. He was having fun with this. And he said, "Young man," he said, "be consistent. Be consistent." And 37 years later, imagine there's probably a point in time where he probably felt like, "Hey man, I'mma give up.

I'm not going to do this no more." but 37 years later of affecting and changing a culture and a community and he says, "Hey man, have fun with what you're doing. Enjoy what you're doing." The reason why I still show up is because I love to speak words of life into people. This is what God has called me to do. And if I'm not doing it online, I'm doing it offline. You know what I'm doing? I'm doing it I'm doing it in my business. Ja Global Leadership. Okay, I'm speaking a word of life to somebody because I know that that one person, they need it.

And the people I'm called to, they're so impactful, they're so phenomenal that I know that man, if this person can break through what they're going through and get out of whatever is trying to hold them back, the sky is not even a limit factor. They're going to the moon. So my leaders, your impact that you're creating that you're going to create and you're going to begin, don't worry when there's days that just don't look like how you want it to look. Don't worry about the numbers. Don't worry about the views. Don't worry about the amount of people. Are you affecting at least one life? Because the number is one. one.

Are you affecting one life? Because Jesus Christ died on the cross for one life at a time. My life, your life. life. Those lives that are yet to come. You may be beginning something in today's time. It's not even for today. It's for it's for tomorrow's. It's for a future date. But God wants you to do this thing now. He's building you now. He's getting you ready and he's preparing you for a tomorrow date. Will you be prepared? Okay, my ladies, I just had to share this this because this was on my heart. I'm like, yo, I can't even speak about nothing else right now. Don't get distracted.

Keep making the impact that God is having you make. I'm promise you are making a difference. All right, my leaders, I want to share that video today. And father, I just pray against the tiredness of this leader that they're not growing weary in the time where they got to keep moving. They got to they got to realize it's a brand new day. There's one sheep out there.

There's a lot of harvest and the laborers are few. So, Father, I just pray that this laborer of yours remembers that it's about the one sheep, not the hundred thousand, not the not the 200,000. Even if it does get there, it's one life at a time. So, Father, I just pray that you refresh this leader today and allow them to continue to move forward and do everything that you have called them to do with excellence. Hallelujah. So, Father, we just want to say thank you for this time. Thank you for this word. Thank you for this message. And it's in your precious son Jesus mighty name that we pray. Amen.
