God Is Calling You Out of Darkness—Will You Answer?

My leaders, my leaders, my leaders. Hey, my leaders, thank you immensely for tuning in to Jazza's Mic, home of the world's toughest leaders. Today, I got a message that I want to share with you all who have been experiencing being in a space where you've been lost. Okay? You just feel like I need to find direction. I need to find my path forward. Okay? And this season I just feel like I'm stuck. And I want to speak to you and I got a scripture that I want to share in the book of John. Okay.

In John chapter one, if you read John chapter 1 verse 5, it says, "And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not." And the light shineth in darkness, and darkness comprehended it not. I want to touch on this again. I did a video, last video on this, but I'm going to do this again in a different way. I want to explain it a little bit differently today. Okay? So, I want to pray. Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, I ask that you will go before me right now and touch a leader in this video right here, right now, today, in this moment.

Father, share something with them that's going to lead them. Share something with them that's going to impact them, Lord. and just use me, use some examples, use some stories. Allow me to remember them right now specifically for this message today. Father, we thank you for this word, your word of truth, your infallible truth, Lord God, that leads us like a lamp upon our feet. Heavenly Father, so we thank you for this hour. We thank you for this moment in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen. Amen. Malitas. Right now, I'm literally on a video that's off of my computer right now.

I know this is a little bit different, but this is the format that I've been using to meet a lot of different people around the world. Right now, I'm having Google Meets, okay? Google Meets, Zoom calls, and we're connecting. Okay, we're connecting. And it's crazy because I started connecting more recently as my camera broke. Phone camera broke. My actual DSLR camera broke. And I'm like, dang, Lord help me. I can't do my short films. I can't do the production the way I want to do my production, right? And so I have my camera in Canon right now getting repaired as we speak and it's going to be coming in.

So I'll go back to normal videos or new style of videos coming forward. video is going to be better quality, but right now it's not about the quality of the image, more of the quality of the message. And what he's having me do is impact and touch one-on-one facetime. And so if you believe that, hey, you have something that you're going through, right, in your personal life that needs to be addressed, that you would like to address, something that you would like to go through and break through this season, and you feel like you need a coach, you need a mentor, you need somebody to help you.

And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. This season, there's many of us that have been in dark spaces.

And in these dark spaces that we've been in truly, like I said in my last video, there's a threshold that we haven't been able to overcome. Okay? And what the enemy would love to do is to keep us in this dark space this season so that we can't overcome. Okay? And one of the biggest things about overcoming, like we mentioned in the last video, was Jesus Christ. If we keep reading, there was a man sent from God whose name was John. And John's mission was in verse seven, the same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe.

The light that John was to bear witness was the light of Jesus Christ. And one of the ways in my coaching that we offer a light in the world, whether it comes to business and your personal and it's all connected. Throughout the years, I've been able to work with different artists, different musicians, different business owners, realators, you name it. And it all comes down to the fact that the light that we're looking to continuously seek and the light that we need is Jesus Christ.

And even if we have Jesus Christ in our life, one thing that I have the opportunity of doing is to shine deeper truths and deeper revelations of Christ in those areas that may not have Christ working as effectively. What does that mean that may not have Christ working as effectively? What it means is in those dark areas, we need to get a revelation of Christ. We need to get a revelation of Christ. Christ who is the light.

Meaning we need to understand how how does Christ fit in the involvement of this area and where in the word and his truth in scripture does he give me the profound wisdom on how to maneuver forward? One thing I was talking about with somebody this week was Solomon. And in Solomon, what we see in first kings chapter 3 is Solomon is asking the Lord who he's about to take place of David. David, his father, passes and he's to lead this great nation, okay? The children of Israel. And he's asking, "How do I govern all of these individuals?" David was a man after God's heart.

And David taught his son in the things of the word. And though David taught his son these things of the word, this how to have this relationship with God, how to go to God for wisdom, when it's time for David, when it's time for Solomon to rule, he asked the Lord for wisdom. That's what he was asking for, the knowledge to discern good and bad, good and evil. He needed discernment. And why did he need discernment?

Even though he had this relationship with God, he needed to understand, Lord, in this new season of my life where I'm about to enter this new role of leadership, I need the wisdom to be able to govern all of these people. I need this. How do I do it? And so God profoundly makes him wiser than any king that had ever existed outside of Jesus Christ. He had this profound divine wisdom that could only have came from God. And it was the light in dark areas.

And one thing I always ask for my platform, Jaja's Mike, and my business, Ja Global Leadership LLC, is Lord, I don't know how to govern all these people that I get to coach, that I get to minister to or that I get to do video or photography projects with. I don't I don't know exactly how to do this in my own flesh. But Lord, I'm always praying that Lord, may you give me wisdom to see a light in this area. Whenever somebody's working with me, it's not a one-sizefits-all in my coaching.

It's like, Lord, I don't know exactly what this person needs, but Father, I need wisdom that you would show me how to mentor this. And that's my approach. My approach that I take is prayer. I'm praying for individuals that it may that I may find a way to put his light in this situation, in this scenario, right? Or outside of business, even in disciplehip, whether I'm discipling somebody, it's the same thing. Lord God, how can I give this individual your light?

And how can we shine a light in their life where they can finally come out of this situation, be strengthened, be inspired, and go out and proclaim the gospel as witnesses, baptizing in the name of the father, son, and the holy ghost. Creating disciples themselves. How do we do these things? And it starts with our own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. when I was in the world and I was in darkness and I speak about it a lot in my book pick up your calling is calling fake principles for overcoming depression some of the things that I speak about in here are profound revelations that God has shined the light

in okay he shined the light and I needed to expose these areas in order to help people realize that the same thing that you're dealing with God showed me how to shine a And if he showed me how to shine the light in these areas, he's going to show you how to shine a light. And so if you haven't picked up a book, I encourage you. Myj.com, pick a book up. You're going to have to get a Bible. You're going to have to get a notebook. And you're going to have to answer real questions. This book leads you to some real reflective questions. And it's going to challenge you. Okay?

It's going to challenge you. Challenge you. And it's going to challenge what you're reading in your Bible. Why is all this direct towards Christ? Well, if we keep reading, it says in verse 7, the same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe. It said that in verse 8, he was not that light. So, John was not that light. I'm not that light. Okay? But it said he was sent to bear witness of that light. John was sent to bear witness of that light. He was called to teach about that light, preach about that light.

Let people know that light is coming. It's on the way. Okay? When you begin to witness, you get that experience with Jesus Christ. God is going to send you out and he's going to have you on an assignment. Every single last one of us. Why? Because this is the spirit of Christ. And there's one spirit. in that one spirit of the true living God, Aba our father, the spirit of Christ, the same spirit that rose Jesus Christ from the dead. That same spirit is one spirit that God Jesus Christ gifted us with when he went to the cross and he rose. He gifted us.

He said, "I'm going to send you the helper." And this helper only discerns it discerns the things of God the Father. So, it's only going to tell you to do things that only the father would tell you to do. And one of those things is going to be to bear witness. Why? So that others may come to the light and be saved. I don't want folks in that dark place that I was in. I know how that feels like. It don't feel good. It ain't good. It ain't nothing good about that dark place that I was in. It ain't nothing good about being lost. It ain't nothing good there.

And so I know if I felt like how I felt back then, no, I can't allow the people to feel the same way that's going through something right now. That's why I coach. That's why I mentor. That's why I built this business. I want to help people find the light and I want to be a part of servicing them. You know what I mean? So I want to be a light, man. You want to be a light. You want to be a light and God is going to make you a light.

And it says, it says this verse 10, he was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not. He came unto his own and his own received him not. Many times, and I'm going to read verse 12. But as many as received him, to them he gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. So there's a power that we receive. When we receive God, when we receive God, when I'm talking about God, when we receive the one who saved, Jesus saves. When we receive Jesus Christ, there's a power in that. Okay?

There's a power in that. And that's what we want. We need that power. Otherwise, without this power that God wants to give the sons of God who receive Jesus Christ as Lord, we will perpetually be in a dark season that we can't get out of. Okay? And so, even if you have received Christ and you feel like you're lost, remember all this means is you must remain patient and diligent in seeking him because he's going to reveal. It's not a God that's going to bring you this far and to let you go.

He said, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you." He didn't bring Abraham or Moses when they crossed the the Red Sea. He didn't leave them in this wilderness just for them not to make it out to the promised land. No, he promised to be with them. It's us that tend to as believers just start forsaking God. We stop leaning on him. We stop praying for wisdom. We stop praying for help. We stop truly trusting him. We stop spending time in our word. We stop seeking counsel. And so that's where we start to go astray. So my leaders, God wants you to be a light.

He wants me to be a light. Okay? And he wants you to receive the help that you need. And so, my leaders, man, this is what we're doing. As long as you're taking the next step towards what Jesus Christ is telling you to do, what he's telling you to do, you're good. When Jesus Christ performed his very first miracle and he turned the water into wine, the servants that were there simply had to be obedient.

They just had to be obedient. They didn't question him. Mary said, "Whatever he tells you to do, his mother, do it." She told that to the servants. And whatever Jesus Christ told them to do, they did it. Okay? And there was a miracle performed afterwards. So, if you're going to see God's hand in your life, if you're going to see a miracle, you want to take that next step. Okay? So, for some of y'all, that next step is literally, let's do a free call. Father, I rebuke any spirits that are discouraging them.

The folks that are not being walking with them through this journey, the people that don't understand, the ones that they want the support from that they may not be getting it from. Lord God, I pray Lord God against identity crisis. I pray against the spirit of depression and anxiety and all those that are lost. Lord, may this be the last year that they're wandering. May this be the last year that they're lost, Lord. Father, bring the people who need to come to this business right now towards this ministry and lead them. Heavenly Father, let's work with them.

If they hear your voice through me, allow them, Lord God, to click on the link below so that we can start building together. They don't have to do this alone. And I want them to know that, heavenly father, they don't have to go on this journey by themselves. So Lord God, you do what only you can do for this leader, Heavenly Father, and cover them and bless them and protect them.
