Stop Running From Your Calling: God Has a Plan for Your Life

Lord let's just talk about this openly my leaders I'm going to share something that I need to be open about I need to be very transparent about because I believe it's going to speak to you all I've been running I've been running I'mma say that again I have been running Lord you want me to speak about this I'll talk about it check this out my leaders I have been running from the call that God has placed on my life the call that's been prophesied the call that God has given me his own confirmation the call that continues to be confirmed time and time again year after year after year after

year I've been running away from my caller and it's so beautiful because today is a special day because today God officially confirmed to me again to feed my sheep I need you to feed my sheep I need you to be a Shepherd over my sheep and ironically Within These past 10 years of me leaving pre- Pharmacy God has had me on a path of learning exactly what it is that I need to do he's been pruning me he's been removing things that I used to enjoy certain desires like hiding me under his shadow covering me underneath his feathers and allowing me to maneuver with this space of Grace and I

need to share this with you because I believe that I'm called to speak to individuals also about callings and I want to really talk about this because he had me look at my book pick up your calling this calling fake principles for overcoming depression and key thing pick up your calling is calling you have me look at it you have me read it just just staring at me and I'm staring at it and I'm like what you looking at and the book is saying I'm looking at you because he here's the deal my leaders and I want to say this the way God wants me to say this so let's

pray first and foremost heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Lord God we thank you for this hour we thank you for this time we thank you for this moment father I thank you that you're allowing me to speak about this Lord you go before me Holy Spirit you reveal what you want me to say right now in this moment in this hour that's going to impact a specific leader that's watching this video today let me speak what I hear the father speaking to me and let this word be heard by the individuals that need to hear Lord your sheep they know your voice and so they will

be able to discern truth they will be able to discern the lie but father let me speak nothing but truth today and let me be open let me be honest and let me be vulnerable today guide me Lead Me in Jesus mighty name amen my my ladies I have been running away from the call to be a pastor so much so that I've wanted to do every single thing else but to become a pastor and why is that we live in a time where there's so much bashing there's so much ridicule and there's so much rejection that pass this face I happen to believe at this point in time pastors

who accept that call happen to be some of the most boldest people because you're looking rejection in the eye and I didn't even know I was going to take this turn but that's the reason why we pray thank you Holy Ghost my leaders the reason why I was running from my calling to be a pastor which had been confirmed so so many different times is because of the fear of rejection you all know me as being at first and foremost when I first got online many of y'all know me first as being a videographer and a photographer I've done phenomenal work with a lot of you all shout out to

n Marlene one of my favorite people to work with and it's been a passion of mine since maneuvering away from pre pre Pharmacy I was a pre- pharmacy major for many of y'all who don't know that's my background and I did pre- Pharmacy because that was the Nigerian thing to do I played basketball my whole life but I ended up having a heart situation that made me stop playing the game of ball so I didn't know what I wanted to do in my life truly and the next best thing was okay what do my parents want me to do and they wanted me to get into the medical field because

both of them are in the medical field and I commend that they wanted me to make a great living great great income but but in the midst of going towards pre Pharmacy once again me not going to God at the time CU I didn't go to God about it it led me to literally become depressed depressed okay so much so that if You' picked up my book pick up your calling this call I speak about this but it led to depression it led to me becoming addicted for the first time I'm I'm trying weed for the first time that's not for me maybe for some of you all it's just

not something that God wanted me to use I became addicted to alcohol alcohol with my best friend Dakar to go oh my gosh I told yall the story in another video but I became addicted to these things to cope with a path that was not from God I didn't have the closest relationship with Christ back then so I didn't know why I was going through what I was going through and but in high that I realize and I recognize very clearly when you are moving further and further away from your calling you tend to have to do things in order to cope with a reality that's truly not yours and

if you just heard that message right there you could probably leave the video cuz that was for somebody I was running away from my calling and so throughout these years though the grace and the blessing of God was he was not trying to have me be in this position just yet even back then because the word speaks about this very specifically and it talks about anybody that would like to be an overseer anybody like to be a bishop it should not be a new convert right God wants to build you up so within this past 10 years he's been building me up he's had me minister to individuals and be

become a Shepherd right caring for a flock and I've always was doing more than just a photography at the time I was always having consultations at the Starbucks and we would literally have a Deliverance at the the Starbucks we would have a Deliverance in these conversations but to truth be told in any my videography photography businesses they've never went beyond six figures and in in any particular year if I'm being quite honest for this decade I've never made more than even like $10,000 from the videography photography business as skilled as I became at doing portrait portrait photography the thing that God does a lot of times is he will Propel

you towards something that you truly have a passion for a desire um I love creating even now I love making films I love doing photography I love looking at the world a certain way and I love putting things together and in that desire it led me to start reading books like crazy during the Depression that I got out of it led me to start reading books like crazy so he started to build my character with the self help books all the leadership books the greats miles Monroe John C Maxwell I'm reading I'm talking about I go to Barnes & Nobles and I'm reading about seven books at a time like

I'm in a university and I'm jotting down I'm writing notes and he was building me up throughout this decade showing me how to Shepherd leading me to so many great people phenomenal woman of God that changed and revolutionized my life powerful man of God that I would have never met had I not been on this path and he was building me up and he was also showing me that I was capable of doing what they were capable of doing not knowing that I'm inspired by these people I'm inspired by these pastors for a reason I'm inspired by the late great Dr Miles Monroe for a reason I'm inspired by folks

like ET and Eric Thomas for a reason I'm inspired I'm loving the way that they're able to speak with so much conviction and help people get through what they're getting through because when I was going through my Dark Times these voices they were helping me get through my depression they were helping me overcome my anxiety so God was showing me something about my own reality this is something that I'm going to propel you towards but as stubborn as I was I continue to ignore it I continue to ignore it and so within this decade God has continuously shown me Michael I'm going to prepare you to get ready for a

position that I'm going to put you in and today was a beautiful day because today was the day where finally finally oh finally God has revealed to me Michael I'm preparing you sent me a dream for this pastoral road that I'm going to put you in and before I even say that God showed me how bad it was when it comes to my rejection and he showed me it in business doing photography videography I've been able to accomplish great things with a lot of with a lot of different people that I've had the opportunity to work with and in that space though he continued to show me in the area

of my pricing as well too just how much I didn't want to hear the words you know how much I wanted people to accept my pricing ultimately I wanted people to accept me I didn't want to get rejected and what the Lord had to build and take out of me was this desire to continuously people please and the reality that not everybody's going to like you not everybody is going to even care about what you're doing but ultimately not everybody's going to like you whether you're doing great and you're doing perfect people are going to criticize you and when you're lonely some people going to help you some people going

to once again criticize you you're going to be judged there's folks that going to reject you just for looking the way that you look just for talking the way that you talk just for being passionate about the thing that you're passionate about and for being great we see see the greats they get criticized like nobody else but here's the deal for this calling the beautiful thing is Jesus explains if they hated him they're going to hate you no servant is greater than their their master and what God had to remind me and reveal to me is that Michael I'm building you up for the people and just as Jesus Christ

got rejected and knew his mission knowing the day that he was going to die and being willing and ready to die for our sins to redeem us of our sins to become the propitiation for our sins the one that became the curse for our sins like what Jesus Christ took he took the rejection he took the false accusations that's going to be another video I'm going to speak about another time because the the accusations about Jesus alone is a video that's worthy of its own magnitude falsely accused even for doing the right thing killed and murdered by the very people that he wanted to help Michael I need you to

pick up that calling but God I don't want to be a pastor I don't want to be rejected but Michael don't some people reject you now what's the difference so he had me do a study on what the word pastor means if you have the KJV Bible the word Pastor is not in the Bible too often around eight times if so like 81 it's very it's very small and I asked God how am I going to learn about being a pastor if there's really not much mention of the word Pastor he showed me what that word Pastor actually means and the word pastor means Shepherd so if you're going to

do a study on what a pastor means it means you must do a study on what a Shepherd mean and when I start to look at the Good Shepherd it blew my mind because now I get to understand what it means and and I don't know why I had a big Revelation today about Jesus when he calls himself the Good Shepherd I don't know why I never looked at Jesus Christ as a pastor but that's what the word Shepherd means that's what the word pastor means it means Shepherd and then when you look at the characteristics of a shepherd He made me look at these things that I had to

say oh gosh Lord I've been doing those those things for a decade I've been ministering to your people for a decade this is what I love to do this is what I breathe I love to help people in the space of the spiritual growth I love to help like Minister and tend to the wounds of the sheep I love to hear them speak and talk about their concerns I love to hear their stories their life stories and maybe there's a way that I can intercede and provide a seed from God that's going to help them I love that I love to exhort and encourage and edify edify people and I

also have a soft space to rebuke with meekness everything that a pastor does ironically is everything that I've been doing doing naturally but that's by the grace of God am I perfect individual absolutely not like I was telling my wife today I don't understand truly what this next chapter in bodies but I do understand that I'm going to have to grow into this thing and I'm already doing it but the beauty of it is I'm ready for it I'm ready to pick up that cross all right he I got to pick up the cross and I got to accept whatever comes but what the word speaks about us too is

that do not be offended when these things come these trials and these tribulation comes why am I sharing this I'm sharing this because if you're watching this video today there may be a call on your life that you're not picking up because you don't want to be rejected you may not even think you're ready he says in Matthew I send you out as sheep among wolves but in another text I believe this is in I want to say John or Luke instead of using the word sheep the Bible uses the word lamb I send you forth as lamb Among Wolves and that word lamb is very crucial and vital because

a lamb is merely a baby sheep that has not fully developed its intestines so it needs to rely on the Milk of the mother it needs the provision so God sends us out although we are feeling like are inadequate and we are unprepared he sends us out as lamb Among Wolves knowing that similar to a lamb we need the provision from God always I need faith that God is with me I need faith that God you going to guide me down this journey you're going to lead me you're going to guide me you're going to lead me you're going to guide me you're going to lead me and the Lord

showed me as well too this is why I hadn't truly allow your videography photography business to just blow up like that because that ultimately is not your complete path if I would have allowed you to blow up in that area and make the type of income that you wanted to make you would have never even chosen to be a past because full-time Ministry requires faith and there's times where God is going to call you to do certain things where if you are solely relying on your money being your God you're not going to follow my path and my leaders that's where I was back then my money was my God

like back in 2014 before depression where I almost committed suicide and God Jesus Christ saved me from that day every time I looked at my bank account whatever was on my bank account that was what I felt my identity was and that's not good because imagine you just finished paying your bills at the first of the month imagine you finish paying your bills at the first of the month you ain't got no money you mean to tell me that this a you got a negative bank account and that's how you feel your your account is at zero you got 10 bucks in the bank and now that's how you feel

your worth is your bank account he had to rebuke me of this my my God was money my worth was in my account he had to show me that although this 10 years you ain't had no money baby he's rebuked so much stuff that there's a piece that I have and there's a breakthrough cuz Financial provision is coming I I appreciate everybody who's had an opportunity to purchase the book and this is not just a book this is a book to literally Minister you help you and guide you through this journey so that you don't Dodges the calling like I was dodging the calling I don't need nobody dodging their

calling because let me tell you something you don't have to wait 10 years the children of Israel didn't have to wander for 40 years there is a reality where you can wander through this life and never pick your calling up that's A Dark Truth everybody ain't just going to walk into it no no no no there is a reality where you walk forward and you don't pick that call up so what I'm in what I mean right now is I got to share this story because for me to a pastor right now one of the reason I ain't even want to become one like God they ain't make no money

and that's not true for everybody but that shouldn't be the posture the Lord talks about a the labor of God is worthy of his hire and throughout this decade he showed me how he provides when I just follow his path he provides it may not be when I want it how I want it but it always on time my family has not lacked anything matter of fact one of the scriptures a part of the scripture talks about how an overseer Bishop how they should also like there's a wife in there a man that has one wife and I thought to myself it didn't say nothing about the finances and what

God did for me was in the midst of this decade he brought my wife to me I thought in my Nigerian culture you supposed to have all the money in the bank first that's how I grew up that's how I was taught guys said no no no no no no no as long as you have Christ as long as you have me the wisdom that comes from Christ the surrender that comes from Christ the provision that comes from your heavenly father who says that he will withhold no good thing as long as you have me with you you're ready for this marriage my leaders I need you to understand that

you are ready for what God has for you he showed me this today once again he continues to send people to tell me feed my sheep feed my sheep my brother balford reminded me again feed my sheep brother ham reminded me when he blessed me back a few months ago this brother man that's a whole another story The Lord told him to feed my sheep and I remember I remember this those I have enough time to say this I can't get into that I can't get into I'm going share that testimony in all of his glory properly I'm not gonna Rush that one the Lord sends me another verse today

he says feed the flock of God this is First Peter chapter 5: 2 feed the flock of God which is among you taking the oversight thereof not by constraint but willingly not for filthy lucra but of a ready mind neither as being Lords over God's Heritage but being in samples to the flock God wants me to be an example to the flock he doesn't want me to do this thing for filthy lrae and filthy lra in other words for money for the greed of money I shouldn't just be trying to help people for the greed of money and so I had to check my posture because I do have a

business of being a certified life coach which is a noble as long as my pricing is fair as long as my pricing is not predicated on Greed and if someone cannot afford it and they still need the help I'm not to turn them away and and Let the Wolves of this world let the the lion who is this roaring lion that the Bible says the devil is like as a lion roaring around looking for who he could devour if I'm called to help somebody at the end of the day I'm I'm called to help somebody because I'm called to feed his sheep and if so that person chooses and is

able to serve me and help me for ministering to him let it be but if not the provision that I get comes from the Lord let me tell you why that's delivered me so much it's delivered me so much because once again it helps me lean on faith and the word says in Hebrews November 6 that it is impossible to please God without without faith for those that come to him must believe that he is and he is a rewarder for those that diligently seek him my leaders as I've been diligently seeking him so much things have been going on in my life so much losses repossessions victions like you

name it things have happened and what it's caused me to do is stay at his feet and it's called me to have provision and understanding like never before I messed around and remained at his feet for so long diligently day in and day out that he gave me the courage to even declare publicly that hey hey pastoral is coming this is what happens when we sit at the feet of Jesus like Mary did a lot of times we can get so busy serving we get so busy the cares of this world they come in and they choke up the word because we have all these desires we want to be

moving here we want to be moving there we want to be moving there we want to feel so comfortable but what happens when you're called to a season of discomfort my leaders if you're watching this video today I need you to truly pick up your calling regardless of what it looks like God is going to provide and when I say pick up your calling the first calling if you're watching this video and you haven't received Jesus Christ as your lord and savior I'm telling you it's going to be the greatest thing that you ever have done in your entire life because this strength that I have does not come from

my flesh My Flesh steals like what the heck am I doing I don't know what this looks like I don't know what the future holds but I'm at peace in the spirit this is what happens when you give your life to Jesus Christ when you lose your life the life that you have right now that you're living outside of Christ when you lose it for him he's going to direct you the Holy Ghost the reveal of all truth is going to direct you the word says in Isaiah that he will make your crooked ways straight so if you feel like you're struggling with some things God is going to make

your crooked way straight he's made my crooked way straight it took about 10 years but finally it happened and ironically many of y'all don't know my age but I'm 33 years old ironically at the age of 33 I would finally accept the call now for me it's about now talking more to my spiritual leaders my spiritual mentors getting mentored as well too allowing the Holy Ghost to show me how to do this so my leaders I share this testimonial to share with you that God will speak to you if you ask him what is my calling this season what do you want me to become what do you want me

to do and God's will will always align with his character his will will never not align with his character so if you're doing things outside of God's character I'm guaranteed right now you're out of alignment that's what he was showing me in a moment I start to give up certain things I started to throw away the weed that he didn't want me to no knock to no knock to the weed we understand it can help you alleviate the stress we understand that sometimes you're depressed and you want to take a little hit we understand that but for some of you all that's just not what you need to doing it's

just not part of your path you know what I mean I enjoyed my time with that but when God said let it go let it go I had to throw the weed away I had to throw my vape away I had to stop drinking heavy hard liquor every single day I don't know what it is that God is calling you to give up but try the best that you can to let go and even if you're on these things that the Lord is calling you to let go cuz I'll be a testament I'm stubborn God is still So Graceful he'll still lead you on your path you just got to

ask him to lead you regardless just repent repent right now say Lord you know my heart but father it ain't easy for me to give this thing up it ain't easy for me to get out of this relationship it ain't easy for me to set this boundary with my family member It Ain't Easy God he'll have the grace to say because of your heart posture not because of your religious activity God don't care nothing about your religious activity he'll bless the weed smoker and alcohol Drinker before he He blesses the religious activity it's about your heart posture that's what he's looking for and when your heart posture is in surrender

and in submission things going to start falling off you going to stop doing things that you thought you needed to do that's my story and I got to share my story so y'all don't feel like I'm condemning y I can't condemn y'all there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 81 so I got to share and boast in my weaknesses because God delivered me from these things so that I can help and serve you all my leaders I'm called to feed his sheep which is why he has me meeting so many people all the time which he has people coming to me like a magnet shout out

the word says so my leaders let's pray heavenly father in the mighty name of Jesus Jesus Christ Lord I Thank you for this leader that's watching this video right now God they could be anywhere else but they made it here they made it right here and Lord I just want to say thank you for guiding them thank you for leading them Lord thank you for truly open up a space where maybe they could feel comfortable maybe this the first time they hearing a word like this maybe they haven't heard somebody speaking in this manner this open or this vulnerable but God if they hear your voice today Lord I pray

that you give them the strength and the courage to pick up the calling father I rebuke any spirit that is afraid of rejection we don't fear Men We Don't Fear nobody but God we don't fear men so Lord let them pick up the mantle because them picking up the calling is going to help somebody else it's going to save somebody else's life it's going to set somebody else free we need them to be the greatest version of themselves so God I'm praying strength I'm praying in in encouragement and I'm praying that you would give them the gift of the Holy Ghost Ghost God so father we love you we thank
